Highjackthis.. last resort, it's going to take some time to create the logs... post them and then get answers but its worth the wait and for me its better than reformatting, reinstalling the OS, getting the ton of windows updates and drivers, and losing all your files in the mean time.. but hey that's just me.. Usually 90% of the time the are downloaded.. it’s the old “nothing is free†method. You download some “so called†free software which when executed opens a back door for a hacker to control or remote spy your pc. Ok so enough with the definition.. how to rid one. What anti-virus software does he have. Norton and McAfee (unless you keep paying them money for updates) usually stop actually protecting your pc yet keep on running and hogging your system trying to get you to pay them before they actually do anything. Get rid of them they suck… . Download AVG free from http://www.filehippo.com/ and run it, its free.. it updates for free, and its awesome. It’s likely to find it and lock away the corrupted files in a virus vault. Spybot Search & Destroy is another good choice since it may not be a true Trojan and may be a spyware variant. For the really nasty Trojan’s or “Rogue Infiltrators†as they are called. Anti-virus programs may not do the trick. For these you first need to find and identify it. The one good thing from Norton is symatics free online virus scan. Start here.. http://www.symantec.com/security_response/index.jsp it will find any problems but won’t fix them unless of course you pay them… but identifying them is the key and is all you really need.. no reason to pay them. Once its identified check google it and see if there is any removal software already available.. again don’t get suckered into paying for it. If all that fails or you indentify it but can’t get rid of it.. then it’s a challenge and there are some people that live for the challenge of stubborn Trojans. The best one is http://www.hijackthis.de start a thread download the highjackthis program and post your log file (read the instructions first on how to do this) from there they will walk you through things.. great guys that are extremely good at helping.. as long as you ask nice, do the work yourself and follow what they tell you to do as best you can they will be more then happy to help and probably find a bunch of other problems or issues to fix along the way. That’s it.. nothing else can help… you need to be at the PC that’s infected and only you are your friend can do that.. Trojan’s are a pain in the arse.. but thankfully for every asshole out their there are few good guys fighting them. The beauty of software is what can be written can also be erased.

yeah my last sentence was more of a general statement for all games and not so much for KZ2.. I haven't seen that much of what I would deem "out right cheating" either... I was just sort of saying that if they had to make it non ranked to bring back co-op play against bots.. then that really doesn't bother me that much. It would be nice if they would have made it so you can earn badge points but only if the bots are set to the highest difficulty but It's not that big a deal.

I wouldn't have TK'd him because he would have lasted that long before getting voted for me to Tk him. back in the old versions days PBK use to use a known password (cold) was it.. we used others when we wanted a full private room. the cold password we gave out to our friends and allies so they could join the pass-worded room.. sure it wasn't that secure since if you knew us you probably knew the password but it served to help cut down on the occasional idiot stumbling into the room while still letting friends who were not in the clan the ability to join in. not sure if that would work well with this version.? just a thought...

Play in unranked private matches without these idiots in your room in the first place.. honestly I don't see the lure of stats in the first place. when it comes to stats vs no pinheads... I'll take no pinheads.

I wrote them a couple of weeks ago.. stating I didn't give a rat's rear about stats, or rank and I had bought the game primarily to be able to play with friends/clan mates in co-op modes against AI's and just because someone was using bots to get rank.. (which who gives a crap about?) was no reason to take away the aspect of the game I had paid to receive. I got a pm Friday, thanking me for my purchase and assuring me they were going to bring back bots (however it would unrank the room). I don't care that its unranked.. the only problem with it and games these days is this idea that perks/bonuses/ and added weapons or abilities only come with rank and that to get them you are forced to play in rooms with people you don't know.. you don't like.. and are a bunch of fuking pinheads. I've played this game and to tell the truth playing against bots at veteran or elite difficulty is harder than playing against a lot of the other idiots online. Take away stats and leaderboard crap if you want.. but you should still be able to earn perks in bot games above trooper IMO. When are they going to learn for cheaters and rank up they are never going to be able to stop them.. stop forcing honest players to play with them.

CS-4, CS-3.. man I feel really behind the times. I'm still using 7.0 pre CS.. or CS-zero LOL. no wonder I didn't have near as many actions available.. also alt+F9 doesn't do anything. but I can just open the actions folder and load actions as needed as well as load some new ones I recently downloaded. So I was looking and CS3 and then CS4 have quite a bit of new features but not so many that it might be worth the price since my use is mostly recreation. At adobe to upgrade its like $300-$400 for CS3 and the same for CS4, it was not clear though that since I only have 7.0 if I wouldn't have to upgrade to CS first, than CS3, then CS4? holy cow that would be close to a grand!! What do yo guys think? it is worth it? has anybody else upgraded from version 7.0? can you upgrade straight to CS4 or 3? and lastly.. adobe's prices are up there, its just an upgrade.. they already hit me for big bucks when I first bought Photoshop which doesn't seem that long ago... 03 maybe? which I guess for software six years back is like ancient.. it looks like they put out a new version every other year sucking another 3-4 bills out of their end users.. hell that almost as bad as Microsoft Office.. :-\ I'm not into any pirate stuff but besides ebay (buying software on ebay is sort of risky) does anybody know if the upgrade is available at not such a high price? that if its even worth upgrading in the first place. looking at the new features the upgrades have its like.. sure those are cool but worth $400 or more?

I guess i should thank Multipletarget after reading that post on playing with actions I got looking for the action set I needed and found a free download for one that works.. gee I'm so excited. LOL.

oh and in case it involves spending more money for yet another program or its easier to just do it then explain things.. then here's the logo.. in some diff formats (not sure how the shading will look on a black background so I included a jpeg with white background as well, the goal is just the logo on a transparent background with some lighting effects) if any of you kind souls want to just beef up a bit of effects on it. feel free in lieu of educating da goat. guaranteed mad/luv for yah if you do.

I noticed a lot of sigs are getting some lighting effects.. letter light up or a flash across the sig or name etc.. etc.. anyway.. trying to help a friend with his web page he wanted to know how to make his logo stand out a bit more. Now I have Adobe Image Ready, PSP, Flash Pro 8.0, Microsoft gif animator.. and although they each have a few nice effects or transitions such as spin or zoom in/out I can't seem to find an easy way to add something like the lighting effect besides a general flare which doesn't move or global lighting. so there it is ..da goat doesn't know everything it seems? LOL but at least I know where to go when I need to find out.. right! So a tutorial or a link to some good info or a program suggestion or just some basic instructions on how to add a bit of bam! to a logo would be appreciated. Anybody got a clue on this?
