I couldn't wait for vegas any more, it's great to be playing a third person shooter again, the co-op is a blast. but like was mentioned it's too short on single player. Connection issues on 2vs2 but I didn't have any on co-op other than the Mike clicking thing.. which is really annoying. Hey It's EA servers.. and we all know their Servers SUCK! I'll be getting VEGAS as soon as it hits the stores.. but I like Army of Two, it is fun, it's third person, and the air guitar celebration with you co-op partner is cool!
  4. You can actually access your router/modem with the Ps3's browser. just type the url of the router in the address bar. (for example for a linksys type 192.168.1.1) or whatever Ip you used to access the router from the PC. Then log into the router like you normally do on the PC. I've found it works for some but not all routers, had some difficulty with a Belkin, but no problem at all with a linksys. Some of my fiends were able to do this and some were not. Not sure why it didn't work for some. Don't see any reason why the ps3 browser can't. If for some reason you need to change your settings on your router while your pc is being repaired you can try using the ps3's browser to do so.
  5. Wow yeah, they were there after Undertow posted.. but they aren't there anymore.. COOL! looks like youtube or else DV8 didn't appreciate the idiotic responses and had them deleted. 8. Congratulations Ill Gamers UF Crucible Champs. And Congrats to Old Guys Clan for making it all the way to the final. Way to represent for the old timers! A sincere congratulations to all the clans that participated in Urgent Fury’s first ever Call of Duty Tournament. By all accounts it was a success, many things were learned that will carry over into the next offering. But for each clan and their respective members they will be able to proclaim “when UF had their first ever tournament outside of Socom, I played in it!†Hurrahh!

Rainbow Six Vegas two is doing the same thing.. co-op off line via split screen or online via Network the game keeps track of the accomplishments and both players get the points for completion regardless of if they both go through it all together or team up with others. (at least that what I think they are saying it's sort of vague) Also you have the added benefit of the two AI Guys to take a bullet for ya.. LOL http://www.gametrailers.com/player/31499.html
  10. I thought DV8 looked good and I think it's a great idea to support them, but after listening to HighDef in the podcast I now really like what these guys are doing. The attitude and the whole premise behind it all is just really cool. "News by gamers for gamers" I love it! Let's see if we can't get clan DV8 to come sign up for the next Crucible. I think both us and them would enjoy getting to know each other better. And it's always a good thing to be adding yet another honor clan to UF's membership.
  11. GOOD Question..... Here's your answer...
  12. That was ccol... Nice web site, I thought you did a good job on the interview.. short and to the point with a good explanation of what a Tac Map tournament is. p.s. is Apple your girlfriend? LOL.
  13. Ok if you need a hug and all that.. just don't go grabbing my @ss again like you did last time... ! >
  14. I've always spelled NUBS like that not like Newbs since that always reminds me of Fig Newtons or something.. but hey it's all good and since you asked I'll fix it right up for ya there Street....
  15. Good stuff Banshee... you already know how I feel about you guys... I can't stand you @ssholes!! :o But only when I'm not playing either with or against you guys in any dayam game we play online: on those occasions I got nothing but Mad/luv for Sxb.
  16. I've noticed a small bit of confusion lately on the UF chain of command structure so I thought I'd clear things up.. and seeing how most prefer pictures to words... I used a cartoon so the simply minded folks (namely MarauderHD) would understand.. I though it would be best to not only show the Command structure but give a clue as to why it's better to be the boss.. for myself it has always been a goal of mine to diminish the amount of shit that lands on me.
  17. I don't find this funny one bit.. in fact its sort of disgusting.. you are now officially on the top of my schit list.... takes out red crayola.. writes in Maurauder.. J/K ...... ... .. maybe?
  18. I can eat Fifty hard boiled eggs!
  19. Done in, out maneuvered and outplayed, plain and simple. It was a great game IG, all of us in PBK were totally impressed with the tactics and downright well done strategy you guys demonstrated in tonight’s war. It says a lot for a team where which side you play doesn’t matter much. If a team gets together formulates a plan of action puts in the time to practice it and then puts it to action they garner the rewards it produces. . The room had little or no lag, no body was doing the soldier on a pogo stick thing. Just plain good placement of soldiers and straight forward play. Many thanks for a great battle with a good team. All in all I believe Crucible to be a huge success. Granted for the most part the game is run and gun but on more than one occasion the game can be played tactfully and lean towards a strategic form of play. For CbS, odc, FBR, APC, SxB, DSy, AoA and IG the teams we had the pleasure to war it was a great experience. Good luck to any that are still in the mix. For those we didn’t have the opportunity to meet on the battle field hopefully in the future we will get the chance to do so. With the lack of any real version of Socom for the next gen systems Cod4 seems to have given us a good replacement for the time being. The immediate future will see more of it’s inclusion as the creative team has announced. What events lie in store for the far future, who can say? But I have no doubt UF will continue to provide its members a cutting edge opportunity to play what the future may provide with mature, honest and respectful players. Thank you on behalf of PBK as well as my gratitude from the perspective of a Staff member to the entire community of Urgent Fury.. Uuuurahhhh!
  20. I'm going with Wiz, on this one HipChick... (sheesh I can't believe I'm agreeing with Wiz!) .. The burial IMO isn't as bad but a wake or funeral with an open casket for a five year old is just (again my opinion) a bit too young.. the child simply won't understand the implications and you risk some emotional trauma from it. An older child in grade school may be able to handle it but I think a pre-school age is too young, while I agree it's important to learn we all live and die, but at five it's also important they get a chance to live the childhood they deserve, there is plenty of time to learn about life and death later.
  21. LOL "have a tech from Dell come out?" they won't come out.. (I think Micheal Dell's still in the closet) they will send you a box and have you ship it to them.. then they will take out your hard drive slap it in another unit and send it back to you.. give or take 3-6 weeks... that's if it's still under warrantee. If not I can give you the info on a place in Michigan that does Dell laptop repairs at a good low rate. If it was purchased at Best Buy you could let the Geek squad send it in for you.. but they will basically do the same thing, you just won't have to wait for the box to get send out to you. With laptops it's best to not try self repairs. the LCD stranded cable as well as the touch panel cable can snap loose.. when it does it's damn near impossible to get the plastic connector strip back in unless you have the prober tool. Also almost everything that may need fixing on a laptop requires cracking the entire unit down.. pain in the arse.. of course it can be done.. just make sure you do it on a large work surface and lay out everything as you take it apart... sort of like rebuilding a transmission.. it all has to go back together in the right order.
  22. "Thats what I like about these high schools girls, man. I keep getting older, and they stay the same age." of course there is one high school girl I wreally liked... although she's wreally not in High school.
  23. TOO FUNNY!!! That was great! thanks for the laughs..
  24. OJ'ed!! LOL Dude you've been homogenized!

    CONTRACT OUT

Same here bro, I hope things got worked out with the issue you were having. Appreciations for doing what you could to down play the drama (I think we've had more than enough drama lately). Although I know very little of the circumstances I sincerely wish you the best and hope you can continue to be a welcomed member here in the capacity you see fit. I agree game issues should never cross the line into personal or disrespect of one another, I also however believe that for the most part sometimes things get out of control without a person meaning to do so. Whatever the issue was and who it was with and if things can't be reconciled at this time than giving some time to reflect and consider each others position may allow the parties involved to reach a mutual and respectful agreement between them. I believe that most every member of UF (even if sometimes they fly off the handle) hold respect and honor in esteem and the capacity to be considerate of each other does exist. Giving time rational heads prevail, maybe not at first but in the long run the membership of UF do indeed have the humility to eventually think things through and discuss things without any personal attacks. Hoping the best for you Contract. Goat.
