If I understand your question correctly, No this app is from the ground up made for the Clan Killas. I have a mobile developing company to power it, and I did all the conversions of their existing nav modules to make them suit our info. Like I said it's pricey but I had a break because there aren't any clans with apps and they believed in my vision to work with me. Hopefully this will allow them to come down on their prices, as I've shown them that mobile apps are not just for the Celebrities and can work for all kinds of applications ;-)

We're going to be coming out with this mobile app next month, and I wanted to show it to the UF Community as a way of looking at our future gaming on a higher level. We aren't around our computers much anymore and some of us just don't like using them. Knowing when something important to your clan doesn't get to you unless you're subscribed to an article or you just happen to check your forum only to be too late to participate in an event or discussion. With our new app, 'This all changes Everything' in the sense that Leadership will be able to send Push Notifications to either a certain demographic of the people who have the App (like sending something just to clan members), or to everyone for something pertaining to all gamers who have D/L'd the app. This New Mobile app is NOT JUST FOR THE CLAN KILLAS. It's for any and every gamer who wants to stay updated on gaming interests and news (we will be providing RSS Feeds to keep everyone informed). I encourage all with iPhones and Apple-based equipement to D/L this and even give feedback! I can certainly see [uF] eventually having one of their own APPS soon, and that would be great! But I ALSO expect to see 'clans' getting apps for keeping themselves organized on another level. Why go 'Mobile'? Because it is the one thing which we have in our possession at mostly all times. We can 'see' schedules of upcoming Clan Meetings, Practices, and other types of events that just about anyone can have shown on the app. For example, say that you host a kennel dog show and want your friends on FB & Twitter to know about it. Well, if you have the app, are registered in our forum and are pretty active as a Forum User...then you would fill out a request to post an event' in our forum and upon approval we would most likely honor that event to show on the mobile app! What's also neet about this mobile app, is that you could not only have your event scheduled, but there is the ability to 'comment', 'sign up to be at the event', 'location on GPS of the event's location', 'buy tickets' to the event and would even be able to post up pics of your attendence right in the same area of where the event is scheduled! This is just a small example of the posibilities of having a mobile app for your gaming community! It is a little 'pricey', but within the same catagories of price for what some of us have paid for clan websites. You mght even find a developer who would charge a monthly continuous fee...but it's all in what you feel is important for your clan. True. But the competition would be left up to the Developers, don't you think PEEBRAIN? I mean, do we have to have competition on every level of the process? It is things like that which make the whole 'gaming' process complex. The simplicity is that we are all gamers, but we don't need one console to control what games are available for it while the 'gamers' just want to play, right? For example: Socom could compete with Black Ops...but on the developers level not ours. That's just how I look at things because it's too hard to have my friends separate by a gaming console when all we want to do is Play the games ;-)

Yea but we all know that the PERFECT GAMING CONSOLE...would be the one that can play XBL as well as PS3 games! This should've been done a long long time ago, Like having free healthcare in Canada and Europe, there should be no 'console-wars' between developers on this matter...

It was 'OK'. I didn't like the ending being that Thor and the Chic cannot see each other until they make some genius transportation contraption. Reminds me of my girlfriend and I where we're 5,000 miles apart and only see twice a year. That's a bad situation to have to be in. ;-(

Good find, and at $2.99...it's not too bad. It's completely only viewable in Landscape mode, and when I tried to, it would not allow me to post to FB. It keeps giving me 'Application Response Error' message, and the Information legent (when you click on it) is too small to read and doesn't allow you to resize it. The other thing I don't like is the fact that it does not cator to Android smartphone users, so they are losing alot of potential consumers ;-)

First, let me tell you how I came up with the idea and then I'll tell you what the idea is: "Have you ever got tired of having one game in the console and then someone hails you to play with them on another? ~ You have to 'get up', 'remove the disc' and then 'put another' one in." Sucks right? I know. Back then I was really into 6 and 12 disc changers in my cars trunk and how you never had to do anything to switch to another disc. ~ Well, WHY HAS NO ONE THOUGHT about having a 3-disc changer for our gaming consoles? It would be soo cool if they did that and if I had the resources I definitely would be pushing for it. ;-) My Idea of: The "Perfect" Gaming Console...

I had that game but returned it (gamefly.com) because every time I tried to race with me friends they would all be able to go faster than I, and we pretty much had the same car horsepowers and etc. Same thing with NFS, people would just run circles around me. Don't know if your connection has to do with it or anything but for me to return the game it must've been pretty bad. Never got to fix any cars or all of the other neat things you can do with GT5 but it's a great-ass game.

It's annoying but really funny sometimes. As the 'little wheel keeps spinning round 'n round', I'll get like 20 messages of people asking me why I haven't yet accepted the Black Ops Invite! ~ Not to mention that while I'm fighting to get to the invite in order to accept it...the group have already launched into a game and I 'then' have to wait for them to finish and send me another invite! Really getting tired of the spinning wheel...

Whew! I'm glad of that. Sucks, I think I'll just go and put my head in the sand (ostrich's solution ~ lol!) until it goes away ;-)

I've noticed this for a long time but it never really hit me because I thought it would be recognized by all, and a patch would eventually fix it. But whenever I delete a person from my friends list (to make room for people who are more active than others), it takes at least 60 seconds or more! I've been on Black Ops many times and some new guy will tell me he cannot send me a friends request because my list is full. So I'll delete someone only to be 'kicked' from the game because the game starts with the XMB screen locked in delete mode. Is it just ME, or do all of you have the same problem?

It's funny how Sony is clearly the best console. You would think they would reach out further to get 'exclusivity' with game developers in the same way that Bill Gates obviously has but Sony is just too cocky IMO.

Ok, let me start off first, by saying that it is very hard to get any phone app approved. I had to wait a long time for this one, but now it's readily available in the Apple iTunes Store! Now that my foot is in the door, I'll be doing alot more apps in the future and even making this one available on the Android market soon. Now I know alot of you may not like Houston-based music but if it weren't for these guys crossing a few genre barriers (look for their upcoming new album ~ soon), I wouldn't even post here about them. They are not yet mainstream, but we are collaborating with alot of artists for future projects under the Suffocation Records label. I'm posting here for those who want to let me know what they think about the app I designed and if you want to comment on the groups music as well, feel free. I voted Yes because I think that 'as our community' it is our duty to help to keep it running without having to worry about the bills that keep it running. We ALL who come here and have a few bucks per month need to step-up and help-out. It's not just the Staff's job to keep this thing running, it's our home too! And don't tell me about the economy because I don't see any change's the economy has brought on in my life ~ I've been living pay-check to pay-check since I was 14 years old. Some of you who buy cigarette's need to stop smoking anyway: Put one of those packs back and put the money into this forum. And I will cut back by only hiring one prostitute per month (kidding!). But seriously, this is a no-brainer because we shell out money for $60 games, Playstation Move, Plus and other things, this forum should be not different.
