Thank you Urgent Fury for the chance to play in Crucible. We have had a blast. Being as new of a clan as we are we learned alot, and made some great friends. To all the clans that we have played in Crucible, you guys are all stand up, honorable, and fun to play with. Hope we can have many more matches here. We are looking forward to the next Crucible. And hopefully we make the Tac-map tourney as well. To the final 4 clans have fun and remember win or lose it was a blast to play in the very first crucible. and good luck. on behalf of SxB Thank you Staff and Admin and all the clans that are a part of this community

looks like toshiba is givin in Toshiba plans to withdraw from HD-DVD production Toshiba Corporation has decided to withdraw from next generation high-definition DVD production. Toshiba has been struggling with its version of the next generation DVD format, as support for Blu-ray technology has spread among US retailers. Toshiba has been in heated competition with other Japanese electronic giants such as Sony, Panasonic and Hitachi, which produce the high-definition DVD format, Blu-ray. The Blu-ray format now makes up 90 percent of the Japanese high-definition DVD market after winning last year's price war for DVD recorders and players. Toshiba faced even more difficulty when the major movie studio, Warner Brothers Entertainment, announced that it planned to use only the Blu-ray format for its movie software. The company said it will continue to sell HD-DVD products for a while but will stop further development of HD DVD. Meanwhile, it said its DVD factories in Aomori Prefecture, northern Japan, would be closed. Market observers said that Toshiba could suffer a loss of hundreds of millions of US dollars. http://www.nhk.or.jp/daily/english/ http://www.akihabaranews.com/en/news-15518-The+HD-DVD+is+Dead+%21+Officially+Official+%21+Report+the+Japanese+TV+NHK+%21.html

honestly the porn industry had nothing to do with the format war this time around. it wasnt a major player as it was in the Vhs vs. beta battle.
