This was never a debate. I got involved when someone made a post about his beliefs and got dog piled by those who didn't agree with him. Trying to silence him.

 

I'm strong and knowledable enough not to be silenced. I've said more than once, "got dirt on McCain, then post it". The dirt was never delivered. Why? Maybe there isn't any? Keating 5? John Glenn who endorsed and campaigned for Obama was part of the Keating 5. The Keating 5 had five politicans involved, 3 Democrats and 2 Republicans, and only one politican testified at Keating's trial, John McCain. And Keating served prison time.

 

Instead there is only accusations of 12 different types against me on a personal level. Also threats of death against those in Florida who don't vote Obama.

Well to get BACK on to the original topic I choose McCain now. Funny thing is if you asked me a month ago I would've said probably Obama. But I now choose McCain for the simple and selfish strategy "what can this candidate do for me"? I don't like the fact Barack wants to take what little money I have and give it to someone else who won't go bust their ass for a tiny wage like me. You know what fuck that guy. I hope he starves, I want no part of helping him. Yeah I know there are some good people on unemployment my neighbor being one of them. But with this economy in shambles he can't get a job. His area is managing car dealerships and repair centers but nobody is buying right now. With Obama's planned tax on business owners making over $250,000 or $200,000 or whatever it is that is just gonna screw me over worse. Last week I sat down at a bar with some of my teammates on my men's league team for hockey, most of them are small business owners. Its interesting to hear things from their side. You have the guy making $200,000 next to the guy making $20,000(me :'() a year. They told me straight up if that tax goes through the first people to feel it will be the guys at the bottom of the totem pole like me. My pay gets cut way before theirs will. I already make shit I can't afford to make less so its McCain for me.

Thank you. There's a pew poll out, I can't find it on the internet, but it states on positive and negative stories on each Presidential candidate:

 

Fox news is 40% negative stories and 40% positive stories on BOTH candidates.

 

MSNBC is 60% negative and 30% positive about McCain. 74% positive and 14% negative about Obama.

 

Plus, I'm not talking about a whole network. I'm talking about a "commentater" that talked down to and lectured Hillary Clinton for almost 10 minutes on national TV and the purpose of the "lecture" was to tell Clinton to drop out of the race to make room for Obama. Here's the video, if you can say that Olbermann is a serious news reporter after watching this, then we can just agree to disagree (be sure to watch all of it, there are some real pearls in there):

 

 

Look as long as you like, but you will never find such a bias on ANY OTHER NEWS NETWORK in the United States. If you are getting your news from Olbermann, you are getting your news from a far left wing fanatic. Maddow isn't much better, and Chris Matthews is the guy with the "thrill" up his leg when he hears Obama speak.

I'm gonna keep it real:

 

1) I watch Fox network news, because when I want to hear news about the Presidents, they are always in McCains favor.

2) I watch 'more of' MSNBC, because Fox is so biased for McCain, that when I want to hear something positive about Obama...they give it!

3) Most of us in this forum keep saying that Obama is going to be taking 'their money'. I find this passable with maybe one or two of you guys, but if Obama says that 95% of 'WORKING' people WILL GET A TAX CUT...how is it that they are taking YOUR MONEY to give to the Middle Class? I'm just keeping it real, in the sense that almost 'everyone' in this thread is saying that Obama is going to be taking their money which means that most of you are above the $250,000.00 income bracket?

 

I have no way of knowing what any of your incomes are. I just find that 'most of you' who say that Obama will be taking your money, is hard for me to believe. I make a 'damn good living', and I 'know' that I am not in that bracket. I'm just keepin' it real here, and those of you who know you're not in that bracket should do the same. It's 'one thing' to be upset that he will be taxing those above the bracket, but its another thing to lead us to believe that he will be taking your money because you are in that bracket.

 

Points #1 and #2 are FACTUAL, and anyone who says that FOX is not biased...is lying. MSNBC is biased as well for Obama, and FOX is biased for McCain. Even when FOX is forced to be fair about Obama, the reporters seem to be 'pissed that they have to make that claim'. There 'are' a few exceptions for the most part of both networks, but in all reality...'IF YOU WANT TO HEAR GOOD POSITIVE THINGS ABOUT McCain, stay on FOX. The opposite applies, if you want to hear positive things about Obama. Thats just the way it is. Hannity has it 'out' for Obama, and Colmes is the most Passive person in Obamas favor, that he just needs to shut the hell up, because he does not counteract Hannity one bit!

Is it the 95% of people or the 5% of the people that are already paying a majority of the taxes already? Will those companies stay here and create more jobs or go across seas where it is cheaper? An amount that is not even very good for a small business. Obama claims that most small businesses don't make that much. BS! Successful small businesses may make that much or just over. You take that money out of their pockets how do they improve? How do they pay their employees and keep moving forward? They can't! No one will want to take the risk to move forward just because the Government is keeping them down, just o make everyone EVEN.

 

Like I said before the taxes and redistribution of wealth won't bring poor people up but bring the working class people and the Small Business Owners DOWN to their level. In a nutshell that is Obama's plan.

Ok, I'm just going to take a portion of this and tell you what I think. Obama did not invent redistribution. Redistribution has always been the way the Government balances things. But they've been doing it from the Top to the Bottom, and somehow, it never trickles down far enough. Obama wants to try it where it is deserved the MOST, with the Middle-Class. Without the M/C, nothing gets done. If you reward the M/C, they take their money and they BUY THINGS. They buy Cars, Houses, things that the big Corporations manufacture. When they 'buy things', it is an incentive for the economy. It pays the Big Corporations...and they hire to make MORE THINGS for us to BUY. All in a nutshell!

 

I 'do' see things from your point of view. It's just that in seeing things done this way, I cannot see 'why' we have the highest unemployment rate, jobs still laying off and etc. It just 'seems' that if the way things are NOW, these issues would not be here. BUT THEY ARE HERE, AND THE WORST THAT IT HAS BEEN IN A LONG TIME! So I have realized that, if things are bad from following this current method of redistribution, then we should try another way of approaching it. We deserve to at least try!
