it is normal. if the gov't were to spend a thousand dollars on these, it's worth it. if our boys/girls are over there fighting, and protecting our freedom and our peace, then they deserve nothing less than the best. I didn't say I agree with it, I just said it was normal. Actually I totally disagree with this practice. This is why the federal, state, county and city governments are hurting right now. Blatant misuse of spending. Why in the hell would you spend 200 dollars on a hammer when you can get one that does the damn same job for 20, 30 or 40? Why spend $250 for a flashilight that you can buy another that will be just as effective for 20, 30 or 40 dollars. A flashlight is not life or death. It is not body armor. It is not a weapon.

Normal tax dollar spending here. Pay 250 plus for a flashlight that you can buy a comparable one for 20. No different than then 200 dollar hammers and 150 dollar screwdrivers the government buys.

Why I do not condone his actions, the whole sanitary question is laughable. I mean come on as they said in the interview, more unsanitary things happen at restaurants that you never know. Besides that, anywhere you live where a hurricane may hit, they tell yo to fill your tub with water, just in case you have to use it for drinking water. Its no big deal. Again I think it was juvenile as it cost the manager her job and while as much as the kid said it was not her fault and what could she do, in the interview, she should of put a stop to it. Maybe she couldn't leaver her post of counting the tills, but she didn't even tell the girl that was filming to tell him to get the hell out.

Since this is the season of giving and I am in the giving mood, I will give you a chance with this Hippie. I have no idea if you will be able to get a hold of your CR in time for tonight's meeting, a meeting it appears as though you and your team have no idea about. He himself has not responded to a single post with the information we have requested from him. I will give you the chance right now to let me know if you would like to attend this meeting for your team. Hippie there are several posts regarding the playoffs in the CR section. As a matter of fact a couple of these are addressed to your team and your CR. I would suggest that you contact your CR ASAP and have them read the CR section, address what needs to be addressed and let you guys know what is going on.

In a UF sanctioned event, that would in my opinion fall under taunting. There is no need to do that except to say, look at us we planted the bomb and are going to kill ourselves and you cannot do a thing about it.

You said they had more compliment players than what I gave him credit for and named those players. Again though a I stated it was not the point the point was the sum of the whole. Not just a couple of players.

These are 2 totally different backs who played in 2 totally different situations. Emmitt throughout his career was complimented with all the weapons to make him good. First and foremost, he had one of the best offensive lines ever assembled. They created holes that a blind one legged man could gain yards in. He had a quarterback that was consistent. Aikman may have not been one of the top 20 quarterbacks of all time, however he was consistent. He made plays and was able to manage a game with the best of them. They then had Irvin, Harper and Novacek. They kept teams from putting 8 and 9 guys in the box to stop the running game. Irvin drew a double team on most occassions and most linebackers could not cover Novacek. This opened doors for Harper with a lot of 1 on 1 coverage. There was also a great fullback by the name of moose Johnston. Not only a great lead blocking back, but a offensive weapon as well. Just enough offense to where you had to play him honest. Dallas also had a great defense. This allowed the offense more time on the field. In essence Smith had the whole package on his teams. He was a straight forward runner. A runner good at getting to the hole. A hole that was there on most of his carries. He was not fast by any means, however his style was a perfect fit for the cowboys. Tell me where the hole is and I will get there. Then there is Barry Sanders. What the hell did he have to work with. Absolutely nothing. No Quarterback. No Offensive line. One good receiver his whole career in Herman Moore. They also had no defense. This kept the offense off the field. Sander was both quicker and faster than Smith. A good number of his carries, he was hit prior to even getting back to the line of scrimmage. Sanders had more yards in negative carries than anyone in the history of the game, yet he ranked second all time in yards prior to retiring. He retired when he still had several years left in him. He walked away from the game. Had he of stayed and played the few years he had left in him, he definitely would be the all time leading rusher to this day. While Emmitt was good in his days and situation, he is not in the same league as Sanders. I could only imagine how many 2,000 yard seasons Barry would of had if he played for the Cowboys during the period that Emmitt played.

Before I went to snopes to find out if this was true or not. I decided if that this story was false, I would not of posted it here. I think that in this time of the year, we need stories such as these to remind us, that we all can do something for someone in need. Whether it is to help them out for the holidays or in this case to help them out emotionally and spiritually. This story is true. There are a few minor inaccuracies, however they do not take diminish the story in any way.
