Joyner struck again tonight, invading a UF4 war between LTU and \H/. He came in with a name [APC] Undertow. (with a period at the end) Luckily, LTU were able to vote him out before a round started and any mayhem ensued. He no doubt got the password from being a very short-lived member of O-K in these past few days. Please refer to your clan reps, as there will be a NEW password created by 5pm CST on Thursday. Thank you.

Sorry, but the rosters, ALL rosters, are concrete once posted. You can replace him come October 1st. And just so you know, he came into an LA room the other night with APCers in it saying that he was not being booted from OK, and that he was just making a new name under OK's direction, and will continue to play in UF for OK. This is not an accusation, but only what he SAID. Be wary. We will be, as well.

Goodness....I'm starting to wonder if the spoof ad and stuff is going to start some wierd stuff like a trend and stuff on this forum and stuff. That'd be messed up and stuff.

And just so all potential teams are clear, seeing as we're seeing some early sign-ups of solidified teams....the FIRST 32 teams to sign up will be the first 32 to be CONSIDERED for the tourney, as long as all guidelines have been properly met. Any teams signing up AFTER the 32 mark, if any, will have to hope that sign ups make it to the 64-team status. If not, anyone signing up AFTER team #32 may not be participating. I just wanted to make that clear, as we've had a lot of PMs asking about this. TENTATIVELY, the following dates will govern the launching of this tourney. These dates ARE subject to change at the discretion of Urgent Fury. September 2nd: Sign ups are opened September 16th: sign ups are closed and invites sent out September 23rd: a) sign ups continue for ONE WEEK more if 64 teams are on the horizon or the bracket and maps for the 32 teams will be posted on the UF website. September 30th: the first bracket of single elimination kicks off on this night.

Members of the [OK] clan asked us to bump this topic up to the forefront after it was discovered that the joyful Joyner had joined the [OK] clan and was about to go to war tonight. Joyner is THE only actual PLAYER that is fully banned from this tourney. This ban will not be lifting anytime soon. Considering how Joyner recently revealed he was banned from Socom for utilizing cheat technology in his gaming, perhaps [OK] would like to re-evaluate their newest addition to the family. To each their own, however.

No one needs to know where the other loot went. When you go to Vegas, do you question the casino on where your lost money went? Most people just wonder what they're going to do with the winnings when they win, if they win. So you're right....in the long run, it really doesn't matter. And no...there is no 2nd or 3rd place prize. In most events, 2nd place is the first loser. Correct me if I'm wrong, though. And yes, thank you for the compliments. For those waiting, the sign-up section will be up later this evening, around 11pm CST.

A section on the UF forum will be put up Monday evening for the 3-man team sign-ups for the UF: Breakout tourney. Please REMEMBER, in forming your teams, you CANNOT have 3 men from the same clan on a team. You must have at LEAST one member of your team NOT of your own clan. Good luck in forming teams and we'll see you on the battle field!

Make sure to tune in to the Urgent Frequency podcast tonight, as ALL details will be disclosed about the forthcoming UF: Breakout tourney. Cmdr. Fury will hopefully have all the answers to the questions floating around in your head. Also, the UF website will have the official RULES and GUIDELINES of Breakout posted sometime on Monday.

I don't know.....I think if we were all REALLY doing this, we'd see a lot more UF clan sites ranked higher on TSS. I really haven't seen any changes. We can muster a better concerted effort than THIS, can't we?

I was about to say.. I have been waiting to this damn thing for YEARS..!! (it might have been since UF1.. TOW, did you use it in UF1.?) Yes, same hat for every tour thus far in UF. ;D

I consider anything that involves competition a "sport." I just think there are different levels of physical activities in sports. You can have football...... then you can have baseball..... then you can have cheerleading..... then you can have bowling....... then you can have race car driving....... then you can have fishing..... then you CAN have Socom...... (Those were all listed in the varying degrees in which the "athlete" SITS ON HIS ASS.....all of which are considered a sport depending on your background)

A member of the UF community had reported to the creators of evidence showing that the RiP clan were potentially using extra names on their roster and had the intention of using those extra names if key players from their roster were taken PoW in the UF4 tourney so they could continue playing in the tourney while their other name was held PoW. As RiP HAS had PoWs taken from their camp thus far in the tourney, we are unaware whether or not they have been implementing this practice. The creators and admins of UF decided to give all evidence to a council of RiP's peers in the Clan Rep Section. The Clan Reps reviewed the material presented to them and gave a majority vote to remove RiP from UF4 play. This decision was derived from a council of YOUR clan reps and is fully backed by the creators and the appointed admins. As always, we expect each and every clan that wishes to be a part of this community to abide by its strict codes of honesty and integrity....not just out in public view, but within your own clan dynamics as well. This will not be a conversation or debate. This is simply a public notice.
