My dad is a Mets fan so I grew up watching the Jets and Mets (but I hate the Mets. Yankees forever!) I finally have something to look forward to with Mark Sanchez and co. There is no way I was picking the sorry ass Raiders, Rams, or Chargers with Montana and Rice lighting up the field. I grew up here in Chicago and with my entire family being from Minnesota I have no choice but to be a Bears fan. I've rooted for them through the bad years and good. Most of mine sadly have been bad but things are looking up now. I think the Bears have been blessed with some of the GREATEST players ever. Mike Ditka was an amazing Tight End, We've had Dick Butkus, Mike Singletary, Gale Sayers, and many others. However without a doubt we had the best ever in Walter"Sweetness" Payton. There are as many payton jerseys in this city as there are of all active players combined. Quote
