Okay, so at first I thought it was another type of 'AD'. But it's pretty cool that you can click the background and go to these games! Never saw that before and I really like that ;-)

Yea I do, and I'm just as confused as you are. My stereo system does all the sounds from my PS3 and the wireless only puts the 'talk' to my ear. Nothing plugged into your USB of your PS3 will change your stereo from outputting the sound unless you change it in the PS3's settings. Am I correct everyone??? Oh, and when my wirless is OFF...the 'talk' also plays through my stereo.

I was thinking the same. But THEN...they DO get DLC one month ahead of PSN ;-)

Wow! I know this is mostly a gaming community, but we all go out to the 'movies sometimes' don't we? Well I'm just ecstatic about waiting until next weekend for 'X-MEN: FIRST CLASS'! Great job MIKEJAXON and Uprising! But I think you guys should've made this move a long time ago, like when you 1st asked me about who did our sigs (about 2 years ago? Wow time flies ~ lol!). I love how people are starting to take interest in their clan, enough to make their homes more managable and organized. Your old site 'was organized' but your new sigs at that time really didn't 'click' with that style IMO. Now it's time for these darn 'game developers' to make games with Clan Management because that is what gaming is all about and not some single kid who has A.D.D. and drowning redbulls who cannot stay still while the rest of his team finishes up a round that 'he himself' chose to run out and die on ~ lmao! Yea. I'm noticing a sad trend where alot of the great people don't get mourned properly. I expected a whole day of people showing clips of these stars when they were great. Okay, lets get BACK ON TOPIC. [uF] Now owns the Patent for TacMap Tournaments. The only thing that is 'pending'...is [uF] getting the License to post on his wall! Lukin-: This is not true. Infringers (who would copy the invention during the 'pat. pend' process), may be liable for damages (including back-dated royalties), seizure, and injunction once a patent is issued. Protection would be back-referenced from the date of application of the filing of the claim. SHADOW: You are confusing copyrights & trademarks with, "licensing the use of...". They are not the same thing. [uF] is licensing 'the use of' TacMap Tournaments. And you missed my point; "BG seized the opportunities that other inventors (Xerox's GUI and IBM's OS), did not capitalize on". So in my anaology of BG, it would be like [uF] saying "...you need our license to run a 'TacMap Tournament'"... And for those who think this is an 'ATTEMPT'? This is NOT AN ATTEMPT. When a "patent pending" has been granted, it is 100% valid until the full issuance of the license. The expressions "patent pending" (sometimes abbreviated by "pat. pend." or "pat. pending") or "patent applied for", refer to a warning that inventors are entitled to use in reference to their product or 'process once a patent application has been filed'...but 'prior to the patent being issued' or the application abandoned. The 'patent pending' marking, serves to notify potential infringers who might try to copy the invention, that they may be liable for damages once a patent is finally issued. There is no difference from the time this claim became 'pat. pend'...and the day that the license is actually issued. So maybe what some of you need to understand is that this patent is good to go already. The 'patent pending', is just a formality of a long and sometimes tedious process but makes his filed claim vaild NOW. In 'this' case, [uF] saw that door. I wanted me to point this out in the thread alot sooner than this, but I didn't think it needed to be brought up since the good deed has already been set in motion. Sorry that the 'pat. pend. wording misleads people, but "prior to issuance" of his patent, it's already a valid and licensed invention. [uF] are only waiting for the paper, to plaque and put on his wall. ...[uF] already has ownership of 'the use of' TacMap Tournaments...

Me too BLACKCLOUD-- . I would really love to beast you on that game but I just don't have much time to play almost any game let alone that one. MC is one of the games that started me playing with others and I can see it's come a long ways and still around! Man, all those quarters I gave to get on and beast kids while we waited in theatres before a certain movie would start. My girl then (RIP) even loved that game. Definitely going to add it in my arsenal, but can't say when that will be. Now that we are on Twitter and things, I'll let you know if anything changes bro ;-)

No disrespect buy FYI: These questions of patent only apply to any pre-existing documented ownerships of said invention(s). If there are none, then UF Ownership has an excellent chance of completing this process.

Need I further remind us that Gates & Jobs both lifted the ideas for the GUI & mouse from Xerox PARC. The OS Bill created was a rip off from CP/M - when he sold IBM an OS, he really didn't even have one. Although Bill never created anything, to this day he gets all the credit. Why? Because he patented their Windows system software & hardware! "The Leader of anything and Owner, always gets the Credit", so this was a good investment that Shane & Company did! You have to realize that there is always a potential for anyone to steal someone else's ideas, inventions or material...much like CHAOS TACTICS did when _________ (the guy who took UF's TacMap ideas over to CT when he left ~ his name does not need to be said in this community anymore!) mimicked one of the parameter names that TOW & SN1P3R-1 thought up. So again, I think that this was a damn good move on Shane and Owners parts to have this finally done and have a right to call it their own. If people want to improve on things, they should do it from scratch and not take from other's and 'then' improve on someone else's idea(s). This strategic move was warranted, with what has happened once already in this community.

Prane, I've noticed whenever I start 'comparing' games that I miss what the game I'm playing with was meant to be like. I know it's hard not to compare but almost every game that's put out lately, is to out-wit or out-beat the competition. So if one game developer puts out a game with an ability to shoot from a hiding spot...best believe that another game is going to come out with that same addition or similar. This is where I think Zipper lost focus on alot of things that many of us loved about the Socom series. They listened, but (IMO) to the wrong people. Notice how many games out there have NO clan management system. Only Socom does, but you would think that other game developers would follow Zipper but have not. Socom's Campaign mode was one of the reasons that I even started playing video games. The Clan Management system was the other because that made it easier to hook up matches with only your friends or choice-picks on the same side and etc. But I still haven't completed the campaign mode yet becaues I just don't have a 'feel' for this game. I have a hard time getting my men to be stealthy and they always initialize a firefight instead of us being able to get a mission completed with limited or no engagement at all. 'That' is what sucks ;-(

I hear ya man. I have the XBL since the beginning, but have only used it for sports games and offline gameplay. Because I'm usually on the PS3 mostly, I've not bought any games for XBL ;-( Going to go out today and see if I can pick up a few...

Guys: We HAVE to try to keep meeting on the forums though! This truly should be looked upon as a wakeup to make time for our gaming priorities. We have also had alot of New Forum joiners because of this.

Whenever the PSNetwork DOES go back online...I'm probably just going to just 'stare' at the home screen for a bit, unless someone pinches me. It will have to absorb that we've even gotten the PSNetwork BACK before I will be able to move past the stare-point (aka: 'state-of-shock') ~ lmfao!

Man, I still have yet to even get a MOVE. Never saw a reason to stop using original controllers...
