Hi, Folks- I hope you have enjoyed seeing some of what we have in store in the upcoming Cold Front DLC. I have had so many requests from people asking that we show you some of it. And we plan to show you a lot more! As I mentioned before, we are not going to give a time frame for Patch 1.6 or for Cold Front until we have a firm release date. We do have internal target dates and things are looking really good that we are going to hit them. But until we are 100% sure, we won't be releasing that info. I'm sure lots of you remember how things were around here not too long ago when we gave out a time frame and then it had to be changed. We don't want to repeat that. I am really happy that we are finally able to at least share some details with you about what is to come. I know a lot of you were really anxious to see what was in the works. We will continue to show you more as we get closer and closer to release dates for both Patch 1.6 and Cold Front. Pretty much the same old same old. Nothing new.

I already posted this on the blog, but seeing as it's important news, I'll post it here also. Are you using a cheap, hefty memory card to save content on your Xbox 360? If so, you might want to make some changes. Quickly. Microsoft spokesperson Major Nelson announced on his blog that “unauthorized Memory Units will no longer work with the Xbox 360″ once consumers download and install the system’s anticipated November update. While the move is meant to thwart piracy, it’s also incited some backlash from 360 gamers. At issue is the fact that a standard, first-party Microsoft memory card holds a rather paltry 512MB of storage and retails for $29.99. Gamers looking for more bang for their buck have been able to purchase third-party cards with up to 4GB of storage for only $50 — nearly eight times the space for less than twice the price. But once the update goes live, any card not recognized by Microsoft as an “approved†device will simply fail to work with the system. Disgruntled 360 owners have been weighing in on Major Nelson’s blog (currently sporting roughly 400 comments), frequently pointing out that chief competitor Sony lets users save games with any USB-compliant storage device and can even swap in non-Sony branded hard drives. So which cards won’t work? That’s a little tough to say, as Microsoft has yet to issue a full, specific list of approved and non-approved cards. However, they do offer tips for figuring out whether or not your card cuts the mustard. And before you simply decide to pass on the update, consider the wealth of goodies packed inside: Facebook and Twitter functionality, 1080p HD movies on-demand through Zune video, streaming music through Last.fm, and news services through MSNBC, to name a few.

I love the single player. I already beat it on easy. Moving on to normal next. FYI - The single player isn't short or anything I just didn't want to stop playing, next thing you know it's 5am and that's after watching the Yankee Game on Friday. Finally finished it yesterday.

You also have to remember 1.6 will be out first, then the DLC. So don't expect the maps too soon after 1.6 drops.

Arms Run, a new game mode that features randomly placed missile launchers that must be activated or destroyed, depending on which side you’re fighting for. I personally think the pricks will. The 2 new Special Forces that come with 1.6 will be free, and I'm thinking there going to charge for the DLC that comes after it. >

World Wrestling Entertainment was saddened to learn of the passing of one of the company’s most popular and charismatic legends, “Captain Lou Albano.†WWE extends its deepest condolences to the Albano family. “Captain Lou†was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 1996. He performed for WWE from 1983 to 1996. Albano began his storied career with Vincent J. McMahon in the 1960’s as one half of “The Sicilians†tag team with his partner, Tony Altimore. He will be greatly missed by the WWE and his fans.

The Dutch KCT Posted by SOCOM: Confrontation Online Team Last week, we showed you a sneak peek of the new Italian COMSUBIN Special Forces along with some of the weapons that will be included in the free DLC that will be part of the 1.60 update. Today, it’s only fair that we let you have a look at the other included faction: the Dutch KCT! In this shot, you can see their new exclusive weapon, the 417 assault rifle. After the patch is released, it will soon be followed by the promised DLC pack that you have been waiting for! We know how badly you want to get your hands on that and we are looking forward to getting it to you! As we have mentioned before, Patch 1.60 will contain some free DLC which will be available to everyone. Today, we want to share with you a screenshot from it, giving you a sneak peak at the Italian COMSUBIN Special Forces. In this shot, you can see their new combat camo and their new primary weapon, the SPAS-15. Also shown is the AK-74 which will be available to everyone.
