They must be doing a lot to make Confrontation be the best SOCOM. Because this game at E3 was set to be released November of 2007 and now its going well into the next year. They must be doing a lot of work to make this game great. So w/e it releases i'll be happy cause i have CoD4 now. -

Wow Most Useless Perks - Juggernaut - This just equals that you have no confidence in your aim ahhahhah. But nah useless if you get naded, shot in the chest which most people shoot at, or run into a claymore. - Martyrdom - Does not work around skilled players. - Last Stand - This perk is dumb around good players... - Double Ammo - Dumb since you can pick up a weapon really easily. - Perk where you can carry 2 weapons, also dumb since you can pick up weapons... there are more but i cant remember them.... Best perks in my opinion are... Stronger Bullet Penetration (forgot the name of it) 3x Nades Extreme Conditioning

When you reach LEVEL 55, you can enter a Prestige mode. Which means, you get a new ICON RANK and your rank resets, meaning you lose all of your weapons and challenges and start from LEVEL 1 again. But you have the new RANK ICON to let others know that you've completed the 1st level of prestiege. THere are 10 Presige levels, good luck.

very true. I've been there and there is no better feeling then winning a championship in a league that you've been playing for the last 3 months. hahahahaha

OH i know man, i'm upfront with all my stuff and i like people to be upfront with me. Like i said and like you said 90% of the game is Respawn so why not leave S&D the way it was meant to be. But then again like you've stated its a 4 week tourney so its really not a big deal in the end.

So let me ask this....from a purely analytical standpoint......if you personally hate respawn because there is no real point in staying alive, and it beats the "whole purpose" of playing the game....then why do you elect to play a game that's pretty much 85% respawn? I think Search and Destroy is the only mode without a respawn, correct? I like the gameplay, graphics and my clan is on it. When i log on and nobody is on, i play only search and destroy. There's a value to actually stay alive and not die. Respawn is more like, Chaos. People all over the place, no order at all. I still play it tho, but i personally do not like it. One mode that isnt respawn now has 2 lives/respawn. I dont want you to get mad or anything i'm just speaking my mind.

I agree with WiZ, S&D is the best mode and with 2nd life you guys are taking the "REAL FUN" of S&D. Whole point of Search & Destroy is no Respawn, its 3min. rounds it should stay like that. All the modes are pretty much "RESPAWN" instead of S&D so why take that away? I personally hate respawn because there is no real point in staying alive because if you die you can comeback, beats the whole purpose of playing the game.

only true SOCOMers know the feelings they have experienced with the game. I dont think i'll ever forget the people i've met and the crazy clutch wars that socom brought. CoD4 is nice and all, even great. But SOCOM had a certain FEELING to it that i still havent found in any Shooter to this day. That alone says something about the game. Now, lets play some Sujo or Enowapi as seals.

We're all the same people here, We love our 3rd person shooter SOCOM. There is so many memories, so many friends, its like a cult. Get on every night with the same people. It truly is a family. Everybody would log on, head over to their server. You practically know everybody who plays in your server. The lobby system is priceless and by far the best for online gaming. Zipper may have messed up with cheaters, no updates and broken promises. But their online LOBBY SYSTEM is the best and i think these other gaming companies need to learn from them on that aspect.

I'm 73% goat and 73% god... hahahahhahaha Man i miss SOCOM. Nothing better than trying to enter the basement in Death Trap. Makes me want to play the game now.

I still prefer Dazzle 150 i believe, but i love the video. The quality is really good for the size of the video. Keep em comin' dave.

yeah snipers are pretty ghay in CoD4. IW tried to patch it up with the last patch but the problem still exists. The problem starts with lag, even tho you dont virtually see anybody lagging, but you do see it on the Killcam. Do you die sometimes where you started shooting the guy before you but he kills you? and on the killcam it shows him kill you before you even started shooting. There is this NON SEEN lag thats like half a second to a second, that really plays a big role into the sniping.

Those might prepare you for our Crucible and Black tourneys........but when/IF you get to a full-blown tacmap UF tourney, nothing really prepares you. LOL And if I didn't say this before, welcome to the UF Community. Yeah i heard about the full tacmap UF tourney haahahahhah thanks and looking forward to it.

oh okay thanks, cause i got about 10 - 15 guys that have been playing together for 5 plus years. We're used to these types of leagues/tournaments cause we were in the NSL.
