Man, some of you guys are pretty adamant about rockets and such. As far as GL's go, I haven't used them or been "exposed" to them on this installment. In the previous socoms, they were definately a cheap/no skill weapon. Rockets are NOT easy to use. I try to use them and still don't think I've gotten one kill with them. I die from people using them all the time. That being said I love rockets. I love how cool they look flying at you. I love that you can avoid them by diving or jumping. Did I mention that they look friggin cool?! ;D

As a matter of fact, a monthly tourney is set to begin starting January. ;D Cash prizes? I doubt it, cash brings out the creeps and cheaters.

From my personal standpoint, they prizes are cool, but an after thought. The fact that we can play wars and concentrate on the job at hand, not cheaters, and crooked refs, and bad organization is enough for me. As far as active clans. Currently there are 30 clans playing black (2 dropped out). I know of at least 3 clans offhand that weren't playing because so few members with ps3's and Socom at the time of sign-ups. I'm sure there are a few more lurker clans out there.

cBF has about 28 members with about 18 or so very active. We are capping ourselves at 40 or so, just to make sure we can always man wars. Our core has also been together since the beginning of Socom 2. The only other game we played as a clan was COD4 and for us that was a mistake. We love to play very tactical and COD was too much of a run and gun game for us. We'd much rather lose wars as a tactical unit than win because one guy is a beast. I still hope you guys stick around tweek. I think you'd enjoy it once you get to a tac-cap tourney. Thats the tourney Blacktar was talking about.

Yeah, but with that accent, you can say it again. ;D You were a really fun bunch to play with. That was the first time I've seen that tactic for the mole and it was a good one. Hit us up sometime.

Yeah, wireless isn't a good idea. I know that Aiwa makes some decent starter surround sound systems for less than 400. I bought one 2 years ago for my sons room, and I was always having to tell him turn it down it was so loud. Your best bet would be to get Goat to get in here or send him a pm. If it is AV related that man can get you all the info you want and then some. ;D

So it's not very often that my wife really wants a new game. Usually she waits until they go down in price and then picks it up. So, there is a new "game" that she wants. I love how everyone wants to hate a winner. Everyone that is saying their team is better than the titans are full of shit. The Titans have done what most teams have failed to do and that's beat the teams they should beat. They have some tough games coming up, but if they play like they have, not including yesterday, they will be fine and have a very good chance at going to the big game. While the Jets played well yesterday, the Titans beat the Titans. I really don't know what their coaching staff was thinking. 10 or so carries for the whole game? Fischer must have gotten a little brain damage from his tandem jump. You have been bruising teams all year with the run and you decide to air it out all day? Titans are still the best team in the AFC and arguably in the NFL. Hey philly, why don't you go grab some pine with yer boy Donovan. :D

Dammit Sid!!!! The Raiders did their part, and the Bolts didn't do theirs. Now them damn donkeys are all alone up there. Oh well, the Raiders beat the donkeys in Denver, so I don't care if they win another game all year.

Yeah, we figured that out Pito. Just trying to beat the system. It will help tremendously with those huge games though, like GTA4 and Fallout 3. So I'm' happy. ;D

We are pretty energy efficient at our house too. The wife even made me use a bunch of green products while building. We sprung for extra insulation up front to reduce heating/cooling. It took awhile to get used to the way those light bulbs gradually get brighter. Everything gets unplugged when we go away for more than a day. We got energy efficient appliances when we closed on the house. We got the new low use toilets. I thought there would be a difference, but they flush just as well as the normal ones. The only other thing I wanted to do but couldn't afford was an on demand hotwater. I did lay all the groundwork for it so I can add it in the future. The only thing that isn't is the ps3. I'm really trying to get it to flake out in the next 4 months. ;D
