It is only boring at this time because it has very limited access and functionality. If and when this goes live and is incorporated into games it will be great. I was just giving the current status and that is that it is boring. The only thing to do is walk around get in a circle jerk and most everyone talkin about smokin weed....LOL..That appears to be the the only social skills we have now and that is talking about weed.

Yeah I got on Home last night and only 16 on....LOL....Either it was to late for peeps or they have not sent out all the codes yet cause it was still dead in there.

I have had home since the original tests went out months ago....It was pretty boring as the most people I ever seen online was maybe 15-20. I have just downloaded the new one and about to install and get online to see if there is anything different and if they finally have more than 20 people on. I would have to guess that once they go live with this, it may have it's uses.

LOL...actually this was not posted before. The other thread is a post about those who had or were getting the code for the Beta. This thread claims the Beta is out, which it is not. The codes can be had, however the Beta is still a couple weeks away.

Well I will just say I agree with lafromla1 and pathogen. Before we all want to hand out Blue Ribbons for integrity, remember you can only see what has transpired here in the public section. I for one was originally glad to see they were handling it with as much dignity as you can in a situation like this, however all that changed with just one post for me in the CR section.

The reason I ask, was that it was a screw up in my store. They were not suppose to put 80 gigs out until Monday after the sale went off and well someone evidently didn't get that memo. They then tried to blame me not comprehending the ad, instead of admitting it was their fault. I guess it took corporate jumping their ass and telling them they screwed up to finally admit it. The assistant manager called to apologize after he was so cocky on Sunday. I bet his ass is a little lighter today.

Yeah give it a try rooster. The only problem is, was there 80's on the shelf when you bought yours. If so then you have a valid complaint.

I will share what happened with me on this subject that I posted on our forums. Over the last several weeks, my wife and I were discussing putting a Blue-Ray player in our bedroom. Then last week Wal-Mart had a sale, which ran thru June 15th. In the sale paper it had the following ad. On Sunday evening on my way home from a local medical facility (that is another story), We had to stop and get some prescriptions filled. I had also remembered that the sale was to end that night and we decided that we would call our local Wal-mart, to see if they had any PS3’s left, as that is what we were going to buy as our Blue-Ray player for our bedroom. It just made the most sense to do it that way. It can continually be updated with firmware as well as be a back up to my daughters PS3 and mine as well. When my wife called, she asked if they had the PS3 in stock as well as was the $100 gift card offer they had in their ad. She was told that yes they had the offer and had both the 40 GB and 80GB in stock. When the wife got off the phone and relayed that info to me, I was like huh? The 80 went off the market a while ago so they could do the MGS 80GB ps3. I thought to myself, that there was no way were they including the 80gb MGS bundle PS3 into the offer. We get to the store and I go over to the cabinet and to my surprise the MGS 80 gig is there. I motion for the clerk to come over and say, “I would like to get the 80 gig with the gift card that they offer in the ad. His response was ok. He then takes the limited edition ps3 to the counter to ring up. He asks if I want the 28 dollar extended service plan and I say yeah go ahead and add it. He then states he has a problem. He was not prompted for a gift card. He then say he will just void the transaction and bring us to customer service to take care of it. Just as he is about to void another sales associate comes up and asks what the problem is. The kid proceeds to tell him about the gift card issue and the second associate says it is not good for the 80 GB unit. Now I will tell you this. I knew that the 80 GB was not included in this offer and had the sales associate said this, I would of just said ok, then get me the 40 GB at 399 plus a 100 gift card which would mean I got the 40 GB for 299. I would have been ok with that as it was my original intent. The sales associate however did not apologize for Wal-mart’s mistake, but said everything short of calling me an idiot as that the ad did not include the 80. He says look they only picture the 40 unit. Now since he wants to attack my intelligence the battle has just now begun. I then tell him first we called. We did not inquire about an 80 with the gift card offer, but that it was offered up to us in the convo. I then pointed out to him, that their own add said “ANY†Blue Ray player and that would be the 80 gig as it is a BLUE RAY PLAYER. Again he did everything but actually call me stupid in not interpreting the ad correctly. The original clerk said c’mon let me take you to customer service, as he knew I had a valid point. Once at customer service, all associates agreed tat I should get the offer as it was in the ad as “ANYâ€. The problem was they could not do an override unless given an approval by management. Ok no problem. The original associate says yeah it will be no problem as the asst manager on duty was pretty cool. The call was made to get the asst manager to the customer service desk. While we were waiting, we seen this asst manager head back toward electronics and about 7 minutes later he comes up front. His demeanor as he walked up front, spoke volumes. I knew he had already been to electronics, had spoken to his number 1 asshole back there and he was going to do everything within his power to not sell me the MGS bundle pack 80GB PS3 for 499 with a 100 gift card to net me the PS3 for 399. Sure enough that was his stance. He said that the picture shows the 40GB and the 80 are not included in the offer. I once again point out the ad says any, but this dick fails to comprehend the English language and only understands pictures. He says he will not give it to us. I said ok I will have to have a number to call the main office and I leave without making a purchase. Monday morning the wife calls their corporate customer service line and files a complaint. At first they to want to give her a hard time. The wife said that as soon as she started to state our problem, the agent rattled off the ad from memory. This said to her and us that either we are not the only ones to complain or that the asst manager had already filed a report on this incident, because one of the first questions asked to my wife from the agent was at which store did you have a problem, before asking her what the problem was, so she may have had the report in front of her. After my wife stated our case and gave all the info, the agent’s attitude changed and she was apologetic to us and said that another rep would contact us within the next couple days. In the meantime, I felt really good about this and decided, I didn’t want to get screwed on this deal and have them sell out of the 80 and not have it to offer to us. No one else in our area had them so we went back and paid full price of 499 with no 100-gift card. Today was vindication day. At 9:30 am, the assist manager, who basically said we were wrong and called us everything short of calling us idiots for not interpreting the ad correctly, called to apologize as well tell us they were wrong and that they would honor the 100 dollar gift card. To bring the system back in, have money refunded and then have it sold back to us with the 100 gift card offer. This asshole had egg all in his face, so much so that when I went back in and CSM had no idea what was going on and had to call this assist manager, that he would not come up there to handle the transaction. He knew that it would be I who would have the smug look on there face today. LOL. In short, I got the 80gb PS3 MGS Bundle Pack PS3 for $399.00. Oh and what was the most legitimate argument I had for this. I asked that if they were going by the pictures and not what the ad said, then they better of not sold any other Blue Ray player with the 100 offer other than the Panasonic the had pictured. At the store when this was asked, I got no response other than a deer in the headlights look. On the phone when this was asked of the agent, this is when her attitude changed.

Hey guys my post was not to be a jab at Junk. It was not a pot shot at all. Was just a word of advice that I probably should of worded in another way. It was like be careful how you say something as it may get misinterpreted. It was just a heads up.

Junk, just a word of advice. You of all people should know that you should pick your words carefully. To say that if you get the necessary teams, you will take that to Tow and "DEMAND" a tac map tourney, is not even close to the right way to say this. We would LOVE to, but clan numbers wanting to play SOCOM: CA here at UF do not necessitate a TACMAP tourney. You show us 16-20 clans playing SOCOM here at UF that want a TACMAP tourney, and we'll make it happen. Otherwise, we're going to only run Black tourneys until the new SOCOM comes out. Here is a quote from the man himself, so if we can get at least 16 UF clans or get a few new clans to run through a Black Tourney and have them pass the evaluation just maybe we can get a Tacmap Tourney before SOCOM Confrontation. I would rather have 16 UF clans because we know what we are doing and we can just get this thing started, but I am NOT knockin any new clan. So here is what I will do, I am going to make a list in this thread and when we have 16 UF clans say they are down to run a Tacmap Tourney we can take this to Mr. Tow and demand a Tacmap for SOCOM Combined Assault. ;D ;D Clans who will play 1. How do you like it? I pay around 170 a month, 3 lines, no roaming anywhere in the cont. US, unlimited everything. One is a business line. First, the $150 is what I payed for the phone and I absolutely love the phone. I have never been big on bells and whistles for a damn cell phone, but since I was in need of a new phone and I got his one for about $200 dollars off, I said what the hell.

With Verizon and got the Voyager about 2 months ago. Hell I couldn't pass it up at $150.

The game in my opinion is horrible. The controls suck. You movement suck. As affliction stated you can get out of auto aim. Hit detection is horrible. We had guys who were damn near invincible playing. He would lay down and 3 guys would be shooting him and he would kill all 3 in 3 different directions. It was like he would have to sustain up to 4 battles before dying. It was just ridiculous.
