  1. Broken record...lol...We'll never see this patch.
  2. Is all I got to say. It's the money you could be saving with GEICO your right hand. Oh and I have no idea what any of you are talking about.
  3. Papi dummied up and said this news blindsided him. He said he will get to the bottom of what he tested positive for and he will not hide. When he knows, the media will know. We'll see what happens though, because even though the test was anonymous all positive testers were supposed to be informed. Could be a false report, but the MLB PA will likely never confirm or deny unless the list ever goes public.
  4. Manny Ramirez and David Ortiz tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs in 2003, lawyers with knowledge of the results told The New York Times. The two were key members of the Boston Red Sox World Series teams in 2004 and 2007. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=4366335
  5. Working for me right now.
  6. That is....AWESOME lol!
  7. REDRUM It worries me the context in which she used "all the issues." :-\
  8. Wow. Buehrle just set the Major League record for 45 consecutive batters retired after going perfect through 5 and 2/3 innings. He lost the perfect game and no hitter in consecutive at bats tonight after walking Alexi Casilla and giving up a single to Denard Span. Talk about in the zone though, wow.
  9. I'd like to think that the members of Urgent Fury would respect each other enough to to FUCK WITH THEIR EMOTIONS like this. *breathing heavy and slow to big breath and ... Socom.com is full of douche's and GB lovers. I, I guess I just thought more of the friends I have here. That they wouldn't do that to us. :'( A gun in the face an you wanna be friends. UH .....NO! I could only Imagine how you reacted when you first found out that thier was no Santa Clause ;D There's no Santa?! You just ruined my Christmas.
  10. Dude he served his time, a harsher penalty than the average for the crime, and now he is just trying to put his life back together. I'm a dog lover, but I mean for fuck's sake he didn't murder people. He didn't have a gun go missing and someone get shot with it. He didn't commit Vehicular Manslaughter. He fought dogs. People act like he is Gacy, let the guy be. He isn't even fully re-instated and won't play an NFL game until at least week 6 and people are up in arms? He may not even sign with an NFL team (although that is an unlikely situation). I never liked him as a QB, but he did his time and for once I agree with T.O. Suspending him further is like kicking a dead horse.
  11. Taking your Madden NFL experience even closer to what you see on Sunday, Madden NFL 10 has a revised injury system, changing the way you approach in-game injuries. We're not talking about you getting injured while playing, like straining a thumb ligament on the d-pad or pulling a hamstring from celebrating too much. We're talking about your players getting injured within the confines of a Madden NFL 10 game. Just like in a real game, you won't know the status of an injury right away. When you see a player limping around or acting injured in other ways, you'll have to call out the trainers, who will come out with all-new animations, to take a look at him. Coaches have always said that players can play hurt, but they can't play injured. Once your player is examined, you'll have to decide whether he can tough it out, or if he risks even greater injury. If you decide to let him keep playing, his rating will be negatively affected, based on the severity of the injury. Plus, he'll run the risk of making the injury worse. The system has been retooled to follow the logical consequences of players continuing with injuries. For even more realism, injuries occur more often on special teams plays because everybody's moving at top speed. An injury slider was also added so that you can tune the injury risk to your liking. And nearly every single injury type was recreated to replace unrealistic injuries like "bursitis," "dehydration" and "Cat-Scratch Fever." To top it off, the injury cart will roll out when your player needs a ride into the locker room! So make sure you stretch properly before each game, and, barring some injury, we'll bring you more Madden news next Monday.
  12. It didn't get me. I see this posted on the Socom.com forums daily lol.
  13. No doubt we've severely underachieved, but you have to look at our injuries. We have only started our projected opening day lineup TWICE. Once on opening day and the other earlier this month. For us to be able to take over 1st place in the ladder portion of July is huge after playing .500 ball until this hot streak. Aramis Ramirez's return has been a huge morale boost and he is starting to get his stroke back. He makes everyone in that lineup exponentially better and more comfortable. When Soto comes back it will just aid this already clicking offense, if you recall he was on fire when he went down. The bench players are really contributing too. Jake Fox can absolutely RAKE, he hit .409 with 17 home runs, 53 rbi and a .495 OBP in 45 games at AAA Iowa. Since coming up he has made the most of his at bats too, though I don't understand why Lou won't put him behind the plate, Koyie Hill is flat out awful with the bat. Even spot starting on the corners and pinch hitting he is a very valuable asset to this team. The only real position the Cubs can upgrade at is 2nd base, though Fontenot and Baker have been doing pretty well platooning of late. The rumors of moving Bradley are pretty hard to believe, but I would love a Hoffpauir/Bradley for Adam Dunn trade. Our starting pitching has carried us this year and despite Lilly's injury we're still one of the best starting pitching staff's in the NL and perhaps MLB. Randy Wells has been simply awesome since he came up and has cemented his role in the Staff, Zambrano has been solid, Harden is figuring it out and Lou is starting to figure out what situations he does better in, Lilly has been awesome, Dempster is coming back this week and he is a gamer, and Hart has been nice as a spot starter. Honestly our most dire need is another lefty in the pen. Marshall is our only lefty, rumor has it we may go after George Sherrill and add a right hander in Chad Qualls. We also signed a no-risk, high-reward player in B.J. Ryan. We only have to pay him the league minimum and if he can regain his velocity in the minors he could be a major addition. If we can shore up our bullpen by the trade deadline, I think with the team finally getting healthy we can make a serious run. Soriano and Bradley have improved their average's almost 30 points of late and the offense has really awoken. I just don't see the Astros hanging on anymore and the Brewers don't have the pitching to really compete for the NL Central crown. I think when all is said and done it will be a two-horse race in the Central between the Cubs and Cards (who only have one series left against each other).
  14. Just throwing this out there, although it's a half inning premature at the moment. 1st place Cubbies!!!
  15. Rogues had him on his bench too in the RVN fantasy baseball league lol.
  16. 2010? Yes, this is key. Did he specify a year in the post? Hahaha. All jokes aside, IF it does come out in August (I'm writing July off already) I'm predicting it will be at the end of the month.
  17. So is grammer. Pffft. Was that intentional? Nope. Tool owned himself LOL.
  18. LOL quote of the day!
  19. DLC is 1.6; 1.5 is ladder system, fixes to gun damage, and others.
  20. All that statement does is buy them time to release it in either July or August. It is filler news that will get everyone hyped up thinking they might release it in July. Reality is we'll be lucky to see this by the 31st of August...
  21. Yeah a chode is a dick that's fatter than it is long. Commonly used to make fun of a short fat person too: "Hey he looks like a walking chode."
  22. My sentiments precisely.
  23. LOL. As a Cubs fan I'm happy for Buehrle. I tuned in to the final 4 innings when I got the text from ESPN.
  24. I went to tune in as I always do for both shows and "Sportsnation" was on. According to Comcast's guide, this will be on all week in the time slots for ATH and PTI. Anyone else a little pissed?
  25. Not when you're injured for half of the first-half and have only 6 home runs. Hamilton was invited, but because he just returned from the DL he turned it down in favor of the All Star game. I assume he only wanted to participate in one of the two.
