Small, petty issues? Nowhere did I see anything of that nature. You are correct in stating there are many different options. UF endorsing Skype is not one of them, and that is why I posted. I do think a combination of Attitude's post and the UF chat room, could be a workable option.

You are incorrect, Last. Every single staff member does not have skype. Your idea calls for UF to advocate using a system that has been frowned upon for as long as it's been around. A simple call or not, UF would be telling people(CR's) to use Skype, and that shouldn't happen. Either Skype is allowed or it's not, there shouldn't be a grey area.

Not an option. We aren't going to promote the use of outside coms. Outside coms are a form of cheating in the eyes of the honorable clans that play here. We've all heard the arguments ten times over, but the bottom line is, using outside coms is not an honorable way to go into clan wars.

Some decent ideas here fellas. I would like to point out that #4 on your list won't work, Last. One little typo would cause an issue. Since the game launches right away, there would be no time to figure it out. Then one clan would be too busy being pissed off about the discrepancy, to concentrate on the war. We have all been in that situation, where something like that throws off the whole team.

I'm kind of in the same boat, General. I start the second job again on May 2nd, so I won't get hardly any playtime in May at all. I was hoping to veg out this next weekend, but doesn't look too likely now.

Fallout 3 or MGS4 would be my reccomendations. Both are stellar games, that will eat up plenty of time for you. Of course if you aren't that into RPG's F3 might be a stretch. Even though it is more of a shooter than it is an RPG.

Mic system- Make it open mic in classic, or make it exactly the way it was. The whole not being able to key up for ten seconds is very detrimental to tactical gameplay. I agree with ID. The player speed os entirely too fast. In the Beta it was way too slow, now it's way too fast. Lobbies, lobbies, lobbies. And PW protected rooms. And the ability to make multiple map private rooms.

SO I figured it out. I just heard my wife talking in her sleep. Apparently it was a worldwide collaboration consisting of wives and mothers all over. They just wanted "One damn holiday weekend where the playstation isn't factored into our family plans". I was as shocked as anyone that my own wife would conspire against me. I don't know if I can trust her ever again. At least they got their Easter wish, I guess.

My list is too long. LOL So I will say, I like everything but, the lack of lobbies, mics, and the way the camera zooms in too far in buildings. Oh and the Clan Challenge could be organized better so teams ready to play are all at the top. Other than that, it's just dreamy.

It could also be your stance. Standing, even if your crosshairs are on him, doesn't mean you will hit him. Crouched your accuracy goes up, and is best when prone. Plus like I said earlier, drop compensation, and leading moving targets, all have an impact.

Hell you should just hit up ID for tips. He's in your clan ya know. Well until I can convince him that Bandit is evil and get him to roll with me!! He is the best damn sniper I ever ran into on CF. Hated playing against him.

I personally love the sniping. On S2 I was a damn good sniper. I haven't been able to snipe very well on S3,CA, or CF. Not on any of the COD games either. When S3 came out everyone and their mom was sniping, yet I just couldn't get it down. So far on this game, I love my long rifle again. I rarely snipe out of the cover system. I am usually crouched, sometimes prone. Maybe it's the fact that the fundamentals are similar to RL again, having to lead people, adjusting for drop more, etc. I couldn't tell you, but I do enjoy reaching out and touching people again.

No, Nem, but a guy in the room we were in last night was talking about it during that map. Needless to say, most everyone kept razzing the guy saying he needed sleep, or was drunk, wtc. I guess he was telling the truth!! LOL
