I don't know what everyone here is getting squeamish about. We always welcome clans to put out the word that they've got some available space on their rosters. I would think the UF community is a great place to put it out there. What we particularly don't like is when a lone gunner will post that their services are available. That's when we see 5-10 clans stumbling over one another to get that person to try out for them. LOL That's always funny...but not the environment we want here in UF. So good luck, cBF...and any other clans looking to bolster their roster. SOCOM's here....everyone just wants to play!

Clan members here should realize..... If you do NOT get your roster in by the deadline TONIGHT, then your clan will not be participating in the Black tourney. It does not get much simpler than that.

As you all prepare for your first BLACK tourney for SOCOM: Confrontation, I'd like to impart a little reminder to each and every player that can read this...and HOPE that you pass this on to each and every player in your clan that aren't here on this forum. THIS is Urgent Fury. This is not any other community out there where quality is sacrificed for the sake of population or perfection is touted but never achieved. But please keep this in mind: Urgent Fury can only lay the groundwork for a great tournament. It's up to the CLANS that participate to make it enjoyable for everyone. By "everyone" we mean both your own gunners and your opponents of Black who, after Black is finished, are no longer your enemies, but rather, your PEERS. THIS is the defining aspect of Urgent Fury which you will be hard-pressed to find anywhere else. This is a COMMUNITY. Win or lose, we do it with honor and integrity. Win or lose, we do it with RESPECT for ourselves and respect for our opponents. The veterans here can tell you up and down why they're STILL here. LOL...I'm sorry, my extent of knowledge of Pokemon goes as far as knowing the main character is some yellow mouse/cat. Otherwise, that's about it and I'm not familiar with the various characters' names.

Sometime tonight the schedule for the upcoming Black tourney will be posted for all to see. The schedule will be broken up into two divisions with two sub-divisions in each one. UF: BLACK RUBY North and South UF: BLACK DIAMOND North and South The full schedule, INCLUDING ALL MAPS FOR THE *SEASON* (a UF first for Black) will be up tonight after 10pm CST.

[a ] Admiration has been removed from the UF Black Diamond Division as no one from their clan had contacted me yet about Clan Rep access. [+30] will be taking that spot and now all 32 clans of the two divisions are accounted for. Clan Reps should already be getting things going in the Clan Rep Section. NEXT WEEK we'll see the first wars of the Black tourney. Schedules will be up within 48 hours.

So.....most clans have already chosen which military group will represent their clan. So which one is the most popular with the UF Community here?

Hey everyone.... I noticed on the SOCOM clan roster online that it offers the clan leader the ability to PROMOTE officers. I also noticed that it seems that the number of officers corresponds with the number of people in your clan. Can anyone shed some light on this? What does promoting someone do? Does it change their insignia? Does it allow them to do things with the clan that normally only the clan leader can do? What's the amount of officers you can have?
