Yes. EA is doing the same damn thing for the new Godfather II game coming out. I think its crap, especially when it gives you a clear advantage. EA are a bunch of money grubbin' bastards. An offer you can refuse: Godfather II premium packs coming two weeks after launch Yea, I remember when they did that. They released it to everyone after all the complaints they got. I guess they don't give a shit this time.

I'm glad this topic was brought up. I think I might have a Trojan horse on my work laptop. Which surprises me, due to all the protection it has on it. But then again, I had one before and the company computer geeks didn't know how that happened either. But that one never worked right due to the virus protection, but it kept trying to, so it slowed my computer down. But anyway I have this item that appears only in my picture and video documents. Its titled "Thumbs.db". When I delete it it just reappears by itself. I scanned it for viruses, but it doesn't show any risk. Any ideas? Because I'm nervous about calling the computer geeks again. I'm afraid its something I did.

That's interesting about MAG. After those pics were leaked, I though they said they were fake. But obviously they weren't. I'm really looking forward to this game, mainly because of the 256 player aspect. I'm very curious to see how that is gonna work. I'm also looking forward to The Punisher and Battlefield: 1943. I love PSN games. Its so conveinant. -
This issue has been around for a while, perhaps this patch made it worse. I had this issue frequently until I disabled DTS sound. The PS3 defaults to DTS sound (via the optical out) if it's enabled. Since I've been using the Dolby Surround and haven't had an issue since disabling DTS in the Sound Settings. This also worked when I was just using sound through the TV via HDMI. I just noticed this advice. I lost sound for the first time since the patch and noticed my receiver flashing different functions. If I disable the DTS and use Dolby Surround, does that reduce my sound quality? I guess its a small price to pay for sound, but its kinda of bullshit I have to do this for SOCOM. When no other game has ever dropped the sound.

dlink is wtf! lol... I've never had a dlink last me more than 6 months! I have the cheapest D-link made. I paid $30 for it ant Target. I've had it for over a year now, and I haven't had one problem. (knock on wood...literally) I know people who have $150 Linksys who are always having problems. Now don't me wrong, I'm not recommending any of them. I'm an idiot when it comes to computer shit, but I think the whole picture has a lot to do with your wireless router.

I haven't had this problem until the 1.42 patch. This wasn't a matter of the game not launching right, it was launched incomplete. Just about every game has its quirks and bugs when first released. Patch 1.50 is clearly the rest (I hope) of the game that should have been there before they took my $60 for it. Its now the principle of the thing. The lack of accountability on their part pisses me off.

Another tip would be to just put in the minimum amount of money you need to buy whatever your buying. For example...If your buying something for $9.99, don't put $50 in there. Put in the minimum, which I believe is $20. If there is ever any extra cash in my wallet, its usually only a few dollars.

I've read about this before on the Playstation forums. This is why when I put money in my wallet, I delete the card info. The money is there, but the credit card info is gone. This obviously doesn't work with the PSN cards, but its a good practice if you use a credit card. I'd rather update my account profile everytime I want to purchase something from the store than to have some friggin' douche bag get my card info.

People are forgetting that this is HUGE! They released a product where functions in their owners manual are missing! They should have never sold a product without mentioning this. They released this game as is and made us all believe that it was complete.

This is Postal 3. Postal III Link Does anybody know anything about the first two? I thought I heard this was one of those games that was banned and pulled from the shelves. I could be wrong, but after seeing this trailer, holy schnike! This game looks bloody violent. Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with that, but I see a bunch of feel good a-holes protesting this game.

I gotta be honest, I'm looking forward to Battlefield:1943. I like DL versions of games. I'm waiting for SOCOM to be on sale so I have it in my library.

I looked on gamestop's website they have the release date as 5/26/09 http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=72875 So a demo should be sooner then June. Does everygame release a demo before full release? Also, is there confirmation that a demo is coming out??

you want to see the vids? or have you seen them already? No' date=' I want to see more [b']actual [/b] gameplay videos. Most of what I've seen is CGI cut scene and gameplay testing.

I would wait until this rumor is confirmed. Rumor: 'PSP 3G' Coming This April? Couple question: 1. Is the original PSP worth more because it can be hacked? 2. Can you transfer PS1 games that are available from the PSN to a memory card?
