I agree with most of what you said...... Warhawk was a flop that at best could be considered a "I'll sign on when I'm bored for something different" type game. RB6 was a better game on the 360 due to lobbies & setting up matches. I agree that the PS3 version wouldn't have made a good "UF type" game. Out of EVERYTHING I've played the Call of Duty4 beta is one of the few that have me "wanting" to sign on and play again. Granted, I'm not trying to replace Socom here but I do think its a reasonable "filler" game that you could put out there for a few months until Confrontation drops. GRAW2 is a great game..... It was even better 7 months or so ago when it originally came out. Unfortunately due to the different release dates between systems it didn't "catch on" like I had hoped. Thats a game I lived on with my 360. And about FPS....... I never liked them until I played CoD2 on the 360. It was the first FPS I could play where I didn't feel that my vision was hindered. I still don't care for other FPS games but I'm loving CoD4. Just keep a open mind, I think Infinity Ward has a winner here with CoD4. And, if you combine a community / website like this, with a game like that it spells for nothing but FUN !!!

I know this is the "house of Socom" but I was curious if any thought was put into filling the gap from Socom CA to Socom Confrontation with a new game. I don't know how much more you can milk out of Socom CA with more and more people finally going "next gen". I also don't know how many of you were included in the CoD4 beta on the 360 but I think most will tell you its a great game and I personally cant wait until it drops Nov 5th on the PS3. Something I have come to realize with "next gen" gaming is that places like this are needed to keep clans on the same page. With "next gen" systems all your clan members tend to get spread out playing so many different games due to a lot of games being so fun and pretty to look at. So, I would love to see something new done (even if it wasn't CoD4) to carry the UF fire further towards Socom Confrontation instead of milking more from a outdated title like Socom CA. Whens the UF going "next gen" ???

No! The game itself is...... "nothing special". As a matter of fact, alot of the people I have talked to arent really that impressed with the game. Now the online features and set up are second to none. Bungie is definately the front runner in online gaming and other developers could learn a ton from them. Unfortunately, my personal opinion of the game itself is that its junk. All respawn, shields, non-stop jumping, 20 hits to down a person, lasers....... BLAH !!!! Its not my type of game at all. Do NOT buy a PS3 for this 1 title. It's not worth it........

The original post wasnt to talk anybody into loving Halo3. It wasn't to talk anybody into buying a Xbox 360. It wasn't to kick off a Sony vs Microsoft debate........ It was meant to share a GREAT feature in a upcoming game. I dont care much for Halo3 either, but I am open enough to appreciate something so sweet (no mater what game its on). Expand your mind!

also..... I think because they have got more involved, less people try to truly understand what it is you guys are doing. I constantly see posts here about "only leaders being active" on the forums. Well, I think the majority of soldiers wont (and aren't) taking the time to find out what this version of the UF is about. They just want to "show up and fight" in wars and dont have the time or desire to learn all the rules of this format. Just my 2 cents.... In UF 1 when all of us easily understood where we were fighting, who we were fighting, and why we were fighting these forums were flooded with complete clans, not just leaders. I think 75% of my clan was on here daily during our run in UF1

This is simply amazing!!! Can you imagine if games we were actually "into" had this feature? The ability to record in game footage, then after your match go back and analize who did what, how the other team did this or that....... I agree with Chili.... Keeping it in the states made it more...... uh..... familiar for everybody. Not sure how to put it, but knowing the states, the borders, ect.... made it easier to follow and understand.

Im a true Michigan fan.... always have been. But, I couldn't tell if Michigan was "that good" or if ND was simply "that bad". I think ND fans are in for a looooooonnnnggg season.

Here is a GREAT tutorial on recording. Not sure if it solves your problem or even helps you out but this got me going. Sure its for the 360 but the ideas are the same. Also, Studio 10 is junk and has KNOWN issues. I had the same problem and it got so frustrating I just quit trying to make movies..... Also, I was told that "Windows Media" can be used to edit captured video. Chances are you already have a copy of that on your PC. Havent tried it though. Release date on both systems....... Nov 9th And I dont know if you have researched it much but the beta is awesome. And it got E3s award as best game according to Game Informer magazine. I think people here would LOVE it as a "fill in" game suring the Socom CA to Socom Confrontation downtime. Just a suggestion. There is no doubt in my mind that anybody owning a PS3 come Nov 9th will have this title soon after.

Could you imagine having something like this for CoD4? You know, to pass the time until Socom Confrontation drops? You guys are gonna love how pretty CoD4 looks and plays. Shame something couldnt be done here for a game like that. ....... or can it?

We're a group a "next gen" adult gamers. We have members who are active in both the PS3 and 360. Right now our focus is playing GRAW2 (and a few other titles) We are really looking forward to Call of Duty4. This looks to be a HUGE title for the PS3 (at least until Socom Confrontation comes out). We have never had the need to go out and "recruit" but we are always looking for people who want to be a part of the [iLL] GaMeRS family. Swing on over....... http://www.iLLGaMeRS.com

GRAW2.... love it! The single player is a fun game that you wish was longer when its over. Online is where this game really shines though. All the game modes.... 16 player co-op missions.... Funnest time I've had online since mid-Socom2 era. Its a must have until Call of Duty4 comes out. Warhawk, I'm sure I'll pick it up due to it holding 32 in a room and having a larger gaming group to hang out with.... but its not that "great" of a game. Coming from a Socom gamesyle online life, respawn sucks. Its chaotic and fast paced with "so-so" weapons. Sure, it might be worth the $40 just for a chance of pace, but if your looking for this to be a game your clan actually plays, look elsewhere. I had the beta and I think I played Q-bert more.....
