They haven't stopped making GTO's yet. The new GTO or Gmx282 (it's internal GM name) looks sweet, still in concept, but they brought back the ram induction and the scoop hood to go with it, added a Bullle muffler system, gave it a six speed manual tranny and a big upgrade in engine performance as well as handling package. It's not out yet but the word is it will not be made in Australia and back in the good old US. Everything looks nice on it, but yea it is a smaller car, that and there was a word there may be a Four door version.. I 'don't know about you but a Four door Goat makes me want to puke!! I hope that was just a rumor on a 4 door GTO. As for Transformers, I thought that was a Camero?

I'm hearing this a lot, and understand that there are a number of good quality established clans here that simply either do not have enough on the PS3 or else do not have a number of players for consideration to do the tournament.. A while back, this was brought up and again I'll go through what was decided. If you are a few of your clan mates, have COD4 however not enough to apply as a full clan for the tournament than please consider making yourself available as temporary members of another clan. This is acceptable for the time being, some guidelines that were discussed were that. A) your clan leader is OK with this and grants permission for you to do so. while you are in a temporary post, you are to conduct yourself as a member of the clan you represent withing COD4. you will wear that clans tag for COD4 only and respect and adhere to that clans guidelines of membership. C) the clan that accepts you, understands your temporary position and clearly understands that your loyalties lie with your giving clan and that when and if they become a viable clan for COD4, you will be transferring back to them. D) A certain amount of honor is implied, i.e. you need to respect the clan that your are representing in your temporary post, if the time comes for you to leave a certain amount of privacy as to the general tactics and game play the clan you were a former member of should be upheld. Refrain from giving out information you would have otherwise been not privy to. The clans that make up the base of Urgent fury have always considered themselves as not only a member of their respected clans but in a sense a member of the larger clan of Urgent Fury, as such this is a situation that is reserved for tried and true established clans here at UF joining an unknown and new clan in this fashion is ill advised However recognizing the newness of COD4 and that not everyone of yet as made the transfer to the next gen platform this temporary provision has been allowed and granted. For those members of established clans of UF whose loyalties remain with their clan yet simply do not have enough to field a team. Please consider joining another established clan who also is not at full strength for COD4 and would welcome the addition of a few players to field their team. Before doing so however, please assure that all parties fully understand this is a temporary post. As a guest of the clan who grants you a temporary position, at all times you should follow the established leadership and guidelines of that clans chain of command. Remember you are their guest, conduct yourself accordingly. Lastly this stipulation may be revoked at a later date and is to be utilized specifically for Call of Duty 4 in team competition within UF. That being said PBK is always looking for a few good shooters. LOL. p.s. To be fair there are several clans of UF that may be willing to grant a temporary post for others. Look around and find the one that best fits between yourself as well as the clan you are considering. Before accepting however, make sure your current clan's leadership approves of your choice.

AVENGERS! Assemble! On the onset, giving the 16 clan limit, it was the intention as Tow put it to myself and the other Staff members that immediately after the first Crucible a second one would ensue so that the poll for consideration for invitation to the main COD4 scenario based tournament was large enough to garner a set of 16 respectable clans. After seeing a very good initial response to Crucible which had close to 20 clans sign up in the first two days, I inquired as to the possibility of having two sets of 16 if the sign ups were to reach the level of 32 or more applications and rather or not we should consider this. Tow informed me he was already thinking along these lines (he tells me that for every idea I have!!! LMAO!!) but I have no doubt he was since when it comes to UF – Tow is on top of it and as we all know puts a great amount of time and effort into things here. The staff as a whole, with Sequayah taking the lead and going above and beyond on things has been diligently involved in getting the word out on this. We have hit a number of sites and forums. Also if the opportunity is made available we have been letting any clan we come across during game play know about our *little community here. For example Uncle Sid has on several occasions giving props to clans within the game. When you join as a group (for one example) a large ground battle type war in COD4 and find that a group of players join who have a number of players wearing the same clan tags and you find them to be respectable players then by all means please let them know about Urgent Fury and Crucible. We your staff and administration of Urgent Fury have been thoroughly going about spreading the word. The results have giving us a good number of applications and we are approaching 32.However we are still a bit short so I’m asking the entire community of UF to support us and help get the word out. In the staff section we are calling this operation reach out. (No D-75!! Reach out!! Not reach around!! Sheesh! LMFAO!!) anyway all kidding aside.. (that’s a Goat pun) this is a company call out to you the members of UF. Put the word out when the chance presents itself on what is the biggest and best online shooter gaming community on the world wide web.

I've tried my cellphone (motorola) as well as the one with warhawk.. I think they both sucked.. half the time they don't work. I got a Madden NFL USB headset, it's comfy, has a vol control and mute and a clear good microphone. It also comes with a 10' cord. NICE! but if you want even more distance than a USB extension is cheap and works just as good for both the headset and recharging a dead controller while you play.

With Martial arts typically there are those that do, and those that want to. For the guys that gave a good chuckle by way of a joke on this Happy Holidays thread which (as usual) took on a different topic mid way through and turned into a thread on the Martial Arts. I’d like to give you some words of encouragement. It’s never too late. I had some MA training in the Military, I was a K-9 handler in the Military Police core. As such some techniques for take downs and restraining were taught. However, I didn’t start full fledged training until I was 32 years of age, at 43 it’s now eleven years later. Some important notes, stay away from McDojo’s or places such as National type belt farm karate schools. Any Instructor that says something like, I can guarantee you a black belt in two years is someone you don’t want to study under. The truth is, how long an individual takes is entirely up to how much time and effort one puts forth. I didn’t start competition until I was 35, three years after I began training, at the time I received my first deg. Black belt. It took two years more to receive my 2nd deg. three more years to gain 3rd and another three to get to 4th. When I finally began competition I rolled thru the field. Earning 1st and 2nd place titles in Weapons, sparring and forms in consecutive years between 1998-2004 to include titles at the Diamond Nationals as well as MN state champion four years running. I own this to an instructor that never awarded advancement simply due to the time a student held a belt, only when the skills necessary to achieve advancement were fully understood was advancement awarded. My success in competition was due entirely to this, you don’t know how disappointing it was to see others hold an advanced belt and see them not even be able to correctly perform even the most basic of techniques. I’m retired now, hell man I’m forty fricking three!! I haven’t been in an actual street fight in four years. When you know, Truly know! That you can handle yourself and have the confidence to do so than it no longer becomes necessary to prove it. It allows me to simply walk away if the opportunity exist to do so. I’m not sure why but for some reason folks seem to sense this and know better than to push their luck. The last real fight I was in was when some guy decided to try a rear choke hold on me while I was leaving. I quickly pushed backwards, taking his advantage away and slammed him into the wall behind us.. an elbow to the throat released his grip and a quick reverse side kick to the mid section left him gasping for air on the floor. As he looked up I could see in his eye’s he knew I now had complete control and could easily inflict serious injury to him. There was a time I would have done just that, however as I said there wasn’t any reason to do so. Instead I reached down helped him up and bought him a beer. He showed up at the Academy a few weeks later and became a student of mine and my Master: Sensei Tony Rockwell. My point (with no apology for a long goat post, if you’re reading it its because you want to so STFU) LOL. is that’s it’s not about learning how to fight, it’s about learning how to avoid having to. It’s not about learning how to hurt someone, it’s about having confidence in your ability to protect yourself or others. The Martial arts will help you stay in shape but not only for your body for your mind as well. It doesn’t matter which style you study what matters is that the person who instructs you not only teaches the skills inherent to the discipline but fortifies the lessons of respect, pride, humility, confidence, honesty, perseverance and integrity. Us TKD guys tend to get clock'd by those Jujitsu guys.. oh sure we do fine on the outside with kicks but once they get inside it's history.. Are you studying the Gracie/Machado style? I started taking some " Bujinkan Tonbo Budo Taijutsu" as well as a bit of good old traditional boxing to try to get quicker at my hands and gain some grappling skills. The boxing helped a bunch but I'm just not well adapted for ground fighting. Kind of sucks, since everyone knows every real fight eventually ends up on the ground. Oh well, I only fight in the ring in sparring matches anyway. Back in 04 I blew out the left knee in a match at the MN state Championships. I won first place in weapons in my division h but finished a meager third in sparring after being disqualified for not being able to continue. It sort of ended my MA competition. I just teach the kids now. Which is a blast!.

Yea bro drinking and smoking at this early stage isn’t that big a concern yet. Man I couldn't agree more, I think about the trees each time I open my mail box.. it's ungodly how much crap they send me... even more so considering I do the opt out thing every year. Granted however that before I did I received even more than I still do in terms of junk mail. I'm one of those folks who shreds them without even opening them. If I'm not looking to buy something than mailing me information on it isn't going to change my mind. But I got to give props to the National Do Not call list.. https://www.donotcall.gov/ I registered there and basically have got very little telemarketing calls ever since. It also doesn't expire and doesn't need to be done every year unless you happen to get a new phone number. I recommend adding cell numbers as well. Unbelievable!! yes I have gotten telemarketing calls on my cell!! On the rare occasion I do get a spam call, I usually tell them .. "hold on, give me a second. I'll be right back" then i put down the phone and go back to playing my game or watching TV or whatever I was doing. I usually walk over and hang it up about an hour later.
