I know that is probably the case but not my intention. If anyone one wants me to share my story with them I will gladly do that. What I have been through may save someone else from that same path. PS to staff. If this is something that is overstepping the forum rules let me know and I will not go on with this.

What is up UF. I have been out of pocket for quite awhile and I am trying to get back into the swing of things. I had to come to the realization that I had a problem so I went into rehab for 21 days and now I am out and dealing with life on life's terms. I just got online to play some Socom for the first time in a long time with Bandit and had fun. It is pretty amazing the things that are fun when you are not drugged up! Anyway I just thought I would let everyone that was or wasn't concerned that I had fallen off the earth that I am in fact here and better than ever. I will become more active soon enough. I still have a lot of things to deal with but I am taking it a day at a time. Hannibal.

Wow that was powerful. I never had thought of this aspect of things. You know we always talk about the victims that lost their lives but this right here opened up the spectrum of impact that I hadn't thought about. Think about how many of these phone calls were fielded by 911 operators. They are trained to give "Pre-arrival" aid to the victims or reporting parties. I had not thought about the stress and trauma that those dispatchers as well. Not being able to help and hearing thousands of calls just like that one.

Yeah the tribute brought back some tough memories for me and I wasn't even there. I remember exactly (like I am sure everyone else) what I was doing that morning. It was shift change at the station when they told me that a plane hit the WTC. We sat there glued to the TV and contemplated how dumb that pilot had to be to hit that tower. We were discussing that he may be drunk or whatever when out of the corner of the TV I seen the other one hit. I am pretty sure all 6 of us said "We are being attacked!" pretty much at the same time in unison. It only got worse from there. We are coming up on the anniversary once again. Make sure you thank your local Public Safety (FD, PD, EMS) and let them know how much you appreciate them for putting their lives on the line to save others. Thanks for the tribute.

So I bought this SAMSUNG for my bedroom and decided that because of distance while playing Socom from the larger one I decided to move it into the living room. Well over the last several days I have not been satisfied with the TV so I took it back today and bought this BEAST and just hooked it up. It has wireless internet and the XMB just like the PS3. Which I also purchased the new slim PS3 both from Nebraska Furniture Mart which was cheaper than Best Buy. This TV is flatout amazing. I was thinking about going with the new LED tv but when it came down to it the only thing that the LED had over the one I purchased was "I have an LED TV that is an 1" thick" and that is all. This Sony is amazing with blueray and I can't wait to log on and play socom tonight or tomorrow.

I got everything hooked up and just ran the wires through the living room (not pretty yet) and moved my chair to the center of the room. I am watching Transformers on Blueray OMFG! That is all I have to say. Now I am going to log on and play some socom.

Ok I purchased THIS package at Nebraska Furniture Mart and got a very good deal on it. I also purchased another HDTV Samsung 40" LCD that as also on sale. Took it home started to get it out and realized that my front speakers were not going to work very good so I went to Best buy the next day and was looking for stands to put them on. So after 3 suggestions that they sales rep had and after each one he came up short on having them in stock. The 3rd suggestion for front speakers were for THIS speaker and I said I would take 2. He went to the back and came back with speakers that were clearly larger than the ones I just selected. He said well I have the deal of the week for you. He said they didn't have those speakers in stock and he felt bad for not coming through again so he said he would give me THESE for the same price as the others. I said lets do it. So I spent quite a bit of time this evening putting it together but still have a lot of work to do. I have Direct TV coming this afternoon with 2 HD DVR's for living room and bedroom and a 3rd standard for the kids room. I only have the Subwoorfer, floors and center channels hooked up because I have to mount the other 4 speakers. My living room is a wreck but I decided to check out some sound with blue ray and played some socom online as well. Just those speakers hooked up are amazing and I also put up the samsung in the living room because the Vizio was just a little to big for the living room. Very impressed with the samsung and I think things will be very amazing when I get it all done this week.
