Yah - we're still hanging in there. It's been difficult uniting the clan on one game since SOCOM 4 flopped. Totally understandable that testing is needed. I'm just hoping this game allows enough customization and match options to facilitate tournament play. I've never had as much fun playing a game than participating in SOCOM tourneys on PS2/3 with the UF community. If the GRFS allows for a tourney here, you can bet we will be one of the first clans to apply for an invitation.

Ya - the --> clan is hoping GRFS catches on. We had a lot of guys pick up the beta and with so many positive reviews from my squad - we're going to make the jump to that game and hope it quenches the SOCOM thirst. Hopefully the game delivers and the UF community embraces the game.

I really hope so. I haven't played in a UF tourney since SOCOM Confrontation died out. IMO from playing the beta, the only difference between this game and what SOCOM 4 could have been....is the title. -
Thanks for all of your suggestions. While the muscle cars look to be the most fun, I am ultimately looking for something more refined. To be honest, the more research I do, the more the g-37 and the A5 seem reasonable. While the BMW's are my dream, in terms of personal success, I feel that I am not where I want to be in my career to "deserve" one. It wouldn't make too much sense to have a 6 series or M3 and devote a good chunk of my salary to it. The more I think of it, I want to save the BMW for a later date. Some of you mentioned getting a house/apartment...if I were in a different situation I would agree!! However, at this point, I would like to focus on myself and have as much disposable cash as possible to really enjoy my life. I've been thinking about someone else since I was 14!! Now I can be selfish and just focus on doing what I find fun and take advantage of the situation. It's not just buying a car...I would also like to take up many hobbies I missed out on due to trying to save for various relationship related items. In regards to women, I am aware living on my own and showing more independence is likely more attractive than any car I can come up with. However, as I posted earlier, my focus is not to find another relationship. I'm not going to look for one or purposely avoid one....just going to let life work itself out in regards to all that. Again, thank you for all the suggestions and advice. It is greatly appreciated!!

I don't know what most of that stuff means...but that car looks sick! Gonna do a lot of research on this stuff so that I can find something I will really enjoy!

W/O getting in to the details....it is def over. I'm def acting on a bit of impulse but I just spent 8 years (my whole dating life) with the same girl. Now that it didn't work out....I want to think of myself and just have fun!!

Right now I'm in a Chrysler Sebring Convertible (2000). It is the car I have had since HS!!! Since I've essentially been saving for college, engagement ring, wedding, and all that stuff....cars were (clearly) not high on my priority list. However, now that all that stuff is gone....I def want to get something nice! I looked at the GT-R which is above my price range (sweet car)....still have to take a look at 370.

Nice friggin car, dude!!!!!!!!!!!! The more I look at the BMW's...the more I like them. I'm also considering the Audi A5, Infiniti G37, and BMW M3. and yes....the M6 is an amazing car! Way too expensive for me though....

Men, I have just recently ended a very long and serious relationship. While I may be acting on impulse right now, I've decided to consider the possibility of buying a new car. However, I know very little about cars and I'm not even sure what "brand" of car I want. Today was the first time in my life that I even went to a car website to see what was out there. I begin my search with BMW. They are high performance cars and most people I speak to (family/friends) only have positive things to say. The price range that I am looking for falls between model 328i and 650i (both coupe). The 650 is absolute max (definately a reach for me) and the 328i is very very realisitc. Basically, I'm 23, single, still live at home :'(, and have a very solid income with essentially no expenses. I want a fun car to drive. I figured there will be a good amount of you out there that have a lot of knowledge about cars and can give me suggestions of cars to look at. Please Help!!!!

For some of us...it is number 3. Black is always one of the best experiences I have playing Socom. All the clans that participated in this tourney are top notch and again proved UF is the best tourney site around!!

I can't really confirm (at work) but if you go to the socom.com forums there are a few threads there where people are posting the same thing. This is a good thing...hopefully all 7 maps are in the rotation. The people on that forum say the demo meds are only 4v4 and 8v8....no 16v16 apparently.

Since this is a gaming site.....I guess you could say he got Pwnded!! Seriously, that was a very brave and intelligent thing do by that women. Especially since she just had an incredibly traumatic experience. I'm impressed she kept a level head and took ADVANTAGE of HIM. A bit of poetic justice??

Oh god really? Is that gonna be the excuse now? Christ I know right. We are SUFFERING for the Clinton times now. Anyone could get a loan causing all the crisis we are in right now. No one thinks about that. People can't pay LOANS that they took out in the 90's not 00's. But ofcourse barely any Obama supporters knows ONE thing that he stands for. Or the fact that he won't support ISRAEL especially because of the fact that the US is the LAST ally for Israel = World War 3. If that is the case' date=' how come Bush didn't fix it. He only had [b']8 YEARS[/b] to at least try! He had a whole lot on his plate once WE WERE ATTACKED by Al-Quida. I think the defense of our country is a little more important than bailing out banks that rip our Americans off. But, thats just me. Its a historic day for America electing the first African American President. The American public is always voted emotional, and CHANGE is a long ways away and most of it unattainable. If you listened to Obamas speech in it he said we are going to face some tough times getting to where we want. Again like ive been saying LOWERING the expectations so people aren't out raged about the empty promises. I know I am going negative but when I see people voting for a person because they hate bush but hes not even on the ballot and DOESNT KNOW ONE ISSUE that a person stands for. Its pretty sad. But the truth of the matter is Obama is my President and your President and we need to UNITE and put our differences aside. God Bless America! The comment about people voting for Obama and not knowing what he stands for is quite ignorant. It sounds more like sour grapes than you trying to communicate an intelligent thought.

I found this list on the Playstation forums and thought it really covered everything Confrontations needs.The compilation of changes this guy has is almost perfect! I thought it would be interesting to read what you guys think about the list. Woo hoo!! Same here Tow. I went to gamecrazy and they had it!! Just got back from picking it up. I live in the New York area and stores such as Gamestop, Bestbuy, Circuit City, Walmart all did not have it. Gamecrazy it the place to go!!!
