Ever try 5-Hour Energy?

Y'know.....those little red, single serving bottles that say energy in minutes, lasts for hours, no crashing?

 

I bought one today to try out for APC's Midnight Mass tonight, because my guys are tired of me sleep-walking into walls around 2am....LOL.

So I figured I would take one at around 10pm and I'll be good until about 3 or 4 am.

 

Anyone every try this out?

This will be my first time.....

I drink a case of redbull a week.....never tried those though...heard they have a stomache ache problem...but thats heresay.

i work sat sun mondays (3 12 hours days) then off 4 days. I go in at 330 am to 330pm sometimes later well anyhow i drink them b4 i goto work cause the kind of work i do i need energy and speed!!

 

Ur not going to like it ur first time trust me on that, but after like a few times drinking them ur hooked!!!

 

Only request i have is eat something b4 u drink it and if ur heart is racing dont worry about it youll get over it lol

 

For me they work but i guess it depends on the person.. i use to drink 2-3 redbulls a day i drank them so much that it wasnt doing nothing for me and i was drinking it like it was cool aid!!

I thought about using this too. But have been reluctant. In my job it is very easy to go 40-60 hours straight. Well...usually there are 2-3 hour naps in there, but when I am doing this we will usually drink amp or redbull.

 

If you have a good experience please divulge and any side effects would be good to know.

I drink Monster drinks enough, maybe 2 a week, so perhaps I will be ok for this as well.

I WILL have plenty of food in me before I take it though. I mean, it's the MASS.....who's NOT eating during that killing, all-night extravaganza!? LOL

 

And yes, I will post up my experience with it on Saturday......like Wade said, if our hearts don't explode.

I've used these before TOW, the only 2 side effects I received was a dull headache towards the end of the energy, and a bad case of diarrhea after I used it the first time, which would be consistent with Rooster's 'stomach ache' that he's heard about. After the first couple of times their good to go.

lol just make sure the Cummerbund isn't too tight, and don't drink too much cheap vodka or tequila...avoid Margarita's at all costs haha

I have a weird problem when it comes to those types of drinks. They actually make me tired, or have no effect at all. The only exception so far has been Arizona Tea Rx.

I drive a lot for work and have tried all kinds, Redbull, Monster, Sobe No Fear, they all have the saem result. I am drowsy, then after taking it, I am still drowsy. So for me, water, seems to work fine.

Havent drunk that... But I wake up around 3 a lot of days and drink a can of MONSTER keeps me up till like 930pm most of the time... or just get another one have way through the day...

IVE TRIED 5 HR ENERGY, AND TRIED MOST "ENERGY" DRINKS. i have found with any of them that i dont have any more energy than usual, but i have no problem staying awake because i am stressed out about wether or not my heart is going to blow through my ribcage alien style
