you're able to fit 8 gig in a desktop depending on your motherboard. With a laptop, installing ram can be a hassle, but the more expensive ones come with 3-4 gig. To your laptop issue, if you're only using it for basic use, video editing and not doing any serious gaming, 2gb should be plenty. I've always had luck with HP and their computers are very reliable. Your best bet would be to find a new laptop on ebay, it's an easy way to save a $100 Hope this helps

Playing a real guitar is much different than playing guitar hero or rock band. A lot of people think that since they are good at the game, they can pick up a guitar and start playing it without a problem. Thats kind of why best buy is closing down all of the circuit city's and opening instrument stores in several states. If people buy a guitar or drum set and think they will be able to play it instantly, they are gonna be mad.
