I was done with Cedric Benson when he fumbled on the 50 during the Super Bowl. That was the play that changed the game. The Bears were winning and were driving nicely with the first half coming to an end. They easily could have taken that ball downfield and scored a touchdown which would have let them turn the game over to the defense in the second half. Instead, Benson fumbles on the 50 and the Colts bring it down for a touchdown that swings the momentum for the rest of the game. If Benson doesnt fumble the Bears win that Super Bowl!!!!!! I hate him Oh and I also hate Curtis Enis, Rashamm Salamm, and the asshole who decided it was a good idea to trade Thomas Jones

I personally think this game is alot of fun. The first thing I bought was an upgraded sniper and the laser detector so I can drop bombs on tanks. I think the game is intense and offers alot more than COD 4.

Undertow, I would like to apologize if I sent the wrong idea across with my postings and my ideas. I was gauging the interest in this idea from the forum-goers in the attempts to see if their would be a demand. I was only doing so to see if the idea was something worth bringing to the UF staff and to Urgent Fury. I had no intentions of advertising a seperate league as I would not want to step on any toes. I was ultimately hoping that if this idea took off, it would just be another thing offered at the outstanding Urgent Fury gaming community. Once again I apologize if it all came off the wrong way. I also understand the negative points that you have brought up. The fake money is def more of a cosmetic that could be taken out. And I truly believe that all of the possible negative is outwieghed by the potential. If you really think of the structure and look at the possible path: This can actually turn into a true Professional Socom League.

Im def going to start working on some things seeing we have some interest here. I dont think we would be able to do this for Combined Assault because the numbers would be low and I would rather not rush it out there although we could prolly do something for CA too. I will be working on everything further in regards to gettin all the ideas on paper. I will put posts up here keepin everyone updated. Whoever wants to work on some things and ideas that they think would be fun please go ahead and post em up. I really wanna make this something exotic and out of this world because it wouldnt be UF material if it wasnt.

Yea I def know what you mean. The prices might need to be lower in order to expand the ideas further....its like madden franchise mode or MLB franchise. Say demo is 2.5 million while suppression is 2 million and breach is 3 million. The details can be ironed out.....but say for half the season you werent feeling demo and wanted to switch. The owner will have to take 2 million out to update his stadium. The numbers are meaningless at this point until a group can sit down and figure out the proper proportions that will make everything fit well.

I hear ya but their are def people who are going to want to be the highest paid, even if its play money. Human nature and competetion can be funny that way. You are def a team player who would sign for a low price for the good of the club. Youll be a nice compliment to that pre madonna superstar whos gunna want those millions lol. Think of this too....Demand gets to the point where we dont have the roster space to support all the players?? Might need a rookie league lol. Free agent pools, league leaders, trading block, trade rumors, winter meetings.....endless

Then as demand rises and people "claim eligibility" and enter into the next seasons draft class, their might need to be new teams created and an expansion draft. Might need to create the Jacksonville Breach and the St.Louis Boom lol. Like I said if you let your creativity loose there are a million possibilities

Yea you could def do a sig for what club team you play for. That would be cool for everyone to have. I think money makes it more fantasy sport for the players and gives them things to shoot for. Like highest paid in the league, career money list and all types of stuff. Could make free agency a hell of alot of fun too. You would def have to set a league minimum for the players too so you couldnt low ball them. Players might set up a union lol. I def like that idea for weapon prices too. The owner of the team would have to reserve money to buy weapons for his team to use. You could even build "stadiums" that have pros and cons to them. Say the home field advantage of the stadium is that the away team cant use snipers....

Junk you could always try to put something together in a smaller dose. Instead of going after the full blown tac map, you could start soemthing less consuming. When you get your 16 clans, propose a last clan standing tournament. It can be based on the same tac map values but just less detailed. Simply put, keep the war nights, set the attack and defend and have each clan pick a map. That map is there HQ. Each clan gets an attack and defend each week. When one clan takes over all of the other HQ's, the game is over. I think this will def attract alot of clans to have one last "King of the Hill" Socom CA league and at the same time wouldnt be too taxing for the admins of UF. Hell if you would like I will help you iron out the details as you attempt to get the clans and we can put together the proposal for Tow and them. I would def be down for something like this

Well to answer your question saint.... The reason other countries get this stuff before we do is actually two fold. Some scholars believe that the US lags behind in the importing of video game technologies and software due to our overextension in the Peak Oil wars. It is actually a viable school of thought if you extrapolate the idea of military use and its indirect effect on the trade winds. They feel that an isolationist approach to world affairs would cause a dramatic decrease in the time it takes for games to reach our shores. The two pronged supply and demand chain of goat politics actually supports this school. Now on the other hand, most people believe we get it so late because.... were simply not japanese -

exactly it should be 20 bucks tops. I mean youre going to pay 39.99 (pre-tax) for the prequel and then in six months have to pay 59.99 (pre-tax) for the full version. Over 100 bucks for the game basically. Actually kind of pisses me off lol. But yea when the full comes out ill just need a week or two to hook up a nice SL then ill race haha

I am def going to get Gran Turismo 5 when it comes out (in like 6 months - a year). The version that is coming out this april is the prologue which features about 7 tracks and only 100 cars tops. I dont like the idea of buying this version and then having to buy the real release when it comes out. But im def down with some races (for slips?? lol) when I do buy it.
