This to me tells me that we are not getting a brand new shiny car on release like some believe. We will get an updated version but we are in for a sticker shock.

Think about this. His analogy is patching pants. SO if the version we have is so old why would they put a cotton patch on leather pants. Look at what the patches have done to this version, how are they going to react to a different version? His little flow chart is based on assumptions. This is a post from a producer in EU. well so far I have gotten in to a couple of rooms. No pop ups so that is good. the first room I got to play a couple of rounds the disconnected. HOLY SHIT the 2nd room, either the HOST is HORRID or something else is up. LAGTASTIC!! Update.... Had a couple of pop ups, 2 or 3. Also had another disconnect. well back to the pop ups and disconnects. It HAS to be their end, server load or something.

This was yesterday afternoon. I fixed the daylight savings issue but that didn't help. I reset everything more then once, didn't help. I have had 2.43 since it came out, a week or 2 ago? So that shouldn't have made a difference. This is PERCEPTION!!! If I had to guess it almost seems like they used their private address for the data server and that is why we keep getting that pop up. That SHOULD be a simple fix but I would think it would take another patch. OR Their firewall is blocking a port that is needed. This would even be an easier fix and it wouldn't require a patch. IMHO I am not filled with confidence about what we are going to get on release. I know there is a rumor that one person knows a person that is related to a person that works at /6 and they say we are going to get a brand new shiny game on the 14th. I have beta tested SEVERAL games including previous Socoms and the BETA is not far from the release version. I also don't see us getting a ALPHA version to test the servers, why test and escort on a road course when we are going to get a Mustang? And think about this, if the road course can't handle the Escort what do you think is going to happen when the Mustang is on it?

what a surprise, 1.5 made the game worse. I have yet to play a single second of Socom since the patch. Socom confrontation has changed it's genre from tactical shooter to chat room and pop up.

Isn't one of the definitions of insanity doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result? Well that should make ALL Cub fans insane, correct? Every year, "we are going to win the World Series" and EVERY year it is the same old story.

You must not know a lot about baseball if you thing it will be an easy sweep. Granted Javie NO balls, pisses his pants in fear laid an egg today the Sox have 3 VERY good starters that 2 are left handers which TB does NOT do well against.

Well here is something that could help. 2 of the biggest problems is health care and Social Security, correct? Well from here on out make it that ALL government employees no longer have the golden parachute health care or retirement plans. From now on they are on Medicaid and retire using SS. See how fast that shit gets fixed. And by the way I was under the impression government was not suppose to be a career? If it wasn't meant to be a career why do they even have a retirement plan?

I agree with that speech. I would love to see OUR government finally looking out for it's own, US!!! As far as not having respect our country, that is your right, but don't expect us to show you any respect either!

Don't forget what happened to Lidge the last time he had a great regular season and he was in the post season, didn't he implode? Brewers bullpen is a mess and their rotation is inconsistent BUT they have some young and hungry ball players so it won't be a cake walk but the Phils should win. Cubs play the Dodgers, Cubs always seem to have a different team when they get in to playoffs. It will be interesting.

FLA 4 -2 in the 8th - updated Mil 3 -1 in the 8th RYAN BRAUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BREW WINNERS!! Min 2 - 0 7th Sox 5 - 1 Final!!! Probably one of the best baseball finishes for a season in a long time. There is some exciting stuff going on.

I am glad for Philly. I know that Philly loves their sports teams. Personally I am a Flyers fan, already have 6 tickets to the Flyers/Blackhawks game on Dec 26th! ;D As far as your Sig I would rather put someone OTHER then Briere, maybe Gagne or Richards. Briere is a good player but doesn't seem to show up when we need him.

Let's be clear here ... tax the RICH people yes, please do. lets get it back to how it was in the 80s, 95% of the tax money collected was from the top 5% people of this country. So while its obviously not fair to tax someone who makes minimum wage, the same rate as you would someone who makes 6 figures, collecting the majority of the tax dollars from the top 5% of US citizens is not the answer. Digging deeper into the pockets of the rich to pay for the poor is never the answer. Believe it or not a large portion of the rich actually do more to help the poor, privately, than our government does publicly. And holding grudges against those who make 6, 7, 8, or more figured incomes wont solve anything. Along with adjusting the tax structure, we need to adjust our spending, we need to adjust the allowances available to each tax bracket, we need to adjust all things that encourage the poor to stay poor (yes they exist and there are a lot of them), and we need to adjust the people we put in charge of making these adjustments. While I agree to a point, and I am NOT a finance or political knowledgeable person by ANY means, one of the biggest things we need to do is bring back jobs to the US. IMHO we don't provide enough to the rest of the world to keep our dollar strong. If we bring back manufacturing jobs at least we can build products again that can be exported.
