  1. I have never seen an upside down maple leaf....... LOL
  2. We should totally figure out a way to host a LAN UF single elim tourney at a specific location. Almost like a large convention, have different clans come in and play 8v8 via LAN line. Now that would be really cool.
  3. Some nasty storms over here, but nothing extremely serious...yet. I think it is going to just go south of us here in Arlington Heights.
  4. Haha will do. Thanks for the free "Tow Pass."
  5. Thank you for all your kind words MaCoo. Yea, I found it Rage. Goose and I ordered the shirts and took a picture of the two of us. Then we sent one to Rage's son Iceman and had him take a picture. I then rendered out Iceman and put him in front of Goose and I. Turned out pretty cool.
  6. Definitely was a great experience. It is going to be interesting going back in game and hearing some of these voices and knowing exactly who is on the other end of the mic. Thanks for organizing and hosting it APC and Undertow it was great to meet you all. Irsh, that was a sweet ass bag set, it was cool to meet you and I look forward to seeing you in game. As for Bags, Goosey stop your crying, my back is still sore from carrying you all day. Say what you want, but you will always be MY wingman.
  7. The argument with Michael Jordan does not hold water in my opinion. It is much like MLB the Show 2006 when Barry Bonds was no longer affiliated with the player's union. They made a player named Reggie Stocker who was black, #25 and played Left Field for the Giants. This coincides with the likes of the Michael Jordan incident. IMO the difference is that in both Michael Jordan and Barry Bonds cases, the player was modern, had not retired, thus there numbers are not technically (as far as record books and retired numbers go) directly linked to them. In the Jim Brown case, the #32 on the Cleveland Browns will be forever linked to Jim Brown because it is his retired number, nobody else will ever wear that number. Furthermore Chili, I can't say I agree with your argument because if it is the All Browns Team, it is not referring to a single year, in which a single person wore that number, it is referring to the best players of Browns history. This leads me to believe even more that it has to do with the fact that the #32 on the Brown's team matches Jim Brown's retired number. I hope he gets a settlement out of this. I think it should be investigated in the future for Madden to do things like MLB the Show has done and get the legends consent to actually use their true names and numbers.
  8. My suggestion is an HP Pavillion dv6000. I have had mine for almost 2 years and have had absolutely no issues. I am going to be a Media Studies major at the University of Illinois at Champagne-Urbana and was also very worried about disk space. In my experience, your laptop is never going to have enough room to hold all of your videos. My dad got me the max amount of hard drive on mine and I filled it up within a year. The solution is an external hard drive that attaches through USB. Mine is a 500 GB drive and I have put all my videos on there and less than 20% of it is full. Mobility it not an issue for the hard drive. I simply unload any videos I have on it when I get home. As far as the laptop, I have never had problems with it. Vegas runs seamlessly, and the laptop has taken several spills from TV trays and such and still runs great. As far as Vegas being installed...I don't think that is an option because Sony makes Vegas, and highly doubt they work with HP and Dell in that respect. My guess is that you will have to purchase Vegas separately, it is extremely cheap for software, I got mine for $90. My laptop also has wireless connection that is solid. Let me know if you have any more questions.
  9. Here Chilli, check out this website. It may help explain a little bit. http://www.playcornhole.org/whatis.shtml This is what the actual boxes look like. http://img.alibaba.com/photo/11067315/Toss_Bag_Bean_Bag_Toss_Bag_Game.jpg
  10. Haha Bags, is another name for Corn hole. If you don't know what corn hole, it is a game made of slanted boards and bean bags. The boards have a hole in the middle and you try to toss the bean bags into the holes. And no actually nobody was wasted...yet. Goose and I had to leave early because he had to be back for a dinner thing. Off the record MaCoo called me on glitching when I put all 4 bags in the hole. ;D

    Thanks Chilli! ;D
  12. I constantly call my twin brother Goose, and my cousin Killer52 in real life. Another time Goose and I were sleeping in the living room and mom said that I sat up really fast and yelled at him "Dude drop that sniper on the roof!" and then laid back down. LOL!!!
  13. I really like the idea of flying solo and running on your own and making your own tactical decisions, when so many other tournaments have a team atmosphere. What I would suggest is having minimally four players per match and make it a FFA, with a score goal of 20 kills or so. Having 3+ other targets may cut down on the camping. Possibly have the top two scorers move on. I think this also may open up interesting connections between members of different clans. For example if there were 4 players per match. I could get on the UF forums and PM one of my opponents and say "Hey let's work together and both try to move on in this one." BUT with the FFA game setup it makes for a CBS:Survivor like feel where you question whether you can trust anybody. I think if community members are able to understand its simply a game and nothing is personal, such a setup could really make for some intriguing situations.
  14. I have to quote what Mav put on our boards this morning! "I lost 5-2, but I made sure that guy is going to have a lousy day at work today." That cracked me up. LMFAO, it is true, Im one tired Mofo. LOL! Nothing against you Tool, you're a great guy, but I had to get my $4.00 worth as well .
  15. LOL! I had myself barricaded in the C room of Vacant with claymores. At one point I was seeing if I could jump between the cubicles and tables without touching floor. It was quite amusing. I also grabbed some food and a mountain dew, went to the bathroom and was doing work on my computer with the controller sitting on my lap. Tool ran into one of my claymores once and I nearly shit my pants. Haha good times man.
  16. Hell yea, I'll be there with Goosey. We are ready to kick some ass in bags. Hopefully it doesn't take two hours though! A Mt. Dew and a bag of pretzels would be awesome! LMAO! What snack did you run and get?
  17. Haha I will surely bring my vid and still cameras. Maybe throw together a short montage, and possibly input some into the SHO video cast (if it ever gets going again ).
  18. I agree Deadly. I used to see that in Socom all the time, but it just doesn't happen in COD. Goat, thank you for all the information. I was familiar with a few terms you used, but always wondered what sort of mumble jumble lurked beneath them. Thank you for shedding a light on several topics that I have wondered about since Online Gaming began.
  19. WOW! That was freaking hilarious. At first I listened to the podcast and had no clue and was like WTF is this? I came here and read all the comments, caught on to the pun, listened to it a second time and laughed my ass off. Nicely done!!!
  20. LMAO! Those posts were spanned over like 5 days. They were saying goodnight every day when they went to bed.
  21. Looking forward to seeing some SHO guys there. You've been added to the list. We are looking forward to it as well
  22. I prefer not to make excuses. Bartman was never an issue in my eyes. In recent years Moises Alou admitted he would have never caught the ball. IMO it was Alou's negative reaction to the incident that sent them in a downward spiral. Not to mention any real Cubs fan knows that Alex Gonzalez's error on the double play ball is what solidified the melt down. What is wrong with Cubs fans thinking every year is our year. It never hurts to hope and pull for them. If they blow it so be it, I am going down with them, but until that time, THIS IS OUR YEAR! I personally have never made an excuse for the Cubs, I know when they blow it, and I admit to, so please don't place me into the stereotype that you have formulated in your head about Cubs fans. PS- How is Pitt not a road trip? LOL Thats a little baffling to me.
  23. Smokes, I couldn't have said it better myself. I have been a die hard Cub fan for all of my 18 years and this is easily the best Cub team I have seen. Lilly is a deceptive pitcher, and his stuff will only get better as the season goes on. He throws a lot of junk including that nifty, huge curve ball. Speaking from experience (I was a #2 high school side arm junk thrower), I got better as the season went on. The more time he has to get those junk pitches moving around the better he is going to be. As for Jim Edmonds, the Padres were extremely silly to let him go. Sure he is old, but he can still play with the best of them. What impresses me most is that most of his home runs that I have seen are opposite field bombs. You only see the best hitters in baseball go yard opposite field on a consistent basis. As far Harden, I am stoked, this is making our already good pitching staff stellar. I am interested to see which transaction is going to pay off more, the acquiring of Jim Edmonds for next to nothing, or trading to get Harden. Hell I hope they both pan out nicely, but for now, only time will tell.
  24. Good luck finding tickets that late in the season.
  25. No, but I did read the explanation that Corruptor posted. LOL
