Whoever said it look anti bighands, it looks bigger than most qwerty's on cell phones. I wonder if it has to be attached to the controller to work. If it could be sitting by itself and work, that might be coo.

I have the Shark pad works pretty good, better then using a chord for a keyboard. I hate chords!

 

The sony one looks great! looks as if you can bring up friends list with it and go straight to creating messages.

Same here. I've got an old Gameshark Shark Board.

Yea the only problem with mine is that it runs on AAs they last a very long time though so its ok.

Sony's VP of Sales, Ian Jackson, confirmed to Joystiq that the PS3 keypad will make its way to retail in the beginning of December. The attachment connects to the top of the PS3 controller, giving users easy access to a very tiny keyboard. Unfortunately, amazon.com's listing of the device still shows a $50 price tag -- a price point which only 2% of you agreed with.

I doubt it, though it would be nice. I'm almost certain it draws it's power/sync from the PS3 controller. I just hope it doesn't encourange MORE cheating.... sigh... :-\
