LOL....Jullian Assange takes classified information that he digs up and shares what he has seen....to see our new template, you had to do more than click the link. Then you had to make sure that you came and posted that you saw it. If you have been moving around the site, you would have seen it was down, clicked the link and gotten, be back soon. Yet you found the need to make a comment to let everyone know you found out how to access it. Which again, wasn't necessary as seeing as you know it was down. Again, it would have been simple to throw out a PM and say, hey, saw the new template, "i like it, or i hate it." There are several log files that a forum, website and server automatically keeps to help pinpoint when an error occurs on the server, its used for debugging. Activity logs are kept on forum packages to track statistics, which is great for monitoring a forums activity, usage and the time of day when most active. And the "logs" are nothing more than everyone that has visited in 24 hours, that if turned on to view would just make the forums look bad. I just find it odd that you see the need to spend so much time on a site that you attempted to steer people away from on a large site. Yep, there are ads on the new template, 2 actually....the same two we had before.... And your attempts at a compliment was done so in a Backhanded fashion. There are many ways to be disruptive than to come in harshly bashing people. I see that in an attempt to appear as if you are casually browsing and "doing research" and asking probing questions, you are at the same time making statements in those questions to try and instill some unrest where you can. Constant behavior in this manner will not be tolerated. It becomes annoying to Urgent Fury's community and to the moderating Staff. If you do not like Urgent Fury, and that was made clear by your posting on outside forums, then there is really no reason for you to even be here. And if you are here to see if you like it, then be a contributing member and not one who tries to "stir the pot" by making backhanded comments. The difference between you making "devil's advocate" observations and current members here is that you have proven that you hate Urgent Fury and nothing that you say is taking as trying to help; whereas, those that play that part here on occassion, do it as their attempt, to give a flip side view to make things better. So as we want people's opinions, we want people's opinions who are giving them for the right reasons, and not just to "stir the pot."

We are not in the business of banning; however, there are rules in place that we expect out of common courtsey to be followed when coming to Urgent Fury. One of which is the point of Solicitation. We do not go to others sites to cause drama, nor do we recruit from another site. Common Courtsey and Professional Ethics are why we do not use such tactics. I have also stayed away from this thread and refused to post. If a business question was truly the interest in the initial post, this would have been handled privately. What other reason would there be to want to post in a public place with so much detail than to try and make a statement. I love MAG, and have since the beginning. If the clan support gets better, it will be awesome. It might not be on par in certain aspects to cod, but as the first console game of its kind....it sure does open the door to enormous potential for some really killer events. It is also a good balance between halo and socom. Team work is ultimately essential, but there are also opportunities for good leeroy jenkins run and gun. Because there is so much going on, teams that employee several different strategies across their platoons seem to always do the best. But teamwork is essential....oh....and if you have a BAD squad leader and or platoon leader u are screwed also. Add me also....I want to play with ppl who understand teamwork. I like both game styles personally. Each are different and fun. Both can be played in a tactical manner. Socom is to me is more like the military shooters that I have played on PC. To win you must build a team and work together to win. Occassionally you will find someone that can just seem to walk around and slaughter people, but if playing as a team, you will win more times than not. Socom, moves at a slower pace because most modes are, u die u sit till next round. So the seriousness of planning each move and working close is essential. Halo/COD Style - is, to me, more of a aracde, made mainly for the entertainment aspect. You can either play as a team and wipe up or if u only have 30minutes, you can hope on, play 3 games or so of TDM and shoot it up for the whole 30 minutes instead of playing 2 or 3 games that you may actually play only 10 minutes of gameplay and 20 minutes watching if u die early. Socom is great because it promotes community and a fanbase unlike any other I have seen outside of PC shooters. You can easily recruit clan members and build friendships. Halo/cod style again is entertainment based....IMO....and easily not focused on community. But I also must say that even Halo games never hit as often as COD. They are clearly two different styles and activision has chosen the halo style that has been popular to millions.....but they shoot themselves in the foot, because as popular as they are, they could add a clan support functionality and dominate most if not all of the shooters. I am really hopeful that Socom 4 is going to put a squeeze into COD so that they will have to slowdown and rethink their commitment to the gamers.

As I was passing by the TV this morning, Fox and Friends had a guy on the phone that showed Dashcam video of him avoiding an on coming Semi-truck that bashed though the concrete barrier. When asked where he learn to drive that way, he said that he played alot of video racing games and learned the basic handling principles of a car are picked up.

Currently we have individuals that play on xbox, but since there is not a base of clans like there are for PS3, it is difficult to put any solid offerings. However, until we can have clans coming in, everything tournament we have can easily run in paralelle to PS3. We have not pushed to hard for xbox until we can get the UFGL ready to give them something to come and do. Which will be soon.

Just wanted to give a quick update. We are fine tuning the last little pieces on the UFGL. We are a few short days away from the Grand "Re-Opening." There will be another announcement made a day or two before the actual reopening.

As we are continuing with our growth at Urgent Fury, our needs for support continually increase. We are constantly evaluating and searching for dedicated, trustworthy and reliable talent to be able to fill specific positions that will help to improve and provide better opportunties for the Urgent Fury community as a whole. After we have had a chance to discuss the issues around the recent posts, we have come to the conclusion that we will remove the ban that was imposed on Pathogen. We admit that we were just as much a part of the incident and that the right thing to do is to revoke the ban. We also do not condone the behavior exhibited by either party. Prime - I mean no offense, but this post did make effective points; however, we were already in discussions surrounding this issue. And your request to remove the ban also played no part in it actually be lifted. It was the circumstances alone that prompted the discussions to begin between the Directors and Staff. I want to make it clear that this ban is ONLY being lifted because we feel that we were also in the wrong. Had this been one sided, the ban would remain without any discussion. We want to be fair in our judgements, but that doesn’t mean that you can come in and begin to openly insulting, bashing or showing disrespect to Urgent Fury Staff and Admins. One the flip side, members should expect to be treated with respect as well. This type of activity, along with repeated attempts of causing disturbances just to “stir the pot†will not be tolerated. If you have suggestions or improvements that you feel could be added to improvement Urgent Fury, by all means, offer your advice, but do so in a polite manner. Also understand, that just because a suggestion is made, it is the Director's discretion to evaluate the suggestion and see if it fits into the goals we have planned or are planning. As we are looking to improve our forum structure, this has already been put into consideration. And just because things have always been done a certain way, may not fit as we continue down the road. But in the end, Urgent Fury's main "purpose" for being is always considered for any growth or change decisions. This is also a great example of something that could be put into the Suggestion Box.
