  1. Got a few, but one that will send me into a panic attack everytime are claustrophobic situations. For instance, being in the middle of a large crowd, like a concert. I can't stand having all those people around me and not being able to see out or move easily. And I used to love caving, but the last time I went into a cave that I had been into a few times before, I had a freak out. We were going into this cave and this part of the cave was very narrow. Narrow like you have to walk sideways and your front and back are only inches from the wall and then you come to an opening where you have to crawl about 15 feet because the ceiling just drops. Well, this stupid girl who had never been in this cave before, was leading the way and she freaked out and just stopped and wouldn't move and so the line of 5-6 of us kind of smushed up together. (Kind of like a car pile up, when something stops suddenly.) I was next to last in line and my gigantic brother-in-law was breathing down my neck and then I realized that I was all trapped in there and I lost it. I told my brother-in-law to move and he just stood there. (There was this little pocket next to us where he could step up on the wall so I could get by.) So I started screaming at him to move and shoved my shoulder into him and physically moved him out of the way and took off for the entrance. Once I could see light again, I felt like I could breathe again. It really sucks cause that was something that I loved doing and I just don't see myself EVER going into a cave like that again.
  2. We were thinking about getting one of these. The "games" or "environments" that you can purchase from the Playstation store that work with it look so AWESOME! Let me know how you like it. Might just have to get one. (P.S. Has anyone tried the bowling game? We just downloaded it and it's fun in a cheesy kind of way.)
  3. I remember that post too and remember feeling touched by that post and very sad for his family. Wow! This guy and his kid must really be some screwed up individuals to pull some crap like that. And personally, I would NEVER say something like he said in his "letter" about "God had this planned." Not real smart to mess with the man upstairs like that.
  4. The wetworks guy to which you refer isn't the one that allegedly passed away like over the last year or so is it, cause I remember someone posting that on the forums here and I felt really bad for his family.
  5. I don't either, other than celebrating Mardi Gras.
  6. Nope, but I did enjoy the Mardi Gras festivities in Shreveport, Louisiana. It's my one time a year that I "let loose" and have myself a few. (Not much of a drinker.) As always ... good times.

  8. Ok, ok, I subscribe to a particular magazine AND (oh my gosh, I can't believe I'm gonna admit this one) I watched Newlyweds when it was on MTV. Please don't think less of me ... lol!
  9. 2 or 3. I like being able to see the detail of the image.
  10. I believe the "random guy" was Ken Pavés, Jessica Simpson's hairstylist and good friend. ( :-[ Don't ask how I know that, I just do! lol)

  12. I like it. How do you make stuff look old like that?
  13. Political correctness has no place in society, but tact does.
  14. I think a lack of sensitivity for people who are suffering to the point of killing themselves is a bit narrow and general. I certainly don't condone suicide, but I feel for people like Skipper's friend who suffer from depression and believe suicide is the only way out of the pain. You are not talking about a person who is mentally healthy or can just "pull themselves up by the boot straps." You are talking about a person who has a bona fide disease. Of course, there is always the flipside. I have an aquaintance who's husband committed suicide about 1 1/2 years ago. As most people would think ... everything to live for. Beautiful wife and 18 month old son, beautiful home, self-employed therapist, building their second home, etc. Unbeknownst to his wife, he was under investigation for sexual assault/molestation of at least one handicapped 16 year old girl. This girl was a patient who he would visit for therapy at her school. (Speculation was that she was not the only one.) This guy carefully planned his suicide. He waitied until his wife and son traveled to Dallas to visit her family. He even went so far as to pre-arrange for his best friend to bring his wife and child home from Dallas because he knew his wife would be distraught and need the support. While his wife and child were in Dallas, he thoroughly cleaned the house from top to bottom because he didn't want her to have to worry about that considering what was about to happen, made future arrangements for their financial well being, called his wife in Dallas to tell her how much he loved her, made a final call to his mother, went into a closet that he had cleaned out, and shot himself. He left three suicide letters, one to a lawyer friend detailing how to handle everything so his wife would not have to, including how to care for her and his son during the days and weeks following his suicide, wrote a letter to his wife and one to his son. Based on what he had written, it was determined that he knew he was going to be prosecuted and lose it all. So in order to keep his wife and child from going through all of that and from losing everything, he decided to kill himself. This guy was not mentally ill, just a coward. Sad thing is, his wife had already been through so much. Three years before she accidentally backed over an elderly woman in a parking lot, killing her. And their son was only born through the kindness of one of her best friends who was a surrogate, because she could not carry a baby. (I won't even go into details on the miscarriages and all that they went through to finally have a baby.) Knowing what his wife had already been through, he decided to put her through one more living hell. So, all that to say, suicide is a cowardly act, but not all people who commit suicide are cowards. BTW, just read. Heath Ledger's autopsy ... inconclusive!
  15. WOW! Shocked to say the least. LOVE(d) Heather Ledger. Great actor. :'(
  16. Yep, this is what we use when we need to.
  17. I think the circle thing should be a little smaller. It is so big in comparison to your render that to me, the render is lost.
  18. That was wild.
  19. Posting it in our forums for him! WOW, everyone! Thanks so much. Just goes to show what a great community this is.
  20. Awesome! Both DO look great! Thanks guys! I'll be taking this over to him now.
  21. That looks great! I'll "drop this off" to him and let you know what he thinks! Thanks Viper!! Oh, and MainEvent, go for it, the more the merrier. ;D
  22. A member of our clan requested a sig and unfortunately I am the ONLY person in the WHOLE clan who messes with this stuff. BUT, my skills suck and his request is specific. So, would anyone here with a little free time and a generous heart like to take on this project? Here is what he has requested: (His name is Had3z) I would like something that represents Hadez (Devil), and how he has control over all wars. Maybe be a scene from WWII where soldiers are fighting outside in the snow at close combat, and the sky is a lite crimson color and large picture of the devil is in the backround consuming the whole sky with an evil kind of grin. I hope that you can picture this it would be nice, Thanks. I appreciate the help in advance!
  23. Can't you save some of your stuff off the hard drive onto a flash drive or multiple flash drives or an external hard drive? Just curious. Seems like you should be able to.
  24. I'll admit, the subject line made me read this one. Just dying to know what exactly was the topic of conversation to come and dang if it wasn't juicy enough! Lol
