I was also curious about this.. only cuz of what he said.. the game functions properly.. Socom seems to be lacking "something" for the majority of the community and although im not a FPS fan.. my clan seems to be torn almost right down the middle.. I do think it might be a bit early though too.. the game hasnt even been out a week yet.. it may turn out to be one of those games that just dies out after a week or 2 like alot of them do.. there is always a big fan base dedicated.. but the over all usually seems to fade after the initial newness wears off.

Yea i was in no way stating that anyone had to do anything. Simply verifying that the 18+ doesnt just mean they only accept members who are older then 18... and was trying to avoid any people getting in trouble at work.. being alot of people surf at work.

Try setting mozillas download path to your desktop. From there your files should all just download to desktop making it easy to find and double click... not sure if you already tried this or not.. but a system restart might be a good thing as well.. not sure how long or how many installs you have done since last restart.. let me know if this solves the prob.

Wow.. like i always say though.. "if it can be written.. it can be unwritten.." meaning.. code is great and horrible at the same time. It only takes one disgruntled ex employee to ruin things for all.... in some cases it just needs to be a smart programmer that can get his hands on the source code.. it disgusts me.. really no way to beat it..

Alright..some insight from the bluntsmoker... i used to work in video production and while working there i learned quite a bit about resolutions.. 1080i and 1080p are essentially the same thing .. its just processed differently. The end result is almost identical and most human eyes cannot see the difference if you have true signals. Think of it like .zip files and .rar files.. they both compress and create a container for the files.. they just store the info a little different. As for component vs HDMI.. HDMI is the higher end.. you cannot achieve TRUE 1080p through a component cable.. has something to do w/ the way files are dealt w/. HDMI is a digital signal and carries digital audio and video... while component carries analog. As for the tv setting thing.. i really have no experience or knowledge beyond my 1080p Sharp... which has auto select.. it changes when the signal does. If you have a 1080 tv.. i or p.. it should be capable of downgrading resolution, infact i have never seen a tv that didnt.. but again i have little experience beyond what i own. The ps3 setting thing mentioned above is crazy.. i cant believe it tards out when it should clearly be smart enough to detect that type of thing.. i dont remember what i have mine set to.. but when a game gets loaded it always views in 720 or above for me.. if this is not the case for some i can look into my settings and post what i have... hoping that it might help as a reference point for those who need.. I am sure others will have some light to shine.. but if i can help anymore please ask.. thats what i am here for.. ;D

Will it not auto install?? is that the problem? sometimes w/ mozilla you need to download the add ons or updates and then double click the actual files that update. I use mozilla all the time. I have to do that periodically w/ different add ons and such..
