Ive been on the DL for a while.. quite busy with life and such.. but I always seem to have this place on the back of my mind wondering what the hell is going on , on these here forums... There are far too many memories, and countless crazy topic threads.. (and alot of stupid ones, that i've had the pleasure to read) anywho... hope all is well... P.S. Regarding twitter.. Firstly, im not huge on twitter, but i follow tech people who post intersting technology stuff, and its forwarded to my phone, etc.. but MAN.. does UF spam the crap out of Twitter... whats the deal on that? Might be just me.. but meh... carry on

Interesting to know, and yes... that the one thing that you need to remember, is that all of your hardware would need to support gigabit ethernet,, i.e. modem, router, switch if you have one, cabling cat5e or cat6... but thats actually really cool, didnt know that the ps3 could support that.

Im Running Windows 7 RC1 still and its solid as hell... I have no complaints. its certianly by far the best OS microsoft has ever offered IMO. Im currently running it on a 5 year old pc 200GB HD 1GB RAM A Freakin Celeron @ 2.6ghz and an nvidia Geforce 630 (256mb) Works great... sure it'll run better on a newer pc, but considering the age of my pc, and how smoothly its running... i was impressed.

can i make a suggestion though.. I had mobile updates, but last night, I had to turn it off.. i think including the war reports as a tweet is serious over kill.. my phone wouldnt stop for a while there last nite.

I had mixed feelings about it. I saw it with the wife the other day. Its definitely a guy movie.. alot of blood, explosions, cool technology, etc. The thing that I had trouble with was the Matrix-esque-ness (<--wow, what a mishmosh of a word) of it, and how it was like going a bit deep in terms of like the future of society, and how people will interact for entertainment. **SEMI SPOILERS** They pretty much made playstation Home come to life, in a sick twisted kind of way, where you have a human controlling another human being in a game called "Society" Where you can either pay to control someone, or get paid to be controlled. Dunno.. over all the thing i enjoyed most was watching how they made it feel Video game-ish, and it was like watching a real life match of call of duty 4.. which was awesome. Gerard Butler is a uber badass in this movie, and id nominate him to play solid snake in a heartbeat after watching his badassness in this movie

I was around to watch a little bit of UF2 on the forums and website... and finally got my clan of the time involved in UF3 (which still holds the record for being the longest lasting UF tourney, not to mention the untimely end) During UF3 we plays clans such as the Tactical Assassins, and The Warriors (Chilli's clan) 9 Straight weeks of Tidal Fury Control Points... lol... Just curious how far back do YOU go? *And yes chilli, we know that you were here since the beginning.. ya bastard.

Just thought i'd remind you guys that its August 09... Confrontation dropped Oct 08.. so 10 months later the finally have the supposed "Magic Patch" mmhmmm... riiiiight... Even if they magically made socom perfect.. its like a husband who cheats on his wife... The wife (Socomers) will never trust the husband (socom) again, because it was so fucked up and so flawed, that people wont be able to ever look at it the same way. Hence, when all of these new (Significantly more awesome) games drop... Its going to be a mass exodus over to those games.. And all Slant 6 will have is "HEY GUYS WE PATCHED THE GAME FINALLY AFTER ALMOST A YEAR OF RELEASE", "OH AND WE HAVE DLC!!!"" "OH RIGHT, BUT THEY'RE REALLY JUST OLD MAPS THAT YOU PLAYED 5 YEARS AGO" "SO NOTHING REALLY NEW AND INNOVATIVE"
