I also heard that they will be allowing the duplication of blu-ray discs. You just have to have the right laser and machine to copy them...it should be interesting to hear some new news on this topic. Its been pretty quiet on this for a bit now. hmmmmmmmmm

The main difference is blu-ray is 50 GB vs. HD-DVD 30 GB disc. They both use the same type of laser to imprint them. The size allows for more functions in the main menu, such as little games and a lot of extra content. HD-DVD's have skimped out on extras due to this space issue so far. Blu-ray hasnt done much better (but they have) in the extra/content department. When they become more mainstream blu-ray will have the upper hand in my opinion.
