HD radio is really no different that HD television. I good comparison would be turn on your radio and listen to a song, then pop in that cd with the same song .... that's roughly the difference in sound. HD radio sounds much better, just as a CD does over the radio.

No shit! A fellow Sabres fan? You from the Buffalo area? I'm from pittsburgh and went to that game. Definitely one of the best sporting events I've ever been to.

We've made sure all of SHO knows of this tournament, the problem is only about 10-15% of our clan is interested in playing 1 vs 1 .... it just doesn't interest most of us. I think it's a good "mix it up" idea but when it was first announced I wondered if the numbers would be low for the reasons above.

That wouldn't surprise me at all if it's real. It was on a tee, that makes a huge difference. Imagine if the winds were blowing at 15-20 mph ? Kickoffs go 80 yards plus pretty often, so I don't think 100 yards is that far fetched.

Yeah man hit a chiropractor up, I've had sciatic problems for about a year and the best relief is when I go to my chiropractor for an adjustment and get stim therapy.

LOL, Darksyde, my head got tired of beating against the wall ... I gave up All the mod does is let you view the video without leaving the forums, it doesn't force you to watch anything or make it so you see something inappropriate.

See, it all depends on your typical travels. I've gone through 3 different providers because both AT&T and Verizon has way too many drop zones in between my home and work. Sprint, works just fine. -
I'm fine with whatever you guys decide, I just don't think your understanding what the mod does NOTHING is loading or playing until YOU CLICK ON IT. The same way it works if you click on a link that opens a youtube page and starts playing the video .... your making it sound like the video is playing when you open the thread. That is not how it works so there is absolutely no difference whatsoever in terms of something being played that might be inappropriate. You still have to CLICK on something to play it.

Sorry, but that leaves the forum a little open for some "questionable" offerings at times. We still monitor what gets posted here and, if they're links, it's not as urgent fur us to get to it as if it were blaring right on your screen right here on the forums. We still have the occasional community member who likes to push the limits of what we consider decent here and, as always, we want the forum to be viewable ANYWHERE you happen to be. Tow, it's nothing different from someone posting a link. The user or browser would still have to click to have it play. It's a great mod on SMF's part. All it does is allow the forum browser to view the video while still in the thread ... it doesn't take them away from your site just to watch it. So in terms of moderation, there is absolutely no difference than a link or a preloaded video embedded in the thread.

Just a small request. Could you install the SMF mod that allows you to just post a youtube link and it embeds the video into the post so we can view it without having to actually leave the UF forums ?

Damn, I thought COD has improved a lot since it's release. I really hated playing the game for the same reasons you mentioned dubYa, but over the last month or two I think stability has increased a ton !
