In my opinion, it all comes down to how much respect you have for yourself. If you have to cheat to win... what's the point of even competing? Clearly you are not good enough nor talented enough to win anyway. People who cheat do it because the get a false sense of self-worth in "success." It becomes like a drug (technically it is, emotions are just chemicals in your body). Just like sex-addicts. They do it, even if they are ashamed of it, because during that time when they experience the "rush," they get a sense of satisfaction and worth. However, as a consequence, they live in a false world of self imagined grandioseness. And when that world is shattered or brought into the light, from an outside perspective we see that person as a raging lunatic who isn't conscious of what they are saying or doing. We were given a great example of this recently on the forums here. The bottom line is, do you want to be truthful to yourself or not? Do you want to live in a self-created false world/perspective? Or do you want to live AND exist in a world of truth? Personally, I would much rather to win using fair play because after the fact, I know in my heart that I/we deserved to win. The satisfaction of knowing, on that particular day, I/we were the better player/team, is one of the greatest emotion to experience in any competitive game or sport. I remember what it felt like when I was in WOLF and we on the brink of elimination in 141, we won. We earned our first win of the tournament and handed SWFT their first loss. It only made the emotion that much sweeter by the fact that we accomplished this using fair play. That rush of pure ecstasy is overwhelming and so amazing to feel. If someone is better than me on a particular day, fine. But, I will look into everything possible to improve myself, my talent, my game so that the next time we meet, hopefully, I will get to experience the sweet emotion of a fair play victory. That is the reason why I play and why I play fair.

It is a good thing that the spots clans that left/dissolved (SWFT and iMr) since spring 141 have been filled. Good luck to all in summer 141! Should be just as exciting if not more so than spring! Just be sure to play nice in the lobbies even if Crazy Murphy (or whatever it was on the podcast) shows up again with his rpgs... -

@Mike: I've been counting down the days since that was posted. I've even considered putting a countdown (UF like) on our clan site to help pass the time... I know I have personally read that thread one too many times. I am haunted by a 24 hour mistake can lead to 1440 hour consequence. So yes Mike, I am well aware Thanks for the reminder. All I am doing is asking if it is at all possible for my clan to play in the upcoming 141 tournament... I didn't think it would be like pulling teeth! I know it has been at least a week since I first inquired, and have not gotten an answer from any MW2 UF staff members yet. The reason why I am asking. From my understanding, this is the last qualifying tournament for the tournaments to come later this year. So, if we are not able to play in this one, we will be out for the rest of the year. Our 2 month ban essentially then becomes a 1 year ban. I understand and accept why I was banned; however, the punishment was for two months. I did not expect to be virtually excluded from any UF event until the winter months when the next Call of Duty comes out. Even Shane stated so in his post in our hell week app, "We wish you luck in your endeavor as AieL and will see you this summer." I want to get things sorted out here so we can be a part of such a great gaming community as soon as possible. If not now, so be it.. But I figured it wouldn't hurt to at least inquire about the summer 141 tournament. Perhaps even a compromise could be established? I have several in mind that would be more than fair in exchange for eligibility for the fall/winter games or even access into the upcoming tourney. Better to see if there are any options available rather than say nothing? If nothing works out, we can wait. Right now I am planning summer and fall activities for my clan, hoping UF will play a big part in it. My guys are having a blast at CT right now. We have had great experiences with some UF clans as well as other clans we have never met before. Hopefully we can maintain our current pace in CT and keep up with the great guys (141 runner ups) The Warriors. Hopefully we can give them a good run for top seed as well as a good fight in the playoffs! I need to plan on what we are doing next, so once CT finishes up we can get going on it... whatever it is.

I was wondering if I could get an answer to my question... I'm sure you are all very busy here at UF. My question is: Should I expect to be able to get my clan, The AieL Sept, into the upcoming COD tournament that is being discussed in this thread? Our homecoming, June 3rd, is fast approaching and I am looking forward to applying for our Hell Week. Hopefully we will have what it takes to be considered to be up to par for admittance into the UF community! I've gathered up a good group of guys who I feel fit the requirements and expectations here. Please let me know, you know how to contact me. ;D

These things are trick and all, but I don't see how they make you better? It's not like you need more leverage to push the stick over with a cheater bar I mean, with all of the in-game aim assist in console versions of the COD series and the massive area for hit detention (which sometimes appears to be outside of the target's body)... I don't see how this would make it easier to play when there is already a handicap? To me, it would just take longer to move the stick from side to side...

Thanks Tool! Also, HDMI input to this card from the PS3 does not work because of the HDCP (which protects from recording copyrighted data), the workaround is using the analog component cables.
