Why? Feel sorry for the clans that haven't found Urgent Fury yet. The seven clans in Crucible-X are the ones that are gonna have fun. LOL You need to fix your perspective!

No, sorry. It's our honest effort here to remove any standing with a clan when you represent UF. We cannot be perceived as unbiased when we're sporting sigs saying "long live SxB!" or something of that nature. When we leave these forums and go to our own clan forums, you can see our clan pride all over the place if you like. Here, we shed the clan tag and we honor the duties we have before us for UF. Not to sound too business like in that response, but Sniper and I are VERY strict when it comes to this.

Though that might have been a sentimental, teary-eyed moment, Sniper and I will be taking care of that on our lonesome when I greet him on Thursday that week. We'll be able to hide our true emotions for each other on Saturday when we meet everyone.

Killa, the days will most likely NOT change. And Devil, yes it will. Our suggestion is, if you're IN the Riot Act tourney, then you may not want to stretch yourself thin by doing another tourney at the same time. This tourney will be stretching you already. You'll have POWs taken from you. You'll not have enough people on for your wars every week (which COULD go up to FOUR a week!). Very rarely, if ever, have I seen a clan do a TACMAP -and- another eval tourney at the same time.

My advice to ANY clan in ANY of the Urgent Fury tournaments: Never underestimate your opponent and until it says "Victory" on your screen, never assume you have the win before you actually won. Some of these clans here in UF are just plain GOOD. That's it, that's all. My only other advice is.....don't sweat it too much. I think that clans have a better track record in wars if they're having FUN while they're competing to win. Too much pressure to win can hamper your ability to flow as a team, giving the opponent an edge off of your tenseness. Something that helps with this is remembering where you are. This is Urgent Fury. It's not about winning or who's standing at the top when everything settles....it's more about HOW you won or lost and how you are perceived by your UF peers AFTER you've won or lost that really matters. "Respect" doesn't play into an ultimate UF victory. "Respect" comes into play when you're not asking for it and it just arrives due to the way your clan conducts itself before, during and after that war. Good luck to you. Hope some of that helps.

lol, why the hate? no hate Wiz, just given ya a little crap. we cant get to ya on the battlefield so i gotta throw it at ya here. plus, you guys are undefeated this far into 2 crucible tourneys, and so your starting to remind me of the unbeatable new england patriots. if UF can only find their giants Or iLL's spying camera crew! LOL

First upset of the night, in my opinion! Taking nothing away from BHZ....I just know SxB a little more and I know SxB can be a tough one to take down. Looks like BHZ is looking to make a name for themselves early on! Good job to both teams here.

APC really doesn't know what it's doing when out in the field. Sometimes we forget who we're WARRING. We constantly have in-field disputes on who is the team leader for the night. We have absolutely no organizational skills whatsoever. I think out of our entire existence, APC has had, in total, about THREE WEEKS of genuine good play. Other than that, we struggle every night deciding whether or not we should quit tourney play altogether. We don't really "camp," per se, rather we are simply HIDING.

About 90% of my fluid intake is water. I do not drink pop and I rarely drink juices. Whenever I DO resort to an energy drink, it will be one of two things and two things only. 1: Coffee. Someone said it above. I take a cup of coffee, black, down it like there is no tomorrow in a few gulps, and then I head off to the gym for some cardio work. No sugar, no cream (at least before the gym. If I have coffee in the morning, I like it with milk and sugar, not cream). 2: If I do an energy drink, I drink one and one only. Monster, the BLUE can. The BLUE can has only 10 carbs in it and no sugar. Drinking ANY energy drink with sugar in it completely defeats the purpose of HAVING one. You're either going to crash from the sugar soon after if you're sedentary OR you will just pack on more carbs to burn if you have one before the gym. Doesn't make sense. Drink one that is no sugar and LOW in carbs. The BLUE Monster has never let me down. It does give me a boost whenever I've had a dragging day and I need some pep before the gym. I do not, nor do I recommend, drinking these daily. I have maybe one a week, as that's how frequent I will have those "I don't WANNA go to the gym" moods.

Well, we know that there ARE fans of the 1st person shooter out there, and CoD4 was a good treat for them. UF took a LOT of time to develop tourneys for this title. It would be a waste to see all the hard work tank because the series may go back to WWII. As for as UF is concerned, as long as it stays "modern" and there is a player base here at UF, then we will continue to develop tourneys for it. I do not foresee us doing this, however, if it goes back to outdated warfare. -

Invitations will go out to the clans being accepted into UF: Riot Act Monday evening here on the forum. As 19 clans have signed up for a 20-clan tourney, everyone should still remember that no one is guaranteed an invitation. Clans that fulfill Urgent Fury standards and stipulations will be the ones accepted into this tournament in order to create the best and most honest atmosphere for the clans competing in this TACMAP tourney for the next 13 weeks. Invites should be up no later than 10pm CST along with information on submitting your entry fee through PayPal. Good luck to all clans on Invite Night and further through the rest of the tourney. Attention UF Community.... We've had five UF: Black tourneys..... .....two UF: Crucible tourneys...... .....one charity tourney..... .....and FOUR UF: TACMAP tourneys (some lasting 30 weeks)..... Take this time to document your FONDEST war during your stay here in Urgent Fury. Simply the war that you invariably end up thinking about whenever you're bored out of your mind at work and you start thinking about warring, or the war you remember as you psych yourself up for the war you're about to have in 20 minutes. Every war veteran carries a book of war stories for friends and family, and here at Urgent Fury, you can be no different. What you write here MAY be used very soon in the Urgent Fury website. When writing these, please keep these points in mind to provide a very succinct "war journal:" > Please do not make it more than two paragraphs. > Please include your clan name (at that time) as well as the name of your opponent's clan. > Please include specific details about that war (the more PERTINENT details you include, the better). > Please specify which tournament this war transpired in. > Include any details in which you believe the excitement may have been elevated simply because it was a UF-war, supported by the UF rules, website and/or forum. Multiple players from the same clan may submit a journal entry here. Just because one war was memorable to one player does not mean the same war is memorable to his partner. Again, it will remain a guarded secret as to what and where we decide to do something with these, but write them as if what you provide will be displayed for all to see.
