You put your w**d (uhm, cough) in there! Well, my mom bought me two "crystal" serving dishes with the $12.95 tags still on them. She remembered me saying I wanted them. The problem here is that I needed to find very specific serving dishes back in August to give as a gift for a friend's wedding. (Which I found and then she [my mom] helped pay for!?!?!?!) I didn't want these for myself! And then she gives my sister and my brother $200 cookware sets. Always getting screwed. Man it sucks being the oldest! lol I actually thought about asking for the receipts so I could get the $ back for them and go buy myself something, ANYTHING else other than that crap! Now they are sitting in my trunk so that I can return them. Hey, I just had an idea! Can we turn this thread into a swap meet? Anyone need any "crystal" serving dishes?

Ok, so let me give a little more detail here ... My husband logged on Sat. night to play Socom and absolutely no sound. Then he and two other clan members decided to play CoD because Socom sucks and everything was perfect. Then on Sunday, I thought I'd give it a try and same thing happened to me. No sound on Socom, but I have sound on any and all other games/movies. Socom is the ONLY game where I have no sound. I can talk and I can hear talking (except for proximity chat), but no other game sounds can be heard. And yes, I checked the in game audio settings and all is good there. Am I looking at dumping the update and re-downloading? And if so, how do I dump the update?

everyone is playing Socom and saying it's working on and off, but noone has mentioned a lack of sound in the game? Am I the ONLY person around here with NO sound? I tried playing on Sunday, but when you can't hear bullets raining around you, it really, really sucks. I don't need anything else to detract from what little skill I do have. What do I do to get my sound back?

My point EXACTLY! Why should I have to hold the select button to run while the scoreboard is up? I shouldn't!!! If it ain't broke, don't fix it. And I don't even have sound ... petty? I think not. I don't know how else to explain that when I buy something, I expect to get what I paid for and what I was promised. Period. If you call that petty, then so be it. I call that reasonable, at the very least. Hound, we'll just have to agree to disagree on this one.

No, No its not. Ok, well then I guess I should have said ... Unless you like subpar pieces of trash video games that don't work properly, Socom is dead. For instance, I expect a product to work out of the box. Aaaaand not be a "different" game with the Socom name slapped on. And I expect the second or third or whatever number patch this is to correct the problems without a bunch of b.s. I've lost interest and don't expect anything but this game to continue to play as it has in the past. I don't really know how Slant Six can even show their faces. They make promise after promise but end up with failure after failure. And if you don't agree ... the fact that they couldn't even get the transparent scoreboard with the ability to continue to walk/run proves it. You have to hold down the select button to move? Are they serious? This is definitely not the Socom of past.

I also use both Mac and PC and because I am more familiar with PCs, I think I prefer them. But you are young and probably adapt better than I do. Besides, if you don't like the Mac, you could always run Windows software and voila! you have your PC back.

Naw not them, but I remember some clan here that was bad ass hell, but I think they eventually grew up! I think it was Jy.... naw my mind went blank again lol It's one thing to talk trash and another to actually BE trash. Good thing y'all were just big talkers.
