Well....first off, THANK YOU everyone for bringing this to FOUR pages by the time I got to read it. It was just....peachy. I just KNOW this is going to be a long post, so I'm going to buck my own trend here, and just lay it out bullet style. 1: Dv8 leaving is their own choice. You don't have to like it, you don't have to hate it. You don't have to do anything at all. If they want to leave, it's their choice. 2: [iLL], you don't like how Apple railed on you guys when you pulled out of Crucible. Fine. And she was banned for the comments she made. You guys still pissy over that? Get over it. Her response months ago had NOTHING or should have had nothing to do with you feeling entitled to question Dv8's leaving tonight. This isn't eye for an eye here, people. We don't work that way here. This is "take the high road" country. If someone wants to say things, let them. I don't know if we've ever failed to keep the peace around here. But then that's where it ends and everyone moves on. So MOVE ON. 3: I've read QUITE enough jabs, subtle or otherwise, in this thread (and some other thread regarding Dv8 News and $150) against UF, it's clans or its admins. Hi-Def, your last post on this thread was most disappointing and I did not imagine seeing that from you. Dv8 News will continue to inform Playstation gamers about the Urgent Fury tournaments in the best light possible, as well as all the other tournaments/ladders available to the Playstation gamers and let them make the decision for themselves. Well, all I can say there is that I hope we don't make it to hard on you to show us "in the best light." You make it sound like we're some public relations horror that needs to be spun to the public. I THOUGHT I knew what you thought of this community, but now I am not so sure. What I can say is this....members of Dv8, though I will be specific here and put the brunt of this comment on just yours and Apple's shoulders, have been pretty abrasive here in your first stint within this community. From Apple's toilet mouth (which is TRUE juxtaposition to her sweet glowworm demeanor on your show), to your subtle jabs at this tournament and its admins, to Obidus's comments in your $150 thread, to your class-act M4A1 character who liked to brazenly belittle every single player here in UF....I just don't get you guys. You run a SHOW. You're SUPPOSED to act like you care about your reputation, and ITS reputation and your players' reputations. But all I have seen at this point is select Dv8 members, specifically their leadership, taking a VERY personal stake in ANYTHING said around them, whether or not it was even aimed at you or was a cut-down whatsoever. I even took the time to try and cool Apple down when you had trouble on your forum regarding Apple's outrage over some European tourney backing out on you guys.....which was their right, yet they got blasted for it.....BY YOU. Evidently, any help I offered that day went in one ear and out the other. In short and for the most part, Dv8 has been a tedious relationship at best and most of that is due to the short tempers of its leadership. Guys....you do a show. You put yourselves out there to the public. You'd THINK that by now, you could take some jabs with some thickened skin and move on. But it seems that you need to take every little breeze that blows your way and fire back with a tornado. The only exception I can make here from my OWN personal experience is your member, Public-Defender, who I have found to always be a courteous player and person. No matter WHAT situation Dv8 or any of its members have found their way in here in UF, there has NEVER....NEVER been an apology at the tail end of it. NEVER. Except for Public Defender, who felt compelled to PM the following to me after ONE of your Dv8 outbursts.....forgive me if I can't pinpoint exactly which out of the many it was.... And out of all the situations and trouble we've encountered, big or small, with Dv8 members, this was the ONLY apology to come out of it. Perhaps you two can focus on your little show and perhaps appoint Public Defender here as Dv8's official instructor on honorable etiquette. It might take you guys a long way. I had no trouble with you and Dv8 leaving the tourney, Hi-Def. You had your reasons, it's not my place nor worry if you didn't want to let us know AHEAD of time so that PERHAPS we could have mediated something between parties to allow your players to continue playing. I didn't care if you were leaving. What I DO care about is the comments that your Dv8 members are making about OUR tourney on OUR forum. To compare, Def, if you need it.......NO ONE from Urgent Fury, creator or Staff....NO ONE from from my clan APC, whom I keep SEPARATE from Urgent Fury (like you say you do with your clan and Dv8 News) has ever blasted on you or your clan or your show on YOUR forums. NO ONE on "this" side has shown you, your camp or your show the disrespect that you have shown to us here. Try and wrap your mind around that for a bit because I know you may need a double take on that. Please consider this a severance notice. My Staff had been asking me this for weeks and, quite frankly, so have a lot of players here in UF. Why we consider risking our reputation that we carefully craft here for a couple of faceless tv show hosts who like to throw their respect out the window anytime they THINK they smell an insult coming their way, regardless whether or not there really is one to begin with. In Sniper's and my opinion, neither of you carry yourselves in a professional enough manner that we here at Urgent Fury would REQUIRE from a party that we associate with on an artistic level. We've given it enough time, but we clearly see no positives coming from this anymore. We THOUGHT we were pairing up with something that could do as much good for us as we would for them. We have given you a tourney, subject matter to report on, a place, an HONEST place, to game it up for your clan, and we have populated your forum. REALLY populated your forum. You have given us.......Dv8. Hell, I don't even know if your show has brought ONE single clan here to Urgent Fury that hasn't already been here. So you can see, from our stand point, further association with Dv8 News simply does Urgent Fury NO GOOD. What we have here is not a "partnership," it's a symbiotic relationship. One is getting more than the other. I'm not saying I agree with that European league for getting uppity with you, because I do not have all the facts, but I can say that I potentially UNDERSTAND them more. Good luck to you and your venture in tv. I know you want to become the next G4. You have along way to go, but who knows. I will be instructing my entire UF Staff this evening to withdraw their accounts from your forum. Urgent Fury no longer wishes to associate with Dv8 News. Hopefully you'll oblige in their requests, as I don't know if you allow people to delete their own accounts on there. I don't believe I was able to. This is the end of our partnership. Hopefully, if ANYTHING, this may have opened up your eyes on how a bad approach to a partnership, as you had displayed, can be detrimental to any future partnerships you may attempt. Please remove any and all sections regarding Urgent Fury from your forum. Any and all artwork involving UF should also be stricken from your website. Sniper and I will clean up any Dv8 material from our website by tomorrow. And that will be that. Please oblige all UF Staff of their request to be removed from your forum. You're not too much an idiot to know that JyK doesn't sit in the BEST regard with UF and that YOU certainly don't sit in the best regard with ME. I have nothing to prove here. JyK has a LOT to prove. Play your cards right and JyK may possibly end up fixing the mess JyK created for itself in the first place. But keep up your unoriginal and irritating sense of sarcasm and humor, and this Crucible-3 will be the LAST UF tourney JyK will participate in. You're not the first person to think it's cool to get under my skin. So I've had plenty of practice with annoyances like you. Don't test my limits this time around. This community has NO room for people that like to create selfish little ripples in the water for their own amusement. We're too BUSY around here, if you haven't noticed. Your CLAN is depending on it.

As we come up to the midway point of Riot Act, we're down to only seven clans remaining in the tourney, with each one still holding on strong. However, in updating things tonight, it looks like of the seven, only LPK and SHO are running strong at a full roster. The other five clans have POWs in desperate need of rescue. I must say, the flow of this tourney is heading in a very good direction. Aside from the small hiccup this week, we're looking at a smooth-running tourney thus far with little-to-no disputes going on in the CR section. This has been very noticeable AND welcome. Clans are getting eliminated at a pace where it looks possible that this may not even hit 13 weeks....though judging from the caliber of clans remaining, I doubt we'll see a dominant winner by week 13. I think there's some bad asses in there that will make sure we see some play offs. It's very nice to see such a tight race through the first 6 weeks here. It means the next 7 are going to get VERY exciting. And I'm looking forward to it. (Sniper and I already have our picks to win......and they're different......and we have a pancake dinner riding on it ;D )
