Laying down will always give you minimal movement. Also, using a tripod helps steady as well. That's what worked back in the day of CA. Whether or not Slant 6 has totally eliminated movement with the use of those two techniques, I have yet to fully try the load-out out.

....whew. I had a good day yesterday, getting out and enjoying a great day set up here in Chicago. Two great events that I was able to coordinate an attendance to. First was the Red Bull Flugtag that was here at North Avenue Beach in Chicago. A bunch of engineering hooligans who do their best to create a fun way to take a short flight. The beaches were CROWDED and I got there about an hour later than I wanted to, which would explain how I couldn't get close enough.....but it was still a good time nonetheless. For you hockey fans, there were two groups who made a Chicago Blackhawks vehicle and another who made a Red Wings vehicle....kindly letting everyone in Chicago know that their costumes were crafted "to let Chicago know what the Stanley Cup looks like." LOL that garnered quite a few middle fingers in the air. LOL Then afterwards, I took some time to get home, shower up and hit the Guinness Oyster Fest over in Roscoe Village. GREAT time. Guinness everywhere (and it helped that I knew one of the girls serving at one of the Guinness stations, as she's a volleyball friend, giving me a few rounds free), freshly shucked oysters on the half-shell and THEN a cool free concert on the street by Everlast which was GREAT. In the middle, he even whipped out "Jump Around," finishing it with "I only do that one when I'm happy and drunk now!" The crowd loved it. There was also some weird set up for "It's Always Sunny in Philly" with some crowd participation game show....I took a picture thinking some of you gentlemen would appreciate the host. ;D All in all, it was a GREAT 75-degree sunny day and a beautiful night. I'm gonna miss summer, but there's still plenty of great things to do in this great city.

By the way, I put a patent on this procedure. You all owe me .03 for every use of this. ;D

With the TACMAP and the standings fully updated for the playoff week of Riot Act, we see the final four clans who have stuck in there through all the other clans standing, ready to give it their final push. Each clan now having just as equal a chance as the other three to win the final crown. LPK, SxB, SHO and 101 are poised to make their move on the title of UF: Riot Act champion. In this final week, we see the first place slot being taken by someone new as Skull & Bones shoves SHO aside as they become the tourney leaders. 101 gets pushed down to the critical state, clinging onto the two territories that allowed them to slide into the playoffs with LPK just ahead of them. I'm very excited for these four clans and I wish them all the very best. We'll be watching the action closely and we're looking forward to crowning the winner! Mine was [RVN] NGHTHWK. I was so happy, because I died in my first two rounds and I just wanted to kill someone. Got Nghthwk down an alley and when I killed him, I had like 3 of his boys around me who would get me pretty quickly. But not before they all heard on proximity chat "Hey! My first kill on SOCOM was Nghthwk! I busted my cherry all over his face!" And all I heard was them chuckling saying "Tow sounds pretty happy." LOL

Hey guys.... Seems like one of the harder things to do, thankfully, is just FINDING where your friends and clan mates are while they're playing the Beta and you're just logging on. By the end of the night last night, I had to clear about 30 messages from my PSN with people sending and inquiring info about where a room was. What I did last night was just went into my PROFILE for my PSN and in that little caption bubble that you can type a short few words into when people look at you listed in their friends list....the word bubble that usually has someone's clan website listed....I just put CENTRAL 7 in last night, so that people could see me, see where the RVN room would be, and just GO there without having to type out a bunch of messages. It can definitely be shortened, as you don't have a lot of room to type, to something like RVN-USC7 meaning Ravenfall room in US Central 7 -or- if you were in someone else's room, say like 101, then you can just type it in that format as well like 101-CG1 meaning "In the 101 room found in Clan Games 1." The caption can change every time you log into a different room so that people can see, as they log on, where to find you without having to send pesky messages. It's just a thought guys. But perhaps one that you or your clan can use until everyone gets settled on where they're going to be at what time of the day and all. I'm not sayin' it's a GREAT idea......just an idea.

Played it all night last night in its varying modes. Loved every minute of it and I have NOTHING to complain about. I just loved every minute of it.

nah dude, it was all a joke. i tought OH COOL until i started to read the code, then it changed to WTF?? i actually had to look at it a few times though, i thought i may be lucky. i just knew that posting this, most people are so hyped up that they wouldnt notice the joke right away. my question is, how many people actually tried to enter the code? I should sue you.

Yeah, I received the email this evening at my Yahoo account. I think I'll be taking a half day tomorrow from work to get going on the download. This is feeling pretty sweet!

LOL...I haven't paid ONE bit of attention to the trophy thing. That seems almost more meaningless than SOCOM stats! LOL

It STILL makes me smile remembering how much of the center of conversation you were in the then-APC cars riding back to my place from the UF meet, Irsh.....LOL. "Wait....you're WHAT kind of cop?" LOL Good shit, and looking forward to tackling the bull soon enough!
