    So it was pointed out to me that I had made an executive decision on Repawn and tournaments with Socom... First if anyone took that seriously, I apologize... I was being very Sarcastic... In my opinion, I don't think we should apply this in Black and as much as I like bomb squad, that also does not follow the Black format, we really can't include it unless we make some adjustments to Black. I just wanted to clear that up now that I have gone back and watched the show... Did not mean to say something that would be taken seriously when I was being Mr. Sarcasim.

    You are right we only talked with the Neautral partied Admin, otherwise favortism would have been called on any ruling. And as Stated now for the 4th time, the punishment is a repeat of the same incident that happened by another clan in the past tournament. We set the precedent then and we followed that. Where were you guys then, why is it ok then but not now, I don't know. And we have accepted the resignation of Staff member Backlash At this point I am really not adding any value posting in this thread... As for throwing the tide I ment these gunners got all of the kills and never lost a round.

    For the clans that continue on through the event thank you. To those that have left good luck in your ventures. As for the bottom line statements, which Path and his roommate or ex roommate, something like that, that seem to be everyone's fuel for our decision: Did you have to pay a fee for this tournament? Did you have to pay a fee to register on the forums? Did you send any money to Urgent Fury? If you answered any of this yes by being on this forums, then you might have something to do with the bottomline... Otherwise let it be know the bottom line has nothing to do with anything in a tournament. If it did, you would see us charging for every person that plays in the TacMap. As for the decision at hand, we stand by it as does the Tournament Admin Johnson. And as Bandit clearly stated, the ruling is consistant with the previous ruling. And Vicarious, you are right this is not the first time you told staff (Not the Tournament Admin) about possible ringers, but there was no proof at the time. And yes once we received proof we went on a fact finding mission and discovered the planned merger and the fact that verified by GB that NNN cannot make changes to their roster and that along with the merger they would continue playing as NNN because they qualified for the playoffs. I have still not seen proof of any of these members playing a match and throwing the tide. But we probably never will.

    Bamboo, I understand your delima, and I am not going to sway you in any direction... One thing needs to be very clear, at no point are we going to tell a clan how to run their clans, and we are not going to tell your players in your clan what they can and cannot do outside of Urgent Fury. One of the many discussions that came about in all of this is where do the Directors Draw the line between maintaining a community that welcomes players to bring their teams and a community that is ruled by Martial Law. The rules on Ringers and Rent a Players has some grey areas and this happens to be the perfect example of this. This is one of the issues we are having to deal with now because of this. If a clan feels they need to leave because of a ruling, then that is their decision to make. We have made decisions in the past that caused the same sort of outcry. We are still here and we have no plans of going anywhere. Plus I remind everyone to look at my first post in this thread, I did provide details on why our decision was made.

    That was the final decision about the POWs, as for match wins or losses, once they are confirmed with no dispute then the teams accept the result.

    First of all, all of the wars were confirmed, so no there will not be any return of Territories. That has always been the procedure and it was the same when there was an issue earlier in this paticular tournament. All wars are final, we however are giving the ability for the POW's to be released with Provided proof.

    Well you guys can go and quote parts here and there, and that is fine, we looked at all of the Facts and made the decision to remove the players from the Tournament. Due to the circumstances of the Merger and not informing the Tournament Admins, Staff or Directors, they were still removed from the tournament... and All affected clans would have the oppertunity to get any POW's back if they proved that the players were in the match as John has posted above.

    So that everyone understands the background on this ruling and what led up to it... According to staff we were presented a situation with members on the AIEL roster that were being called ringers, after investigating initially, we found that these were not ringers but actuall fell under what we would consider to be a "Rent a Player" immediately we had these players removed from the tournament so we could continue with investigating what was really going on. After this, AIEL informed us of an ongoing merger and that these 4 players chose to play in the UF tournament. Due to the situation with the current clan on GB which has qualified for the playoofs on a Black Ops Tournament, they are unable to change anything on their rosters. So in short after looking at all of the evidence, we removed the players, returned any POWs in wars that more than two of them were in (Proof Provided of course) and let the Tournament move forward. All clans please take note, if you are going to do a merger and you are involved with a tournament, you need to notify the admins in the clan rep section along with your fellow clans. This could have easily been your clan. We as Directors are not going to tell you how to run your clan's business, but situations like this need to be layed out to at a minimum to the Tournament Admins and Staff... otherwise all kind of issues will arise.

    No, John, AC and I did not play in the tournament, we felt that the Socom Players not UF Drectors should be in the Tournament...

    The beta forums will show up 1/2 hour to an hour after you complete your first match... remember everything in beta is not to be shared publically, Staff will be deleting any posts about the beta. As well as issuing infractions.

    You guys knock it all you want, I have now got a ton of hours and I am very happy... Uplink is a crazy fast mode, I don't know if I can even describe an example of how fast this mode works. And the intel drops where you die and stays there... WHAT A CONCEPT

    Ok now that the Private Betas have gone out, I am ready for the final push... these are for March 29th same time as KZ3. If you have Plus please indicate this in your reply because we would really like to hook those up that did not get in to Phase 1 and Phase 2.
