  1. Even though Braden is the one that won't shut up about it. But anyways
  2. But remember, it IS the Sharks.. they can't win a series if their lives counted on it.
  3. The Devils-Flyers game tonight was pure trash. The refs were calling absolutely trash penalties, one which ultimately cost the Devils the game in OT. Called for tripping meanwhile the two were tangled up, couldn't get their sticks out of the tangle, and the Flyer fell. Devils lost in the PP.
  4. That's the beauty of sports. When it comes down to the playoffs, shit gets REAL. Should be a great race for the cup this year.
  5. Desperate? How so? It's not secret that the Jets weakness is still their passing game. Braylon Edwards isn't a solid #1 and Jerricho Cotchery is the same thing. Santonio Holmes gives them a solid #1 receiver when he comes back from his suspension. The LT move will always be a questionable one because of the whole Thomas Jones situation, but I don't see it as being desperate. LT is a veteran RB that is going to be able to provide from late thunder when needed. Shonn Greene will only be in his second season and Leon Washington is coming back from a broken leg. LT is going to have a better year than most people believe he will, especially behind that offensive line. The only other move the Jets made was to obtain Antonio Cromartie, and that's not a desperate move at all. They got rid of any secondary players that didn't fit their style of play anymore and added a still dangerous CB to compliment Darrelle Revis. Cromartie isn't afraid to knock someone's lights out, and that's what Rex Ryan wants. And the whole Jets trying to go after Jason Taylor thing is all about the Jets wanting to produce more sacks. For having the leagues best defense, they lacked in taking down the quarterback.
  6. The entire Jets organization is taking the personality of Rex Ryan. Rex is gonna take Santonio and slap him back to Earth. Plus, it was probably marijuana (I'm not sure) that he's going to be suspended for since it happened in the past. It's not like he was juicing
  7. Devils > Blackhawks in 7. (Coming from the biased Devils fan + MB30)
  8. There is no way in fucking hell the PS3 or the 360 have the power to run a game like Crysis. The first one made everyone buy new PC's because it was so powerful, how the hell will a console be able to even handle it for 5 minutes
  9. You have to remember that MLB Network, ESPN, etc, are all a bunch of crazy anti-Yankee prick. Seriously, look at Peter Gammons. We all know he's pro-Boston, it's always been like that, but he chooses the Red Sox EVERY YEAR, no matter what. Also, ever since 2008, everyone has been all over the Rays constantly. Same can be said with the Rockies and 2007. Everyone finds a reason to pick against the Yankees, no matter what it is.
  10. Remember, Chili, in order to use Netflix on the PS3, you need to put in a Netflix DVD and run it from there. It's not like 360 where it works right off the system
  11. What was that? Noob pick? Oh, okay
  12. Last I remember, if you download the UF Toolbar (Bottom right of the forums next to the giant porn ad), there's a section on the toolbar that says Clans and had a list of a majority of the participating UF clans.
  13. Oh god, no. No proof.
  14. AL Central: 1. Twins 2. White Sox 3. Tigers 4. Royals 5. Indians AL East: 1. Yankees 2. Red Sox ** 3. Rays 4. Blue Jays 5. Orioles AL West: 1. Angels 2. Rangers 3. Mariners 4. A's AL MVP: Miguel Cabrera (This guy has to win one someday) AL Cy Young: Justin Verlander AL Manager of the Year: Ron Gardenhire I'm not favoring the Tigers for anything, but Cabrera and Verlander are probably in the top 5 for hitters and pitchers in the AL, probably even the MLB. --------------------------------------- NL Central: 1. Cardinals 2. Brewers 3. Reds 4. Cubs 5. Astros 6. Pirates NL East: 1. Phillies 2. Braves** 3. Marlins 4. Mets 5. Nationals NL West: 1. Rockies 2. Dodgers 3. Giants 4. D-Backs 5. Padres NL MVP: Albert Pujols NL Cy Young: Tim Lincecum (...again) NL Manager of the Year: Bobby Cox Halladay is going to be a beast, but Lincecum is still going to dominate in a less than average NL West. It's going to be one of those divisions where 85 wins gets you the division, again. As far as MVP goes, there's really no point in putting anyone else until Pujols retires. Should be a great season. I think the races in the AL and NL East are going to be pretty intense. The Rays will be left out again because I still don't think they have that intensity they had back in 2008 as well as a far less superior staff than the Yankees and Red Sox. In the NL, the Braves are much improved and I think they'll hang around for the majority of the season, but the Phils are still the powerhouse. I expect almost identical seasons from the Marlins and Mets (they might be exchangeable), but I just think they're a long ways away from getting back into the race for the East. I also think with Bobby Cox retiring, the Braves have extra determination to get back into October. In the Central, it will always come down to that last week in the season. While everyone is sucking on the White Sox for their pitching staff, I still believe most of it is hype (just so Chitown fans have a LITTLE to cheer about). Tigers will stick around until they look at the calendar and see that it's time to choke again. NL Central is the same story. Cubs and Reds will underachieve and the Brewers just don't have the rotation to keep up with Carpenter and Wainwright. The Reds have a chance at competing for Wild Card, but as always it's up to injuries and players living up to their names. Aroldis Chapman is going to be a bust. The AL West is going to be a lot more one sided than people think. If any competition goes on, I think it'll be between the Mariners, Rangers and Rays for the spot BEHIND the Red Sox in the Wild Card race. While the Mariners have upgraded, I still don't think their offense is good enough nor is the support behind the top 2 in the rotation. The Angels middle of the lineup is good as always, and while they've become more of a modern power team, they still are one step above the rest. Of all the teams in the NL West, the Rockies are the most rounded team. They constantly have that will to be on top and it always benefits them. The Giants just don't have the offense to compete, which sucks because their top 3 are pretty beast. The Dodgers will fare better only because of the Giants terrible offense. I don't think the Dodgers have a chance at winning the west, but I can't vouch for the Giants until they upgrade someone besides Panda.
  15. When will this guy realize that he's stopped being funny after the first video?
  16. I see Lakers vs Cavs. Even with the Lakers slumping a little (won tonight), they're still the ideal team to beat. The Nuggets are on the downfall and the Jazz just don't have the man power to beat them. I think the Thunder are just too inexperienced to face the Lakers in playoff territory. Cavs aren't going to be stopped. Magic might be able to but the Cavs have bulked up and are going to another level above the rest in the East. Atlanta just doesn't have the defense to stop the Cavs and Boston is old.
  17. Um.. Chili, you can. lol The day AFTER the new maps were released, they added all new maps to ALL game modes. So many people were complaining about the Stimulus playlist that they quickly added all maps to every playlist so you're not forced to play random game types. If you want to play every map HC S&D, then just choose the HC S&D playlist and you can play any map (as long as everyone in your party has the new maps, otherwise the maps will never show up)
  18. what's up with the inconsistency in caps?
  19. No, not anymore. It was just the first few hours that the maps came out. Like chili said, they released the maps BEFORE the update, which screws things up.
  20. Wasn't that article on The Onion last week?
  21. Saw that yesterday.. my impressions are simple: Bailout: Awesome. Apartment complex reminds me of RB6 Vegas. Salvage: Scrapyard with snow. Doesn't look like I'll like it too much.. I hate Scrapyard. Storm: Vacant meets Downpour. Should be pretty interesting, and yeah, most people WILL be in that warehouse
  22. The demo was released a few days ago.. it's awesomeee
