I didn't care for the game, buuuut, I was in the original beta. I never DL'd the public beta. Your saying its a helluva lot better? And I am making an uninformed decision, if you will. i did DL the pubby beta, they had changed a lot. there were no issues, period. the gameplay itself improved, IMO. the overall 'feel' of the game felt better, smoother, and more natural. zipper responded positively to the feedback given, and it showed in game.

played the original beta, then played the public release version. they changed a LOT, the gameplay felt a LOT better. i'll definitely be picking this up come release.

maybe it really is coming to an end... yeah, yeah no. ;D ;D when i die, this will get passed onto whatever children i have at the time. even if they're like, 2 y/o and have no clue what "UF" or "socom" is, they'll be here. but for the time being, i'm not leaving.

i LOVE movies man, and have a big collection. so if i wanna relax i'll go, make some popcorn(kernels in a pot, not the bagged shit !) some light butter, sit down w/my dogs and watch a movie. either that, or....

played the original beta, played the 1/4 release beta, i saw very little difference. the gameplay itself to ME, is a bit rough, kind of slow, doesn't really do much for me. but the game modes, clan structure, even game size are all things i DO like, a lot to be honest. i'll end up renting the game, and going from there. as for factions, raven is comparable to something out of halo..

skip out on that theatre, take the day trip up to the garden state plaza(paramus) the theatre there is maybe 2-3 years old, stadium seating, BIG comfy seats, and the 3D is amazing.

as for the surround sound system, i'm looking into older threads i know existed....i didn't know if there was one for this subject, so i started my own. ;D but again, thank you. i just wanted to make sure i didn't have to shell out $$$ for the "monster" cable type of deal.

website/place of purchase aside, a regular hdmi cable will work? i don't need anything special? (btw THANK YOU for that website though, i'm still going to best buy tomorrow but i think i can wait for the cable if it saves me some dough..)

so i got a 37" vizio 1080p LCD tv for christmas, and i'm having problems figuring out what i should get for my ps3. i was planning on going to best buy tomorrow morning and wanted some advice from people who know what they're talking about when it comes to HMDI cables and whatnot. i ask, any suggestions?

hey man, i resent that. i still check these forums, just not nearly as much.. Back in the day you were here more then you were anywhere else in your life though. LOL So now that we know what is above. What kind of tourneys are they? oh absolutely, i can't help but laugh at some of the shit i did..not bc its funny, but bc it's almost sad.
