This game is going back today....... I was extremely disappointed and couldnt shut it off fast enough. I have tried to play it 4 times now and each time I hate it even more. Waste of $63 in my opinion................... I'd gladly cut somebody a deal here on the UF forums, if not, its heading back so I can take a "trade in" value beating.

My original launch day Xbox 360 NEVER had any troubles..... And maybe it was 5 times as many due to there being 5 times as many more out there. -
Thats all Im trying to say...... Let the Crucible stand as CoD4's evaluation tournament but allow it to reflect its set up and gameplay, not Socom's. Chili, sorry for hi-jacking the thread because that wasn't my intention. But I should simply back away now cause I can already see the direction its heading....... Banging my head against a concrete wall sounds more fun at this point.

It was a common problem that MANY clans had. You can try and chalk it up to whatever you want but some we're accidentally thrown, some thrown and then denied, some thrown due to a in game glitch, and some thrown our of stupidity (martydom perk). My concern was just about removing issues during the league. Not being "for or against" a no nade tournament.

I dont agree with it being awful.... I actually like the gun vs gun battles. I just wish there was a way to completely turn off grenades so "stuff" doesnt happen. Im here to tell you it DOES accidentally happen, and it CAN be done by anybody. I almost cost us our run in the Crucible due to a accidental nade kill in the semi-finals.

Im thinking that since the Crucible is over I might drop my 5 stars and start the "prestige" thang...... And have it back full by "Crucible 2 - Belting Sequoyah".

Why not take what was learned from the first Crucible and tweak it a bit. Same game, just on a different console. I liked the changing of the settings each week. I still would like to suggest removing perks and allowing the 1 default grenade.

Im still shaking as I type this...... I can't stress enough how cool OGC was to play against. Sincerely a class act of guys. The battle was intense and well fought. iLL GaMeRS won Wetworks 4-0 & won 4-1 on Ambush to take the title. My thx to my whole clan for working & practicing together, my thx to OGC for playing a respectable match, and my thx to Tow & Sniper for supplying us with such a great arena to compete in. This was a big win for our group and we truly appreciate being able to compete here at Urgent Fury.

nope, it works...... We had a few guys in our group do it as well. It was kinda cool cause 1 guy sent in our iG logo and they made "real" stamps with it. It can be done.....

CoD4 has brought the graphics and gameplay........ Socom has always had the "community"........ I think what IW has done is made Slant Six & Zipper step up and I thank them for that. There is NOBODY on this planet that wants to regain their love for Socom then me. There are enough games out there where developers can pull from to put out a top notch product for ANY next gen system.

lol, please...... The "community" is the ONLY thing Socom3 & CA had going for it. And if "that" was the bar you'd still be over there playing it. The potential of what Socom should be has been pushed BIGTIME by CoD4 and they (Slant Six & Zipper) need to deliver. We now know that a "community" can be made perfectly and it can and should be combined with great graphics and gameplay. There is no need for a player to "settle" on a game without both. So yes, the bar has been set with CoD4 and in the end WE as gamers benefit.

lol, something like that Tow. That guy ran us out of UF 1 period with lie after lie and sneaky PMs that he never admitted to you he sent. Oh well, that was then..... Im happy where this is right now and I appreciate what you & Sniper have put together for us to enjoy.

It was just a matter of time..... Even a stopped clock is right twice a day. I agree completely..... I didnt allow my daughter to watch the evening news (rape / murder / shootings). Sure is was all reality that they'll have to deal with someday but I agree with the above part of Goat's quote. Let em be kids, that time goes fast enough. There will be plenty of time to deal with this other junk later.

A 5 year old does NOT belong at funerals. They dont truly understand death and what it means. Explain that the person is in heaven now (the whole better place looking down on them forever speach) and will always be a part in their lives just on another level. The memories a 5 year old should have of their special grandparents will be in all the photos they shared together. Just my 2 cents and Im sorry if it comes off wrong, but this recently was a big issue within our "extended" family and I couldnt disagree more with bringing children to places like that. It accomplishes nothing.
