Well for those that chose to download Qore not only have to pay BUT have to deal with ads. I chose not to but could deal with ads on the store or something, as long as it doesn't take longer to login, interfere with gaming or scroll across my screen while online or something of that nature.

I played Defender 2 (Stargate) on my PS3 the other day!! ;D My stepdaughter has that compilation PS2 game with a bunch of Midway games, Robotron, Defender and a few others.

It wasn't as much as the World wanting to use Pro athletes. It was more the US complaining how some countries, RUSSIA ICE HOCKEY is a perfect example if not the biggest reason, were supporting their athletes instead of letting them go pro. The US couldn't compete because our athletes were going pro so we used college players. That is another reason why Miracle on ice was so sweet.

I understand what you are saying too but from my experience I have seen what they will do to try and hold any US athlete down. I played soccer in Australia and I had to work that much harder because I was a "Yank". I was down there when they won the America's cup, I had never heard of it until then. Dam dude you should have seen them. They beat the ALL MIGHTY Americans! Every car had an Australian flag, they were celebrating like there was no tomorrow. It was awesome to see but dam!

BUT we ARE treated differently!! Have you every lived outside the US, been outside the US? ALL other countries look at us differently, treat us differently and so on. They ONLY see what the media lets them see. When it comes to sporting events they will do whatever it takes to hold the US back because in their minds we have ALL the advantages! They will do what they can to level the playing field in their minds! No I am not making excuses for the US women, they screwed up but the little things like delaying the routine and not delaying a routine plays in to the minds of the participant. That makes a difference.

I am sure someone is questioning if Phelps uses illegal supplements or whatever. We are ALWAYS being accused of doping! When I lived in Australia they always doubted our athletes! They all thought our athletes were on roids. I didn't read about the gymnast blaming the Chinese for her faulters. The ONLY issue I had and I said this before she started was the wait for her to get her routing on the Beam. I don't know who's fault that was but that is a joke. They shouldn't have to wait like that for the previous scoring to be done. I understand they have to finish previous scoring but this has happened to both men and women on the US. It seems that when others are ready to go they can go but when the US is ready the judges have a scoring issue and have to wait. Other then that, all the US women went out of bounds on the floor exercise and they made their own mistakes. So they blew their chances even though they would have had to have been perfect to beat the Chinese. Now the advantage China has with the younger gymnast is they avg 76lbs to the US 106lbs. Think about that. That is such a huge advantage in terms of balance alone.

We are not the only ones questioning their ages. There is even history of these 3 reporting their true ages which would be 14 now. I still don't believe 2 of them are older then 12. We have had SEVERAL medals stripped for doping, why are we so HEAVILY investigated and not other counties? I wouldn't be surprised if other countries are questioning Phelps, would you?

I have been watching some here and there. Last night I watched the US Women's Team Gymnastics with the wife and (excuse my French) but there is NO FUCKING WAY some of the Chinese women are 15 or 16!!! The rules have been changed to where you must be 16 within the year the Olympics are held and two of those girls looked MAYBE 10!! Even the old Romanian coach said there is no way!

I absolutely loved the game.... everything about it. Take a pic of your screen while playing. Don't you have the ability to record game play? Just make sure that (if you are in the closed beta) that you do not post it somewhere public. Create an account on a video hosting site and post the link here and no where else.

No the White Sox won in '05. Through it all in Philly they STILL get more support from their fans then most cities that have won a title!

Normally when someone says they want to do video editing they need to look at a MAC. I don't know if they have a MAC version of the software you want to use but MAC has some sweet software for video editing. I don't know what you are looking to spend but I would look at a PowerBook and if possible upgrade to 4GB RAM. Yes 1 or 2 is nice but 4 will really make a difference. If you must stay PC side Dell, Toshiba or Sony would be the brands I would look at and make sure with ANY of them that you can upgrade to a Min of 4GB RAM, hopefully 8.

I like how everyone attributes connection to ping. It really isn't ping it is hops. Hops are the devices that you have to connect through to get to your final destination. And this is ANY device, router, switch or server in some cases. My thesis in college was based on this. When I did my paper my prof said I was fucking crazy and showed him exactly what was going on. He couldn't believe that the data supported my paper. I did a test from our campus to a local server. It should have had 4 maybe 5 hops at most and ALL local. BUT the routing tables had it go from Kenosha WI to Chicago, KC, Dallas, Chicago, Milwaukee and then back to Kenosha. This shouldn't happen. Ping would be accurate if it was a direct connection but it is not. If you REALLY want to test your connection do a tracert to a server or IP address. So say I wanted to test my connection to Goat's, I would give him my ip address and he would, in a Dos window, type tracert xx.xx.xx.xx and he would see all the connection information. That is where you would see the true latency. Also keep in mind for ping it also includes the time it takes for the end device to react. If you ping a server and it is heavily loaded your ping will not look as good.

The schedules are not very similar. The Cubs have had more games against the weak West and the Cards and Brewers have more games against the tougher East. That being said the all 3 are above 50 wins and there is only a 4 game difference so they are right on the heals of the Cubs. -

Believe it or not on Chicago Sports radio that was one of the excuses!!! They said all the day games was draining playing under the sun. LOL I like how everyone now says Bartman wasn't at fault but yet still cannot live in Chicago! He was put in witness protection and moved! And NO Pitt is not a road trip. It is like playing a league softball team! You can go and fuck around, drink your ass off and still win against them. -

Road trips to ST Louis and Comisky are NOT road trips, either are Milwaukee, Cincinnati or Pitt. You beat Arizona when they were slumping and lost to the Rays. You had EVERY advantage to beat the Sox at Comisky but got swept. You had a home series, Sox come in and you sweep, Sox go to LA for 3 games and fly back to Chicago while you are at home all week. Then you have to travel to Comisky, oh boy 10 miles, and get swept. You couldn't ask for a better chance. Every year Cub fans say the same thing, this is the best team we have had in a long time and this is our year. Every year the Cubs FIND a way to blow it and blame it on something, Bartman, Goat, because of how many day games or any number of excuses. Why can't you see that? I am not saying the Cubs are a bad team I am saying they have had one of if not the easiest schedules in the league. -

Cubs are 35-10 at home and 20-26 on the road. AND look at their record against EAST, CENTRAL and WEST. Your record looks good because you beat up on teams like Pit, Cin and Houston and the weak West. Let's see what happens when they have more games on the road where they have to travel and against the East. Sorry but it has been a gravy train for the Cubs this year in terms of schedule. They have the least travel distance so far. Lily is going to get rocked come playoff time, sorry he doesn't have good enough stuff for the playoffs. Cubs will make the playoffs but I cannot see them winning the World Series IF they get there. BTW I like Edmonds but he is done. Yes he WAS a gold glover and has made two of the best catches in MLB history BUT he cannot stay healthy and is a liability at the plate now. Lee is not having a great year in the field compared to his normal D. I am just saying that I don't think the Cubs have the horses to win it all. -
There are ways, especially if you have cable but it is illegal and if your ISP catches you they will remove your service. I do not recommend that you do it. Cable speeds are determined by a bin file in the modem, all your ISP does to increase or decrease your service is send a new configuration in that file. Now some claim that you can change it without getting caught, personally I wouldn't take that chance. I have heard that some cable ISP's are going to start rolling out DOCSIS 3.0 which would give the ability to go to close to 152Mbps Down and 108Mbps Up. IF/WHEN this happens we should start seeing better uploads. I am hoping for 50 down and 10 up.
