I still don't know. ;D JK, the upscaling is simply stretching the pixels to emcompass your entire viewing area. It is NOT higher resolution at all. Now thats not to say that I know what I'm talking about, but that is the way I understand it.

I think you were in a game.. the lobby is pretty standard..? But i agree with you this game is off the hook. Racing is fun as hell.. (Helicopters not so much. lol) Try racing a "Cannonball Run" you all start out on foot, & you have to reach all 5 nav points first to win.. on foot or in a car or whatever.!! Good times.! Chili, I dont know what the 360 version looks like, but when your invited into a room, you start out in the map as a free for all on PS3. Not until the host takes you to the lobby to start the match are you just sittin there. Its just the players in your group too. Sounds like you XBoxers got ripped off man. Of course, you were able to play online last night so.......

I love my G3! Take the time to unlock the scope and you have the best sniper rifle in the game. Low recoil, quick shots, high capacity mag. I owned with it just last night when a bunch of us from APC and Rogue 7 were playing. I know, me owning sounds wierd, but its true!! ;D You need to put down the AK Nack. Dat shit is bad 4 u. -
So I called GameStop on the freezing last night. THe first thing they said was what system, I told them PS3, and they said that they are currently out of PS3 GTA, and to bring it back next week w/ reciept for exchange. I said I had a 80G, and they told me that it wasn't the system at all, it was happening on all 3 PS3's AND the 360's. He said it was due to faulty disc's getting through RockStars QC department. So I decided to call Rock Star. I went to the website and called the 1-800 #. It was fuckin busy. I swear to god, I got a busy signal. Never in my life have I EVER got a busy signal on a 800 #. Too much man. >

Yeah, I would say give it some time. I had no problems driving. Now racing the Helicopters was difficult. I still cant land the damn thing.

OK, so about 5 of us all went out at midnight and picked up our Grand Theft Auto 4. We met up after the insanely long HD download by simply checking our phones in the single player game and accepting Lucy's invite (pretty sweet). So I get into his room, but I'm not just looking at some lobby, I'm in the map. Lucy is nowhere to be found. It took me a second to realize you have to press the call button on your BT headset to hear anyone, but then I can here Lucy telling me and Affliction to meet him and Smoke up at the strip club. We never made it. You have too many fun shit to do in the waiting room to pay attention. You could honestly spend an hour in there jackin each other up in every imagineable way. You can take a speed Boat out into the ocean, or blow your friends up when they get in for a ride (Bunni), you can take a helicopter around the city, and I mean it was awesome when I first topped the trees and saw how MASSIVE this game is, or just use the blades to chop the shit out of your fleeing friends. It is simply the best lobby Ive ever been in. After about 10 minutes of this, Lucy started a game. I honestly couldn't tell you what games are available. I know we played team death match. Basically we ran around and tried to kill the rival team. We played cops and crooks, pretty self explanatory. After awhile we decided to race. I shit you not, we raced helicopters. You can use any vehicle in the damn game for racing. It got pretty old after a bit, but still......... By this time we have been playing for 2 hours, and we were getting into another game. During the loading it basically locked up; it just kept showing the loading screen. I logged off for the night and don't know if anyone else played after this, so I'll leave it for them to tell ya if this was a more common occurrence. Bottom line, so far the hype for this game is well worth it. there is so much to it that it will take a freakin week just to play all the different modes available. If you haven't got this yet, stop reading and GO GET IT. Alright, anyone else feel free to add to this as I'm tired as hell and left alot out.

Well again, I totally see where your coming from. I just know that rules are put in place to ensure the general public stays safe, right? You never make a rule to be an asshole, it has a general reason behind it to ensure public safety. If all the kids are on their phones, well no one learns, the teacher has no control over his/her class, and it makes for a nightmare situation. On the same point though, our humanity and decency should be evolved enough to recognise the difference between a possible bad situation and one that serves a purpose. How could you look at a young man and tell him he cannot speak to his own father? I just couldn't man. And as far as how many years the soldier has served, versus that of a law enforcement officer, well I would bet that the officer who uses his weapon more than once in a career is more of the exception than the rule. I don't think that is the same as a soldier's life. When you see your Dad, thank him for me. I appreciate the men and women who served in ALL wars, not just the justified ones. All good points Shane. I can see your logic, and it does make sense. On the other hand, to compaire ANY of the jobs you mentioned to being an enlisted soldier in an ongoing WAR, is not fair. I have no stats to back this up, but I would wager that the amount of soldiers killed in Iraq and Afganistan compaired to the loss of life in any of the other mentioned ( P.O., Firefighter, Pilot) groups would be staggering. I'm not degrading what these folks do, just think your compairing apples to oranges there. As far as the father NOT calling the school, depending on what he's doing in the military, he probably doesn't HAVE access to a line too often. If he's given a set amount of time to talk to his loved ones, well that may be the quickest way to reach them. I would hate to have 5 minutes, only to sit on hold for 4 and a half.
