  1. I like the fact that you will have multiple wars within a short time frame and the fact that you can opt in and out. Keeps the clan interest up! Nice!
  2. Happy Birthday!
  3. My guess is Astro is a Stonecold cronie. Astro comes into this with only 1 post under his belt and starts giving input on a situation like this? Ughhhh, the ignorance is dumbfounding! Git back over to yer kneck 'o the woods.
  4. Quite honestly, I didn't have an opinion of CT, Havoc, or Stormwatch one way or another even after all that went down. I didn't know them and choose not to judge them based on the situation with UF. Mainly because it didn't have anything to do with me and secondly because there are always 3 sides to a story (yours, his, truth) and well, unless you are directly involved or a witness to, it is hard to really know the straight up, unbiased facts about something like that. So, I choose not to form any kind of opinion. Live and let live. Well, now I can honestly say that I have formed an opinion about CT, Havoc, and Stormwatch and it's not very good. While the video was a bit comical, it and the posting by "Stonecold" has an air of desperation, childishness, and general lack of originality (can anyone say "British Banana"?). How can anyone take a gaming site run by vengeful people like that seriously? Things like this only ruin credibility. Not to mention how pathetic it is that people can't just move on. First DV8 and now CTHavStorm. Tow, Sniper, you guys do a great job of biting your tongues and taking the higher road. I don't know that I could be so civil and restrained. Actually, I KNOW I couldn't be. Your silence speaks volumes about you both and UF. If only the "others" would "rip off" your attitudes instead of your creation ... UF, they just might get somewhere.
  5. I don't know what's up with this STONECOLD cat, but I haven't clicked on the youtube links he has posted everywhere. Something shady going on?
  6. I am so sorry you have to have this mutilation done! LOL! I'm 36 also and had to have all 4 surgically removed by an oral surgeon. And you see what my experience has been like. For whatever reason, God has decided to bestow upon me the "Murphy's Law" curse and anytime I experience something major (i.e. my wedding, the birth of my children, wisdom teeth being violently removed from my face, etc.) something INSANE always happens. It's just my luck! Now we have people like my husband and my sister who had theirs removed and had NO problems with VERY LITTLE pain. So, maybe you won't have such a bad time of it. Maybe some people who had it done with no problems should post so Sgt. isn't so freaked out.
  7. Hardly play it. Just doesn't have the appeal as the older Socom's. You can't get anyone into a room together without a crapload of hassle. Maybe one day, SOMEONE will listen to what the people want and do it up right.
  8. Ok so what do you do when NONE of the meds work??? After surgery, I finished off my husband's hydrocodone along with another Rx of it that I already had. It only knocked the edge off. Oh and I was taking it every 4 hours on the dot along with Motrin every 6 hours. When that was all gone, I went and got MY Rx filled and it was for the Percocet. And that crap makes me ill. I get real dizzy on that stuff. (Only took it for 2 days because I felt so bad on it.) Again taking it every 4 hours on the dot and Motrin every 6 hours. NONE of it even touched the dry socket pain. The only thing that helped was when I went back for my 1 week check the surgeon put this packing in there that had been soaked in some clove tasting funk. It helped but I tasted that crap for days. I couldn't decide which was worse, the pain or the taste of that stuff. Today he gave me Darvocet, so we'll see how well that does. I don't do pills, at all. Suffer through migraines all the time because I hate taking meds, but I will tell you, this crap makes me a believer in pain meds and now I see how people can get addicted. I'm going to try the Darvocet tonight. I hope it doesn't make me sick. :-\ I would really like to get some good rest tonight.
  9. Sooo, back from the surgeon's office and he said they see this swelling sometimes about 3-4 weeks out from surgery. He said a piece of bone or something like that is in there and it's like when you get a splinter, your body tries to get rid of it and it festers up. He gave me some antibiotics and pain meds, told me to massage the area and it should come out on it's own. If not, he'll have to cut it open and drain it. He told me to come back if it got any worse. I asked what does "worse" mean and he said, "Oh, you'll know!" FREAKING GREAT! And I thought the worst was over! Damn the wisdom teeth!
  10. OK, I AM OFFICIALLY FREAKED OUT! :'( How long did you let it go before getting it taken care of? This has been happening for a week now, so I'm hoping I am catching it in time??? If they have to sew something into my mouth, I am NOT going to be ok with that! I'll know in just a little while how bad. I am hoping a little antibiotics and I will be good to go. Keeping my fingers crossed ...
  11. I'm with you Philly! I just had all 4 removed about 4 weeks ago. It was EXCRUTIATING! Don't believe anyone who tells you it is no big deal. The are lying to you! Oh and dry socket bites big time. STILL have some major sensitivity and hoping this crap heals soon, cause I am a big baby and I do not like pain. And then last week, my jaw bone started hurting and has for the last week. Well, this morning, I woke up to a swollen cheek. Called the oral surgeon and they think I have a subperi-something-or-other infection. Heading back in this afternoon to have it looked at. I'll pray for you if you pray for me!
  12. I agree with Bandit 110%. Don't even get me started on you thieves around here. To be honest, I'm a bit shocked at the whole "I'm entitled" mentality that seems to run rampant in today's society. Well, at least now I know who's wars I need to be recording! Thanks for the heads up.
  13. Sides, go to the store and look for things to buy to "play" with the eye. Aquatopia is the fish tank and it's just a few bucks. And if you haven't tried Trials of Topoq, we like that game as well. We are at one level where we literally have two people trying to get the ball through the maze and miss by like one second every time!! It's so frustrating, but fun at the same time .. and a good work out!
  14. No worries. And I'm American, not Canadian, and I still don't get the problem. lol!
  15. Nice!
  16. I get the "hotness"!!! Do you have your ps3 eye hooked up to your ps3? That's all you have to do. Hook up the eye and then launch the fish tank, tori emaki, trials of topoq or whatever other game/interactive wall paper you want to play. It's that simple. Although I don't remember if you have to "install" the ps3 eye before it will properly work.
  17. Tow's always getting to do cool stuff! I'm jealous. :'(
  18. Nice work, guys! This year, we did a spider web with spider and wolves howling at the moon. I didn't take any pics. :'( I used one of those little saw thingies you get with a kit. I'mma look into the dremmel for next year!
  19. I hadn't thought it was a problem. Until I thought about the mole getting killed right off the bat. Our mole wouldn't have been TK'ing, just giving away positions and using prox chat to inform our own clan of strategy. Then someone brought up the mole wouldn't have that chance since he would be tk'd right off the bat anyways. I guess it wasn't necessarily a "problem" per se, but more kind of pointless.
  20. Good to hear. My clan was just discussing this last night and wondering if y'all realized the problem there. Always on top of it, you are.
  21. Aaaannnd, something else to think about ... I don't know a whole lot about all this Ayers b.s. BUT, based on this thread and the McCain propoganda, I was under the impression that Obama's contact with Ayers was while or shortly thereafter the "Ayer's bombings" occurred. And then last week, I find out that Obama was in fact 8 years old when Ayers went on his little bombing spree. So, once again, I feel the need to point out a conveniently, never mentioned, fact which put all of that into a very different perspective! When I heard that, it got me to thinking ... how many of us have "friends", "associates", "acquaintances" or however you characterize people with whom you have "hung out with" or "been a part of the same group" or whatever you want to call it, that aren't necessarily "good" people? Maybe people or a person who does things, believes in things, stands for things that you don't do, believe in, stand for? I know I have had people in my life like that. I've even had people in my life that I would call friends that do things that I find utterly deplorable, things that I personally would never do, yet I still call them friends. Does that make me what they are? No, it doesn't. All that to say, when I apply the thinking that people are using to assassinate Obama's character and reputation to myself, I can't agree with that thinking because if I'm not guilty by association, why is he? Just something to chew on ...
  22. Just a little FYI for everyone, Obama will continue to reward companies that support American workers. He has already been a part of a bill in 2007 that rewards companies for just that. Companies would receive a tax credit for maintaining more workers in the U.S. than outside of the U.S., providing good benefits for American workers, supporting employees who serve in the military. So please don't be led to believe that Obama is about outsourcing. His past record shows just the opposite and this very thing will be part of his economic policy as president. I almost forgot to also mention that he has plans to end tax breaks for companies sending jobs overseas.
