Hmmm, well from playing in LAN tournaments and other tournies that have been recorded, I do know strategies CAN (though not a majority of the time) be revealed through match footage. I'm guessing that's where iLL's discomfort came from and rightfully so. One thing though, as competetive gaming grows, its becoming a new form of entertainment to view. With that a lot of competitions, (including UF it appears to me), are moving in the direction of sharing the intensity of this sport with the world. Maybe everyone should become use to this as it's starting to become a standard in competetive gaming. Besides, the great teams I've seen never falter no matter what because they always have the best strategies for every team, and always execute them better then other teams do theirs. Like the Patriots last year for instance... 18 teams watched hours of game footage on them, and came up with the best strategy to counter them, and what happened to those teams.... exactly. Thing is with this recording business, neither side is wrong for having their belief which makes it such a tough issue. Just an outsiders point of view....

Yeah it definetly looks like you'll need designated people who are good at certain things. You'll need people who are good at driving cars, people who are good at driving motorbikes. People who can pilot helicopters, marksmen to snipe from the helicopters. The possibilities are endless and this online has the potential to steal me away from the FPS shooters I'm currently playing.

I can't wait to try out the "Cops and Crooks" mode. I bet it's going to take alot of strategy.

You are aware that you can't get a true 1080p picture from the 360. They are only HDMI 1.2 compatible as oppose to the PS3 which is HDMI 1.3 compatible. HDMI 1.3 = True 1080p Did Microsoft upgrade to 1.3 in the 360s? If so, then I would love to see Gears of War 2 in 1080p!

I agree with you US25, alot of people flaming the game already who either haven't tried it, or haven't given it a chance. R6V2 is actually IMO a great game. Alot of people have been experiencing server issues, but my upgraded internet speed has allowed me to host, lag free, boot free rooms . Hopefully they will have the servers fixed for everyone in the next couple of days. Definetly a step down speedwise and graphically from COD4, but much more realistc when it comes to gameplay. Looks way better than the first, the in game XMB friends list and lobby system are refreshing additions to the game and customization is back and better then Vegas 1 PS3 (Now you can map your face on your character with the PS eye) I love the R6 series because their games have always have required much more skill then your normal FPS games. Alot of people who were decent a COD4 are having problems with the tactical gameplay on Rainbow and are writing it off. But I wouldn't knock the game unless actually I tried it. My opinion would be, COD4 is probably the funner game overall, as IW's aim was to make a game everyone could enjoy and win at. But if your into more realistic shooters and want to really challenge your tactical shooter gaming skills, R6V2 is a great buy. Servers need to be worked, and it's still early, but overall, I give it 8.5/10
