LOL. it's about the charging for weapons stupidity EA was going to try seems they backtracked a bit! hmm they listen to chat forums?? well that's good but how come nobody seems to hear the "we don't want to play with pinheads we don't know!!" complaint?

Played the short demo for at least four hours, easy with aim asist, without aim ass.. on hard with hints and aim assist.. hard without aim and hints.. etc.. Pro's - the graphics are amazing.. it's nice to see a game where the background is there always and in detail for a lot of games the background tends to be pixalated until you move toward it and then it fills in the details.. not so with this game. A wide array of weapons some cool some not but it's fun to use modern weapons in a shooter game. No having to tell your AI's what to do.. they simply follow you, take up good positions and help out without having to direct them. Single play rocks, it was fun and entertaining a good challenge on hardest difficulty and no aim assist. I wouldn't play it any other way now that I've tried it, way too easy on easy. Cons- online was horrendous, maybe it's the EA servers? maybe it's the large map? whatever? again the lobby sucks (there isn't one!) I don't want to play with idiots I don't know! and I felt like I was playing on a IBM 33mhz 2mb ram server.. really bad! First person view.. don't get me wrong sometimes I like it but not when it's always first person.. I feel like I have blinders on.. no peripheral view! I find myself constantly swinging left to right to check my six only to be shoot by someone right in front of me because I was busy having my head on a swivel. Conclusion.. I'll buy it and hope the single play is long enough to get more than a few hours of play in.. as for online, there needs to be a vast amount of improvement before I care to play online. It's a shame this game's graphics rock and I do enjoy the game play but it seems large map online gaming requires a greater investment from the developers for servers that can handle it. That and a ban on sub par connections from players.. It wouldn't bother me if a game came out that required a minimum ping rate to play.. Your connection isn't good enough you don't get to play! Sorry, but I'm tired of being penalized for having a good connection.

Damn I hate the fucking virus makers... Step 1 answer.. when your PC first starts up (Right when it starts!!) hit either F2 or Del (depends on the bios you have) to access your motherboards bios. It may already be set to start the CD first? try putting in the install disk and starting up.. if you don't have a disk.. than forget all this.. you need a disk to do this.. otherwise try the full Restore and hope for the best.

It can back up the whole drive or in the case it is really good at picking and choosing which files to compress and backup. Just be careful you need to scrub those files (check them for virusus) otherwise you may wind up putting the infection right back in after all your work of reformatting and reinstalling. Here's a good wright up on doing a re install the right way.. it's for XP but Vista is pretty much the same. Windows Install oh sorry to answer your question no a restore will in all likelihood not fix your problem.. You need to completly format the drive .. i.e. delete partition, recreate partition, format.. (Just like it's a brand new drive) then install your OS. 1) go to your bios and set the CD drive as the first run device. 2) put in your Windows install disk 3) When asked if you want to repair or install choose install. the rest is sort of self explanatory you will get to a screen that list your partition.. delete the partition, then recreate a new one and choose install to the new partition.. from there it's all down hill as Setup will take over.. you then need to reinstall all the updates, any programs you have, Mozilla, AVG, S&Destroy, CCleaner.. etc. etc. etc.. Get some beer!! it takes half a night to do all this...

Ahhh ......the ole Gay bug Virus.. It sounds like Sophos.. or Gaobot it's also known as Nortonbot, Phatbot, Polybot. new versions of Sophos for Vista have been popping up.. (LOL that's a pun.. popping up.. LOL) they have cool names like "Viagra Vista Virus" VVV http://www.sophos.com/security/analyses/viruses-and-spyware/w32agobotkn.html But to tell the truth this sounds like the dreaded Vundo infection. If you have a Vundo infection. It usually has "friends". (Gay friends!!) In this case it sounds like the "friends" are S-Bot infections and Zlob infections. You cannot just delete the files; the infection will quickly rebuild. It can have rootkit properties; use scheduled tasks; use the LSA keys in the registry to run at every Startup; hook Winlogon in several ways; ..etc You have to kill the core startup entries and then delete the last infectors it installed. You will not see them all in MSCONFIG So you have a copy of your OS? you can clean Vundo or Sophos but it's a lot of work. Also running Spybot, AVG or Higjackthis not in Safe mode won't do a thing to clean these Trojan Worms.. YOU MUST BE IN SAFEMODE so the re builders don't launch. I hate to say it but it's a toss up, might be less work and less time to frag the drive... Note: if you do reinstall DO NOT do a Windows repair.. YOU must do a new install.. you need to completly delete the partitions, than recreate a new Partition and do a FULL format. before installing a fresh OS. p.s. So far I hate Vista.. it seems to be vulnerable and glitch'Y as all get out. If you have to buy a new OS. I would go back to WinXP pro, or if you use your PC for media than Windows XP Media. Otherwise Vista is fine.. Just remember NOTHING IS FREE on the internet.. Every pc I've seen infected with Vundo, was by the owner's error of downloading and installing it.. thinking they were getting something for nothing. oh and if it is Vundo and you want to try removing it yourself than here's the long steps and procedure for doing so.. Hey bud I take it highjackthis.de didn’t help? Ok well like I said you need to go to safe mode and copy the real rundll.exe over the corrupted one which will replace it. It’s ok if you don’t have a Windows XP install disk.. Don’t go to third parties for answers. When it comes to Windows, Bill gates hordes the answers and it's him you want to talk to. ( regrettably!! ) at any rate start here.. http://support.microsoft.com/search/default.aspx?mode=r&query=rundll32.exe+not+found&catalog=LCID%3D1033&1033comm=1&spid=global and then here.. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/832323/en-us again you need to be in Safe mode under administrator use windows repair what you use is file sr.inf or to be exact you need to re-install the latest service pack which will replace the rundll.exe file. Other than that I’d try to see just how you got the virus and a rundll.exe file that isn’t 32kb is indeed a virus. Have you tried to restore to a earlier point? Nothing works? Last resort…? If all else fails…. goat get a copy of win xp. Delete the partition format the drive and start all over again…
