I have started a new clan on the starhawk beta and Uncharted 3. I will take anyone who is willing to join. Hey UF and clans who run they own websites... I recently came across this site: http://www.startssl.com/?app=39 which offers free basic ssl certs. ssl certs are the biggest rip off on the internet- people make tons of cash on these things and they can be generated in seconds, and once the creation process is automated it costs these companies next to nothing. there have always been free options (cacert.org, self signed ssl certs, etc) but the problem with those is that they are not in any of the web browsers root cert store- but apparently startssl's are, so they work as any other cert you would just pay for. FYI, I have no interest or holdings in this company, this is just a public service announcement. Running forum sites as most clans do it's always best to use ssl to encrypt authentication, and most clans don't have a lot of funds to pay for an constantly renew ssl certs, especially with some of us already paying for forum software.

Sinners and Saints have gone retro. We've been in limbo over the past year and a half with all of the "shooter" titles that have been released. We've tried numerous games from Battlefield to Call of Duty. We've been extremely frustrated with all of these games because they lack so many things that we as a clan look for in a shooter. So, we've gone retro and returned to Socom: Confrontation. Don't get me wrong we still have hopes for some future releases like Spec Ops: The Line and Ghost Recon, but Socom always has been and always will be our home. If there are any other clans or players that are looking for a good game on Confrontation feel free to send me a friend request and join us in game.

You heard correctly, we tested this several times this morning and this evening. Private matches will now properly hold up to 18 members, regardless of elite/non-elite. Does this now mean that Unrest is the next MW3 tournament, instead of another Wetwork? Would be awesome to get into some full-size clan battles!

Maybe I'm missing something but I don't see any of the Community Clans signing up for any of the MW3 Tournaments. I understand about the inability to run more than a 4 v 4 but this only reminds me of when we would have smaller Tournaments running in between the large ones (ex: Summer Blowout, even Horsemen but without the prizes and etc.). The idea is that we support our Community in ways that we can. So if I'm missing anything can someone enlighten me as to why we can't create Tournament-play with a Tournament-Hosting Community? The reason this baffles me is because I see many of us playing on this game, daily...

You can also listen to Episode 93 with Harvard Bonin, Sr Producer for StarHawk. If you are in a clan be sure to register your clan so that other clans can get to know you, there are several members that like to visit other clans site's, set up scrimmages, etc. Well that about wraps up the Tour... Mission: Fun games of Socom Night: Saturdays Time: 7pm central until Game: Confrontation Last week after a great midnight mass friday saturday we hosted our room as planned before the mass returned friday.This is an open invitation to all who wish to play some old school fun maps or some new school maps even.We had around 15 of us or so last week showed up.Even a couple different clans out there.Though again this saturday we shall see who shows for some old time fun of shooting someone and them staying dead.Always a plus.As well as being able to hear your team mates.

Welcome to the Sons of Anarchy Gaming Clan. We are a mature clan and all our members must be over the age of eighteen. We are primarily a competitive clan, but we like to host weekly "get togethers" and have special rules matches. This may range from knives only to RPG's only. These matches will be posted under "FSU" in the events tab, with the rules for that current match. Make sure and sign up, so we know how many to expect. We play different genres of games but our main focus is on the FPS. Ranking up in this clan depends on your IN GAME PERFORMANCE, but website participation is encouraged. There should be no reason why you can't at least give a shout once a week to let us know you are still alive and kicking. We pride ourselves on the quality of the gamers we have, not the quantity. As we grow we will be hosting "gamebattles" matches and competeing against other clans. All "new recruits" or "FNG's" will be given a short term probationary period where you will game with us and make sure this is where you want to be. In short have fun and dominate the competition! You log on to play your favorite shooter game. This seems to be true for all shooter games not just BF3. You log on and none of your friends or clan mates are on so you decide hey I'll just jump in a random game. Ever notice that the game is rarely a close game. One side is dominating and the other is getting raped. Most cases you or at least I'm usually on the sucky team. Seems nobody even tries to win at all. They'll be guys camped out on rock not even thinking about helping there side win. Pisses me smooth off. I usually end up just quitting. There are a ton of casuals playing. The casuals by far out number the guys who are serious. The serious guys are in clans, take the game seriously and truly want to win the game. Here's what happens throughout the evening. The serious players like me get lucky and jump into a game a find a winning team. Well nobody likes being on a losing team so a few flip over to the winning side (the casuals) or they'll leave the match because they get tired of losing and they can't flip over because the side is full only to get in another server where they are still on the losing team. That little cycle keeps happening until pretty soon one side have total dominating players and to other side losers. So eventually they casuals say screw it and stop even trying to win and there only playing for themselves. So if you don't have your clan on playing or your don't have friends on to play with you'll probably end up on the losing side of the ecosystem.

We know this has been a very tough tournament for everyone as Socom has been quite a challenge, we will be posting up the video shortly of the match. Great job to all of the clans that endured through the trial and tribulations that Socom brought your clans. The title of this tournament could not be anymore fitting.

Alot of you have been trying unsuccessfully to get your existing clan members or even new recruits onto your COD: Elite Rosters. Many chalk it up to it being the website. Well, it's not that at all. The problem, is that these members have NOT FINISHED THEIR REGISTRATION PROCESS! Get them to complete the process, and you'll see the INVITE TO CLAN button!
