This was on E60 not to long ago but it had to do with the football player that was supposed to be a NFL draft prospect. He was a strong safety if I remember correctly. The Army stated that if he was to get drafted by a Pro Football team, make the team and play 2 seasons as a pro that he would be released from going to Iraq. The Army finds it more marketable to have the player recruiting in the NFL than sending this high profile to the war to possibly be killed. I am up in the air on this. On one hand he signed up to be in the armed forces and they require you first and foremost to complete that contract. On the other hand this kid (NFL prospect) worked hard and is very talented why not keep him here to play football and recruit more people to fight in our Armed Forces. He was drafted late and I mean late in the last round (maybe 2nd to last if not last) and so it is to be continued. If he makes the team then great. He stated in the piece that he is not sure about being drafted. He said that he sees his friends going over there and he feels bad. All of his friends are saying the opposite. They are saying live here make millions and live long.

There has been some very impressive storm systems ripping through the mid west and central US the last couple of weeks. The system before this when from West Texas into and through Nebraska. I had this same problem but I called the support and they helped me with the settings and now I haven't had a problem since.

101st has always been a Socom Clan and we are currently supporting any efforts with COD and Socom CA. We have enough interest to support both right now and we hope that there will continue to be action for the COD side of things with the new Socom comes out.

Are you going to have another Tac Map Tournament for Combined Assault before Confrontation?

This crap to me last time I was on Socom. Usually I am a calm person on the game but I guess being off the game for so long has shortened my fuse. I think we were playing Frost Fire and this jack ass (gangster) was telling 4 or so of us 101 guys how to play the game. Granted we were down in the round count like 2-1 and we were getting smacked. Hell I hadn't played in so long so it was like 3 101 guys. Any this guy is the only one left on the 4th round and the bomb is planted. He is against 4 on the other team he kills them but doesn't get the bomb diffused. At the end of the round he says guy I just went 4-0 that round you should listen to me or something to that affect and Hog speaks up and says wow you went 4-0 and still lost the round. It just went down hill from there. He started to talk about how much we sucked (by now he was 5-5) and how awesome he was so I said come check us out at 101stscreamingeagles.net and challenge us. He comes back with people take this game way to serious and basically called us scrubs for having such a site like that and we aren't team players yadayada. I went off the handle and said that is why we have that you puke and said several other things. To my amazement he came back with (in a very calm voice) wow you probably really do eat people don't you. I was speechless for about 0.5 seconds! Why do I have to be associated with Hannibal Lector? Why can't it be Hannibal from the A-team or even Hannibal form the Meercat Manor? It always has to be Hannibal Lector. Not fair

Yeah I understand his post. Last tournament we went undefeated and we decided to put our 4th string in which cost us a loss in the single elimination. This tournament we are starting with the 4th string and putting in the 1st string studs when the bracket is put out. LOL
