  1. I believe someone asked for popcorn. Thanks for passing some to me! I'm going to refrain from any comment, though there's a million things I'd like to say to these clowns LOL. I'll just munch on my popcorn.
  2. I thought I posted the PSN release date earlier:
  3. Nice write-up Churchy. Pretty much what I expected, looking at the original screenshots. It's unfortunate that Carnival makes for Spawn Camping on Domination, but I am looking forward to that map the most nonetheless. Trailer Park immediately looked like a more condensed version of Scrapyard, hence noob tubes and Shotguns will reign supreme. I'm not sure how I'll like Fuel. I love Overgrown, so maybe I'll enjoy Fuel as well. Do they compare to each other or is it way more camper oriented than Overgrown?
  4. They suck. I've lost all hope. As bad as this division is, it appears that this team is just doomed. The bullpen and pitching performs, the bats don't. The bats are there and the bullpen collapses. It's a lose-lose. Time to clean house at the deadline and pray to contend in 2-3 years. Thank GOD I have the Hawks to be happy about. Hopefully the Bulls and Bears will be contenders this year, because now that the Hawks finally hoisted the cup it is going to be a LONNNNNG summer of crappy Cubs play.
  5. Congrats Tool!
  6. Chili, Resurgence won't be available until after the first Crucible on the PS3 (or during it perhaps). I don't see why it couldn't be included in a Crucible X, but that's up to the admins of coarse.
  7. Can we at least wait until after the Stanley Cup and NBA Finals conclude to start that? ;D
  8. To be frank, Selig's excuse is a load of crap. He just doesn't want to give the players a leg to stand on in terms of the UMP's being brutally bad of late. This game will be the turning stone into inducing instant replay in a more expanded role in baseball (beyond just homerun calls). Yeah? Tell that to the committee in the 90's that overturned 50 no-hitters well after the fact. There have been SEVERAL calls reversed by the commissioners office over the years (See George Brett Pinetar incedent as one example). Selig could have done the right thing here, but he didn't want to show up his umpires. As far as Joyce...I didn't post here in the days following it, but I said it in an ongoing thread on the VR forums. Joyce really did the right thing. That day he really apologized and MANNED up to his blown call. It was a touching moment when they shook hands and Galarraga presented the Tigers' lineup the next day. I wish some umpires would be as big of a man as Joyce. A lot of umps refuse to watch video of calls they've blown, out of pure stubbornness and an unwillingness to admit they were wrong. I'm still torn on instant replay. If they did something like Football, give one or two challenge flags per game to each manager that could work. The big thing is the prolonging of the game. I really like an idea I heard of adding a 5th umpire to the crew, who will stay upstairs and be ready to review every play as it happens. He then can relay his findings down to the head of the crew on field. This nullifies the need for any type of challenge system. Very quick and painless way to get things right. Bob Brenly says it best...The human element doesn't belong in the game if the human element is WRONG.
  9. It doesn't release until 6 PM EST tonight.
  10. To me Junior is #4, unless you slap an * after Barry... He was the image of baseball in the 90's. His stretch of baseball in Seattle was one of the greatest performances by any player in any decade. He was just SO great and above the steroids era. One of the true heroes of the Steroids Era that NEVER needed to use Roids to be a great ball player. It's unfortunate what happened to his body when he went to Cincinnatti, but that's what is SUPPOSED to happen to your body after the wear and tear when you hit your 30's. Not like some steroid induced players that last until their 40's and in some cases put up better numbers in the ladder stages of their career (see Roger Clemens/Barry Bonds). Just imagine how good he could have been if injuries didn't play such a huge role in the 2nd half of his career. He'd be number 1, no doubt. Griffey is and always will be a class act. I sure hope this isn't the last we see of him in the baseball world. Perhaps as an analyst or as a coach. This is a sad day for the game of baseball.
  11. Well I'm sure you're going to see the replays. The final batter of the game Galarraga gets a ground ball to first, he goes to cover the bag, throw and step on the bag beats the runner by two steps. Jim Joyce (Ump) calls him safe. Galarraga retires the next batter for the "28th" out of his perfect game. If this is not appealed and granted as a perfect game this is a travesty to the sport. How do you miss a call like that? Galarraga may have snowconed it a bit, but even a snowcone counts. Unreal call. I'm livid for the Tigers, Galarraga, and their fans. Just simply unbelievable on what should have been the final out of a PERFECT GAME. How in the name of God do you even call safe if it was close, much less being beat by 2 steps?! That's utter classless by the ump. At least he stuck around and took his lashings from Leyland and the Tiger players. Galarraga didn't say a word, just a look of disbelief.
  12. Me likey! I think the college chick in the 2nd Transformers was SMOKING.
  13. Well timing and the lack of MW2 support is exactly the thing. At the last full rep meeting for the first 141 we were told that essentially, there would be SOMETHING for clans to partake in on MW2 in a max of 2-3 weeks. Meantime it's now June (well technically May 31st) and we're just now getting another qualifier tournament. There's no question why interest is at an all time low. Socom was what UF was built around, but Confrontation is a game that's been pretty much dead for over a year now. The fact that a game that released in 2008, had/has TONS of flaws, and overall is a repetitive poor game (disgrace to have the name SOCOM on it's package), has had more tournament play than MW2 this year at UF speaks volumes. There are plenty of clans who got BORED of waiting for a tournament to come along or heck even an announcement about a potential tournament. It gets boring playing in the same public rooms with the same boosters, 203's, cheaters, and disrespectful punks. The community wanted another tournament for so long and this 141 feels like the Socom Confrontation DLC...Too little too late.
  14. Actually none of those are on TBS.
  15. yeah.. backlash just spent the whole week searching for it without any luck! soo yeah, photoshop! Admit it...you did as well.
  16. Firstly the knucklehead who wrote the article in the OP needs to get his facts straight lol! The PSN launch of the Stimulus Pack went off without a hitch. On the other hand, XBL was down for nearly a day when it launched on 360. :police: I'll be purchasing this for sure. I loved Strike. Vacant wasn't bad in MW1, but with shotguns and the new air-support...I see that map becoming an instant "VOTE to SKIP." The new maps look great too. Look for the "Resurgence Pack" to release on the PSN July 6th. Also Prane I do remember them stating at some point Spec Ops would be in a DLC pack. Assuming this is the last DLC pack, I hope they throw some Spec Ops in there.
  17. I watched a little of the first video up to Jessica Biel, then turned it off. I have personally SEEN Jessica Biel after she rolled out of bed... It was in Maui and she was sitting at the table next to me at a restaurant at about 7 AM Hawaiian. She's still a stunner without makeup. There are plenty of NATURAL beauties, whom makeup makes look even better. Alba, Biel, Kate Hudson, and many others are examples. That video, just from the little bit I saw, has a lot of bad pictures overall, not just because of a lack of makeup. There's the one of Janet when she packed on pounds for a film role...
  18. What's wrong with the old man telling kids to get off his lawn? It is his lawn after all LOL. I am another who falls into the category of under 30 and I find the trend just plain annoying. How people want to dress is their business, but if your ass and/or boxers are hanging out you make it other people's business. The last thing I want to see is someone's nasty boxers when I'm out with friends. FUCK YES!! you have earned a Hi-5 Haha awesome Prane. Hi-5 times 2.
  19. She's never done porn. Any pictures you have are most definitely photoshopped Lucky.
  20. anybody know where i can see it free without stealing Well HBO on Demand has every episode. Other than that I'm not sure where to find it without pirating. My hunch is you'll have to wait until the DVD/Blu-Ray release. Btw it was a great mini-series. I really enjoyed it. Also it never occurred to me that Sledge-Hammer was the kid from the original Jurassic Park. That was a very good catch. This is the first substantial role I've seen him in since Jurassic Park.
  21. Good God...I was hoping we didn't have to hear those words until at least Training Camp. >
  22. Never got into Heroes. The only reason I watch NBC is for Sunday Night Football. In terms of networks and shows, NBC is perhaps at the very bottom. I spend most of my tv time/dvr time watching Justified, Two and a Half Men, Deadliest Catch, Dirty Jobs, Man vs Wild, Mythbusters, Ice Road Truckers, and so on. None of those show on NBC. I see NBC honestly behind every major network out there...The Coco/Leno scandal made it even worse.
  23. Never compare me with those poser Italians on that stereotypical show LOL. They give us real Italians a bad name. Also Prane I think I've seen him dozens of times too. Either that or there's just that many idiots that wear their pants hanging off their asses. I just read that Evanston is trying to enforce fines against this. I think every municipality should follow suit, particularly the city of Chicago. The argument against it is that it is racist. It's not racist, because I see people of all races "sagging" almost daily. Here is the article: http://cbs2chicago.com/watercooler/evanston.sagging.pants.2.1701557.html
  24. Hawks take Game 1 in the Shark Tank! Big Buff comes through with a big goal in the 3rd. Great game by both teams. Niemi looked rock solid today. I still can't believe that we didn't have a single PP to the Sharks 5, but we were able to come out on top despite that. Go Hawks baby! Let's take it back to Chicago up 2-0!
  25. Thanks everyone, I have all the data I needed. I ended up filling every age slot just by asking at the VR forums, here at UF, and from close friends on facebook (a site I rarely use, but it came in handy today lol). Thanks again for your answers!
